The intro was just slash doing some string skipping warmups before actually playing. Rock and roll was first created through a blending of country and blues, so he’s right about the country influence. This song in particular uses a pretty common country/rock chord progression with a bluesy offbeat rhythm, and Slash (the lead guitarist) uses both country and blues techniques in his guitar work.

I mean music nowadays are like 50/50 because you have true talent singers and you have true auto-tune talent singers aswell... I can say that music between 70' and 90's were the best, and even the videoclips where more detailed and talented! I would definitely recommend Live Aid from Queen as one of the best rock music's in the world from GNR (Guns N Roses) the unique " November Rain ", oh and btw nowadays Axel Rose's voice sounds like Mickey because he gave 100% in all clips and lives, but that will not change anything, he is a PURE LEGEND! Cheers from Portugal, love you 💖 keep it the excellent work and hope you have a happy new year and next year you get more and more subscribers, you deserve them all 🙏🏻💖

You've got a really great reaction style. I'm diggin your channel. In my opinion it was hard hearing you do a hard stop in the middle of Slash's solo.
    Merry Christmas! 🎄⛄

Some songs are just life altering experiences. Almost any GNR , this and Paradise City especially. Voodoo Child with Jimi Hendrix, Soundgarden, Audioslave, Rage Against the Machine are a true gold.

Slash is one of the greatest guitar players of all time. And when Axel isn't on drugs he's one of the best frontman. This song is classic and timeless. You should check out Slash playing for Michael Jackson's 30th celebration and for Howard Stern's birthday where he played Dream On with Steven Tyler. What's poppin'?

yo, laid back. this is the 90’s hard rock ballad. this CD was released at the same time as Terminator 2. 1989 release. This was the song that “broke” GnR into mainstream MTV rotation. GnR is very blues based, so the country comments make sense, same roots.
