Rock and roll was first created through a blending of country and blues, so he’s right about the country influence. This song in particular uses a pretty common country/rock chord progression with a bluesy offbeat rhythm, and Slash (the lead guitarist) uses both country and blues techniques in his guitar work.

Is just impressive how rock changes those days.. when you look back and see artist's as Axel rose, Slash one of the best guitarists in the whole world, Freddie Mercury, David Bowie... I mean music nowadays are like 50/50 because you have true talent singers and you have true auto-tune talent singers aswell... I can say that music between 70' and 90's were the best, and even the videoclips where more detailed and talented! I would definitely recommend Live Aid from Queen as one of the best rock music's in the world from GNR (Guns N Roses) the unique " November Rain ", oh and btw nowadays Axel Rose's voice sounds like Mickey because he gave 100% in all clips and lives, but that will not change anything, he is a PURE LEGEND! Cheers from Portugal, love you 💖 keep it the excellent work and hope you have a happy new year and next year you get more and more subscribers, you deserve them all 🙏🏻💖

I love getting to experience this for the first time again with you, but I have to say without you getting the personality and members of the crew you do lose some of the magic with these bands with setpieces and personality.
    Keep it up!

This song came out when I was in the 6th grade and it blew me away. I listened to this whole album 5 times a day for a year. Now I’ve graduated to the deathgrind genre after updating my musical tastes after I hit 40 years old.

Stay away from "November Rain", "Patience" and "Civil War".... overplayed, mainstream "we had to do it" trash..
These are all songs people that never bought Appetite for Destruction will recommend and only know GnR from the radio.

I think it's so awesome that there's people who can generally vibe with multi genres. I'm 41 years old and I understand sometimes people are used to their own environment and stuck to their own ways and everything's a one-way Street for most of them when it comes to culture but it's so nice to see that there's other people like myself that can vibe with rap and Rock and OST's and r&b etc etc..... Props to you bro for keeping it fresh. I appreciate this

I remember when Guns and Roses finally signed a mainstream deal, they decided to still finish off their gig at the local pub. The atmosphere was electric, the place was packed inside and outside. Everyone there knew what was going to come next.

That is one of the most iconic introductions to a song. Slash was playing it and someone said, what is that? It's great! He said he was just warming up. That is some warm up. You were then treated to Slash's expert guitar playing. He is among the guitar greats of the world. Axl Rose has a great voice, but Slash makes this song. It is a treat to watch him play it. A hard pass from me! Slash forever!

There was a thing in the eighties called stadium rock. Bands like GNR, U2, Journey, etc would fill stadiums. So picture 60,000 fans singing, dancing....lighters lit swaying to the music.

Slash is one of the greatest guitar players of all time. And when Axel isn't on drugs he's one of the best frontman. This song is classic and timeless. You should check out Slash playing for Michael Jackson's 30th celebration and for Howard Stern's birthday where he played Dream On with Steven Tyler. What's poppin'?

yo, laid back. this is the 90’s hard rock ballad. this CD was released at the same time as Terminator 2. 1989 release. This was the song that “broke” GnR into mainstream MTV rotation. GnR is very blues based, so the country comments make sense, same roots.
