Kristi Eramo O'Connell, you are a gorgeous looking woman. It's not just your muscles and figure, it's your smile, your face, and your personality. I work out at a 24 hour gym where no one talks to one another, ever. There's no camaraderie there or at any of the other gyms in town. Just watching you talk, your energy, and enthusiasm inspired me to get to the gym and get my squat and full body workout done with just a little more gusto tonight. Thank you. .
Hey Pat and Kristi!! First off THANK YOU SO MUCH for ALLLLLLL of your videos! I love how not only do you both provide an abundance of knowledge, but you guys are realistic about it and talk to all fitness levels in your videos! Since January I had made a lot of changes in my eating after doing a lot of research and when I felt that I was ready I joined a CrossFit gym where I started to take this CrossFit/HIIT class and about three weeks ago I started to go to the CrossFit classes as well! This week I started a transition of going to the CrossFit classes along with doing some accessory training and strength building. Your videos have been so helpful on this journey!!’n With Murph around the corner I watched the video on pull ups and let me tell you last Thursday I was able to do 1, 2, 2, 2 reps!!!!!!! I would love to set up some strong fitness goals, if you are able to help! THANKS AGAIN FOR ALLLLL OF YOUR CONTENT!!! KEEP ROCKING IT!!
I can’t say this enough but I always look forward to watching you two’s videos! I love CrossFit! CrossFit has been my main fitness regimen for the last 3.5 years and I think you two put out great content for viewers! I get excited when I see a new video posted on your channel! 🤗 Keep bringing these awesome videos and thank you for all the tips you give!!
Yes! I’m currently trying to learn bar muscle ups. I have been using a box and a 35lb bumper plate on top of the box to practice that kipping swing into the next transition of bringing myself above the bar. If I take the box away, I still can’t get myself over the bar without the box. I’m hoping with patience, I will eventually get it. Any tips at all would be awesome! Thank you so much and have a wonderful day!!
Fantastic video! Just an idea if you guys are interest is maybe a video of fitness while dealing with a nagging injury. Keep up the awesome work you guys!
Thank you for the AWESOME video. Videos like this help me a lot. My goal is to be ready for the CrossFit Open that starts on February 24th & improve from the 2020 CrossFit Open & 2021.CrossFit Open since I will be a Masters athlete for this years Open which I am still SO NERVOUS about today.
Awesome vlog guys, and your totally right about falling off your goals, that's a common thing for me but I keep plugging away even though it feels like it takes forever to see progress.
Just remember, consistency is key. One day at a time. One day at a time leads to a great week which leads to a great month! Just focus on each individual day!
Thanks for the video. I learned all this the hard way in the last year. It has been a great journey. Every word said here is so true. I had binge eating issues and a few injury's. Both feet first is the way I role, not really the smart way but in this case worked for me this time. LOL!. Anyways it great to have another channel where you know what you are talking about. Cheers!
Amazing video! Always like watching your content. Love writing smart goals and executing the game plan. 🙂 I have a goal of getting back to 200lbs over the next 3months, currently sitting @235lbs. Never thought of doing a smart sheet. Great idea and thank you once again for giving out advice ✌️
@@Kristi-Eramo-OConnell Thank you! I think it's awesome you respond to as many comments as you can. Keep up the amazing work! And I look forward to watching you both progress 🙂
Thanks for a great vid. I have noticed that I need to focus on Journey goals, not Destination goals. I'm older than you guys are and dont know my body as well, so recovery can be an issue and I dont know what results I can reasonably expect. It is much easier and less discouraging for me to focus on the process.
the older we get the more we have to take care of our bodys, but mixing things up and setting goals or objectives can keep you engaged and working hard !
Kind of a dumb off topic question, but here it goes. I'm teaching myself an OLT, a friend asked me to let her film me do a HSPU on the wall (heels to wall) for her friend's daughter. I can do 10-25 freestanding, but only barely made 5 on the wall. Why? ps I taught myself by doing them chest to wall.
Hey fellow Buckeyes! Love the video! Coming off a long layover and losing my mom in July, my resolution has been to just get back to the basics to being consistent and getting strong (lost a lot of strength), so far I'm doing well with consistency finishing up week 4/ 5 days a week. I'm looking to do a 1/2 marathon in May with a training plan...what's your advice on training twice a day with strength in the morning and the runs/accessory work in the evening? Thank you!
we love to hear you are getting back on your routine, and if you have the time to do 2 sessions we def recommend strength in the morning and conditioning the second session. as you get closer you may want to double down on conditioning and running and pull back on the strength!
@@Kristi-Eramo-OConnell This may be a dumb question but what is doubling down on conditioning consist of? I have an airdyne, and a rower in addition to the ability to run outside even in this frigid weather.
@@kellypreston9366 not at all!! I just mean that as you get close to your 1/2 marathon, instead of doing a strength session in the morning and the runs/accessory in the evening i would start changing things over to .. 1 session of just running and the other to be some sort of long interval work between machines ending with accessory work! and pick the strength back up after the 1/2!
My goal was abs and I did a CrossFit session 6-7 times a week for most of 2,5 years. Got there after 2 years. So I find having specific goals in CrossFit isn’t for me since you go 6-7 times a week and do what’s on the whiteboard….
during off season prob a few times a week with diff body parts, though during season its most days of the week and depends on what part of my body needs it!
I want to succeed ohs. when I go to squat with a barbell I can not, as if my waist is locked and I can not. What is the cause of this and how can I fix it ? Thank you
I treat my goals like responsibility…like going to work, paying bills, and feeding my kids. These are just things that have to be done, so I do them.
i love that!! keep it up!
