    Nice, straight review as always Rennie. People say we’re born in nappies (or diapers) and we go out in nappies. I learnt to ride on a 350 hard tail BSA and now I’ve just bought a Speed Twin blessed with Nitron suspension. What I’m trying to say is, I’m way too old and financially challenged for an MV America (not that they even come to a backwater like Australia). Keep the straight reviews coming. Cheers Rennie.

    I own Super Duke1290r and 2019 MV AGusta 800rr Dragster Pirelli edition. Triples and V2’s are awesome. MV is like a triple on crack. It is special and exclusive. I believe KTM invested in MV now. Things will only become better

      Yes, KTM bought 25 percent share in MV and the rumor is they will have full control sooner rather than later. The MV's are excellent bikes and will for sure get better. Glad you enjoy yours.

    Why does every reviewer pretend that the Brutale Rosso (or I guess from this year it's called 'R') doesn't exist?
    And sure, maybe in your market they don't have the 3 years of free servicing and longer warranty than competitors offer...but come on! Compare the Rosso (or 'R') which loses basically nothing else than 20hp (but at lower revs so it actually loses less than that) and it's still massively higher quality stuff and a more up-market bike than many of its competitors at that price!

    Hey Rennie,
    thanks for the detailed review. Interesting they put a rekluse clutch on that. I tend to agree with you on the price point, I just purchased a ‘24 Triumph Street Triple RS that has Stylema’s and 130ps, amazing motorcycle and incredible value for money imo.
    Cheers mate and keep up the good work!!

      What do you think of its value for money compared to the still far higher level MV Agusta Brutale Rosso? With its longer warranty and at least here in Europe three years of free servicing which makes it actually far better value than Triumph's far less exciting and less feelsome and cheaper-made plasticky bikes? Triumphs aren't bad at all of course, that wasn't my point, but did you consider the Brutale Rosso and what it offers compared to the Street Triple?

      @cyclenews  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pistonburner6448 Yes, you're right on the scheduled service. That would make a difference in the buyer's mind, for sure. However, my comparisons were made on the base price and performance, not the extras. And for that, I don't feel the bike is worth the price given what you get.

    MV’s are like the Ferrari or Lambo. A corvette does the same thing but it’s just a corvette. I bought my MV over the Streetfighter. MV’s like Ferrari and Lambo, almost looking at is almost as good as the ride. Pulls on your heart strings.

    • @Firestorm637

      Triples similar to a V4 but more character. The MV is very light which helps braking, acceleration, and handling. No mods necessary.

      That's great. Really pleased someone went for an MV over a Ducati. Proves MV is on the right track.

      mv is not like ferrari or lambo..... Mv is giving you subpar components on all their bikes including special editions such as superveloce serie oro which was 30k msrp if not mistaken.... Lambo and ferrari do not give you subpar components, they also give you top notch service! mv does not give you any service here in theus as there is no dealers hahahah!!!! only 8 dealers as of last month. Stop the cap, get to know the brand before stating ridiculous things.

    Excellent review! I love the look of the Dragster. In my opinion it is the best looking naked bike on the market. When I was shopping for a 2nd bike, I was looking at the dragster & the KTM Super Duke R Evo. I have 2 reasons why I picked the Super duke-1st price & technology, the KTM gives you so much more for less & yes, it’s not as good looking as the Dragster, but it is close-the KTM is a great looking bike as well. Plus, accesories are at a decent price for the KTM. 2nd, shop & dealerships support. MV AGUSTA doesn’t have enough shop support & waiting for parts takes forever. I have a friend that waited 6 months for a part for his F3. That being said, if I had money to spare I would buy a Dragster to have in the garage with the other bikes, not necessarily the America version, but SCS for sure.

    MV Agusta has more limited bikes out than regular model bikes 😂 they stuff ain’t even special, especially in the US market who they so call “love”. We are nothing but their dumbing grounds for all their unsold bikes. Dealers finally getting 2022’s and I mean truck loads and production for 2024’s start next month 😂

    • @VinnigsSpinTheBlock
      @VinnigsSpinTheBlock ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes they are forcing usa dealers to take on 8-11 bikes if they want to be dealers and it's all the old inventory. Here's the reality when you buy a mv...
      It lost value as soon as you purchased it! Not when you drive it off the lot but when you purchased it!
      As A previous buyer of a superveloce ago i put up 30k cash when it was announced and got the bike, i was told it was going to take 6months to come!!!! Now its almost three years later and it is just arriving to the states! Needless to say i canceled and got my cash back!
      Went and bought me a triumph street tripple moto 2 which has carbonfiber, ohlins suspensions, exotic paint, heated grips, cruise control, bluetooth/gps and all for 18k flat out the door.
      I'm done with mv and ktm is not helping by lying, for those that don't know ktm owns 45% OF MV not 25% due to mv lying about how many bikes they sold..... mv continues to lie. I'm not buying from a company that has a history of blatant lying. Mv crafts emotions but they darn sure do not craft reliability, craft quality with that bs marzocchi suspension for bikes that are 25k plus.
      I've been a fan of mv since 2012 with the f3 675! i'm no longer a fan anymore. Keep crafting junk mv.

    MV has certain ingredients that nothing else can match. Maybe Pierre Mobility?, will drop the rekluse and add better fork internals and brake components. I only go out on my 2015 Dragster RR when I am rested and red bulled up. Nothing. Matches. It.

    1) Not a dragster by any stretch of the imagination. 2) Looks like something out of a Japanese comic book. 3) I'd much rather have a nicely restored 1969 CL350 and $23k in the bank. Seriously.
