You can for sure wrap light colored cars with calendar films and get full coverage around corners and edges without using edge seal tape… calendar films just have a higher post heat temp. Cast is way easier for sure but many customers want the colors offered by tinybot, Teckwrap, Inozetek etc so it’s crucial to learn all the ins and outs of calendar for full color changes

If you LAY the film into recesses so there's no tension instead of stretching it into them (along with post heat) it won't lift.

Justin Pate talks about his zero stretch method and calendared vinyl is possibly the future of wrap. Calendared film IS good for wrapping cars, just need to apply a different technique! Never stop learning!

yep i legit just used acid lime green from teckwrap on a full wrap and everything you guys are saying is true. even my straight edges wanted to peel lol but somehow got it done cleanly

I disagree that calendar vinyl isn´t for Full Wrapping, Tinybot is a high performance vinyl, we in México as you will imagine, we have worked in our beginnings with the worst Chinese quality calendar vinyls that exist, with medium class calendar vinyl like Frog, Teckwrap, etc and many other brands, that´s why we now work only with Tinybot and I can tell you, to do a full car wrap is only a matter of skills as installer and I´m not the only one who says it, look for Canadian CK Wraps videos.
