Ask your mate Martin how much he’d give you in exchange for a 911. I suspect it won’t be anywhere near £48k! That would make a very interesting comparison. Frankly, I wouldn’t touch an EV with a bargepole, but I’ve been pondering a lightly used GT4 in the knowledge that residuals are likely to be rock solid, partly because the next Cayman/Boxster will be an appliance and a GT car will always retain its value.

Hang on Lee, you haven't told us the most important thing - the actual cost to swap. On paper the salesman appears to be helping you out, getting the trade-in price of your car lifted so you're only losing 10k in negative equity on the old Tincan. But how much is the new one going to cost you? If it's £130k you've got to finance almost £90k to swap, which would probably prove you were clinically insane. That, or your TH-cam channel makes a lot more than we might think. Surely it's time to bite the bullet and get out of the milk float and back into something more useful. And having watched you drive, you don't seem that interested in the vehicle performance, so why have a Porsche at all? Are badges that important to you? Oh, hang on, have you got an iPhone..? Answered my own question there, didn't I?

So you could pay Porsche £10,000 over the list price on a new Taycan to take your car in p/x and drive off the forecourt in the new one, losing another £25,000 the second you did so?
Why no comparison to a petrol depreciation i bet it would be same . Bit unfairly biased really

I'm getting caught up on your videos. First, I will say I was a little harsh on you in a previous video and I apologize for that. Thanks for this video, very interesting. Seems they tried to give you as fair of a deal as possible, but like you said doing nothing now is probably the best move. Luckily, I have $18,000 US in positive equity on my 2020 Supra. I hope you can eventually get into something different, like that 911. LOL. Going to watch your more recent videos. Keep up the good work.
