This is my dream drone, I don't know why but if i have to choose between this one and the mavic 2 pro or the phantom 4 i would choose this one, the mavic air 2, is the perfect balance between features and portability, and in some cases even better than the high end drones. It is just perfect!!

I appreciate all your DJI videos, they are some of the bests out here. I watched your video on the Mavic Air 2 and I realized it is out of production and you cannot buy it on the DJI web site, however they have a refurbished one with the combo package for sale. Even though it is older, and the technology has been surpassed, do you think it would be a good buy as it is reasonably priced? In 2020 it was the drone to have. How long would it be supported by DJI or doesn’t that matter? I also noticed your accessories website

Good info again. I’ve tried the RTH before when it was set closer which was I believe it was at about 65 feet. Glad to see they adjusted the distance farther away now. Roughly about 100 feet farther then before. If it’s that close you can obviously see the drone and not really need it to climb most of the time and wait for drone to return and land. My RTH is set to about 140 feet regularly too. The RTH with the light post in its path was interesting. I’ll have to try that a few times on an object in its path to see how it functions how good it works. Thanks for the info. Always good to see more help videos from you. Take care.

Interesting return to home feature added but wouldn't it be better if you had a choice to pick whether or not you want the Drone to stop or use APASS. If that was on then it would just go around the object and not stop.

I am new to drones I bought the Mini first and then bought the Mavic Air 2 when I got hooked on them. I not sure why the new RTH was needed when your so close.. It just seems like I am a lazy flyer for returning to me when I am so close. I like flying my drones and I run all my batteries down before I am ready to quit flying.. I can fly for over 2 hours on both.. I haven't use the Hyperlapse yet but looking forward to using it..

The function button always controlled the auxiliary light that's not new..
The default since the Drone came out was tap the button for the auxiliary light on, then off, then Auto.. it's always been that way.
Then you double press the button for the gimbal to go all the way up and then again for all the way down..
I always found that very useful and have not changed it.. but that's the way it was right out of the box..

Hello dear friend, do you know about the issue of stress cracked on the Mavic Air 2? I see many people complaining about that problem lately and many of them only having the drone for about one month or two. If possible please let us know what’s the reason for that issue and if DJI are aware that problem and what we should do if the drone is under warranty. Should DJI refund the money or replace for a brand New one. Best Regards from Cleveland. Jorge Rebelo

Interesting how it did not simply go around the obstacle or rise above is you had expected. . So this new feature seems flawed. Iit appears that you really need to elevate upon return to home. And what about telephone wires or guy wires? Do you think the Mavic Air 2 can sense these?
I am also interested how you guide the drone back to land in your hand. No one ever shows how to do this. Is that simply a return to home button? Or are you so good you can guide it back to your hand?

The RTH update seems a bit pointless. No good using it unless the direct return path can be visually confirmed as clear and, when that close to operate, it is surely simply easier to fly it back. Especially when an obstacle stops progress, anyway. I would never use it, but each to their own. What I really want is a digital zoom in single frame photos ....... 👀 . Cheers. You have a great “drone assist” channel! 👍😎

      -bigger size, more expensive
      Mavic Mini 2

I just bought mine today and I got the combo with 3 batteries but I'm wondering if the controller is going to last long enough for it to even matter that I have three batteries. How long does this controller generally hold up? Is there a way maybe I can charge it while I'm using it with a brick or something? Is there also a way to make it so the display like my phone or tablet is not pulling power from the controller? I bought a Galaxy Tab A to use with it.

Thanks for this timely firmware update video, very helpful. Love your channel. After all the firmware and App updates on my MA2, I don't see the Cruise Control option under the Tap drop down menu, I do see all other new options like Follow/FPV, Camera Settings, AE Lock/Unlock. How do I fix it? Thanks in advance.

Big like it is. Can you please tell me what's that icon between the Remote signal and satellite info and what does it do?

My Fly App on iPhone iOS13 (going to upgrade soon to 14.x) for the MA2 shows that updates are latest, however no way look like your little icon graphic with back-front-side tilt indicators. Know why that might be? I'm here in Finland.
