I've got the mavic 2 pro still loving the drone and dji still sell batteries
My Mavic air 1 broke its imu unit😫 all of the sudden imu,compass, gimbal not working..kept it in pristine condition..its like the imu unit just suddenly expired in the drybox where i kept it🤦🏻♂️
@@alexisortega7943 I haven't had a problem with batteries. I have 3 and get about 15 mins out of each of them.
You deserve many more likes and suscribers for the excellent job you continually do. This review is so complete. I liked how you explained every single feature of the Air 3, and the footage you used are precise to get a better perspective of the drone. DJI did an amazing job with the energy transferring between batteries in the charging hub.

I knew there was a new drone coming, and of course, DJI did NOT disappoint!!. Im going to be upgrading my Original Mavic Mini with this drone for more Professional use and for Hobby use. and this dropped JUST IN TIME for me to pick up before my trip to Hawaii this October. Love all of your reviews for EVERY drone you have and hope you keep your content coming. I also hope to one day link up with you and fly my drone along side you for fun and some advice.

If you already have the Mavic 3, you're good to go. The main difference would be the 70mm option.

I bit, even before I saw your review. As always, thanks for your hard work on these videos.
I started the hobby about a couple years ago at the entry level with the Mini 2. I liked it enough and spend enough time in the hobby to invest a little more. It took me a couple, three days of research trying to decide whether the proper update was the Avata, the Mini 3 Pro or the Air 3. I think for what I need it for, balanced against the price, was the Air 3 so I just ordered it, excited to try it out when it gets here (in 8 days)
How are you liking it man?
I don't get enough flight time with it, I've only been able to put it up three times since i got it five months ago. Life stuff has been intervening with free time a lot over the last few months. The things I bought it for (active tracking and waypoints) seem to be worth the upgrade for me during the initial quick looks I took messing around with it. Now I just need to get the time to start knocking out the projects I wanna do with it. @@DinoGooch
Your presentation always exceeds the product. No umms, ya knows. Keeping the narrative insync with video clips while comparing 3 to 4 DJI dones is remarkable. Carry on.

Great review. Very interested to see how it compares to the Mavic 3 video quality wise. The USBC battery charging is a massive upgrade - im used to lugging around my in car plug adapter and charger for my Mav 2

Nice review! It's funny though how this is packaged differently in different countries. Where I am in Europe, ND filters are not included in the Flymore Combo. They were with the Air 2S, but now only sold as separate accessory

No, don't rush! The sensor has become smaller, the picture will be comparable to the Mavic mini 3 pro.

Fantastic review of the new DJI Air3.I am going to add it to the flight lineup consisting of the DJI Mavic 3 Pro,Mini 3 Pro and the Autel Evo II 8K.
If you have the M3 Pro then you don’t need to downgrade..its not even as small as the air 2s..its slightly tad bit smaller than the M3 pro..why would you downgrade when you have a smaller mini 3 pro?

Congrats on possibly the best review I've seen thus far. You're the only reviewer to note the amazing capabilities of the new charging hub. Being able to draw power from the two lowest batteries into the third battery is mindblowing, and a feature with genuine benefit. Congrats, Aldryn!

Great review video... I was leaning toward the Mavic 3 Pro but now it seems the DJI AIR 3 is the better choice for my purposes. My only concern is dealing with windy conditions. I know the Mavic 3 Pro can manage wind with no problem so how with the DJI AIR 3 deal with the wind? Maybe you will touch on that in a future video??? (Again, great video! Always appreciate your input and detailed analysis!)

15:09 OMG, I am glad that they added that feature because when I had the mini, I used to make it up by myself by putting the battery with the most power in the drone and then charging the drone from the other two from the hub😂

Hi Aldryn. Great review again. I’ve searched around and cannot find the answer and no good photos or specs on the new RC-N2 controller. I’m curious since the Air 3 specs indicate it can pan does the RC-N2 controller have the second jug wheel to pan left or right ? You did not show the top of it or mention whether it did or not. I use an iPad 11 Pro so I don’t want a smaller built in screen controller. No comparison when it comes to screen size in my opinion. Thanks.

I have been wavering between a Mini Pro 3 and Mavic Classic. With the upgraded RC and other features, the Air 3 was the ultimate winner. I just laid out the cash for the Air 3 Fly More Combo and hope to be flying it by this next weekend. Sure glad I had put off a decision for a few weeks or else I might have ended up buying the wrong drone! 5.1 would be nice but I mostly use my drone footage for entertaining friends and family, not for making professional videos. 4K works more than good enough for that purpose.

My Air 3 Fly More is on its way, should be here on 14th August. While the delivery approaches I’m getting more and more confused. I mainly shot aerials and less videos, but I’m interested in 70mm for the parallax effect, moreover the Air 3 comes with a better RC, I was pretty disappointed with the feeling of the first RC with the Mini 3 Pro. What would you do? Will you return the A3 in order to swap it with M3C? I’m afraid about dropping the second focal length, but on the other hand I’ll improve by a lot video and photo quality… please help me picking one, leaving money aside. I feel that buying M3C will be like buying “old tech” for OS3+ and Old RC.

You've had the Air 3 for at least a month covering the flower fields and Del Mar fair. Thought I wouldn't need duel lens but now it makes more sense. Would've liked it to have the sensor of the Air 2s though.
Flower fields were shot with the Mavic 3 for that first shot. I labeled it on the video. That was the only Mavic 3 shot. Everything else is the Air 3.
