Hello Robert, we was in the Florida Keys in mid March and it was beautiful. We stayed at the Fiesta Key RV resort through that time and it was very relaxing. Yeah we payed the extra money for a waterfront site. We made our reservations before we saw one of your videos when you stayed there and we was worried. There really wasn't any locals there when we went so I guess we was lucky and was able to relax and have a nice quiet time there. We plan on going back next year after bike week and hope it will be the same way. Maybe we can explore these same places later and maybe bump into you, lol. Thanks for sharing this video and safe travels.
Pelican Cay....... this RV Resort has been under renovation for approximately a year. Drove through the park in December 2017 looks like it's really coming along. It's under new management we plan on trying it sometime as well.
Great video I was at the bayside grill a few days before you were there. When ever I travel to key west I stay a night at sunset cove. Its a great spot.

Robert when you went kayaking did you use your GoPro camera I just purchased a Hero 6 and hopefully I will be videoing my kayak adventures and one day travel to Key Largo, Marathon and Key West to go out on a sunset cruise like the one from your Sunset cruise video. Robert when we were at Sundowners, we meet some people that work with/at the Marriott and they said they get in trouble because they actually refer guests to go next door to Sundowners. I am sure I heard one of the boat Capt's in the background while you were at the bar. Was Dani your bartender? Compared to so many places I think Sundowners gives a fair portion and good drinks for the money. Due to my medical situation I could not drink anything but water and was allowed tap water and treated as if I was buying drinks. Some places would only let me "buy" bottled water. But thanks to you Barb was drinking her Mojitos.(sp?).

I didn't know there were any left in the Keys. The one on Niles Rd. N. Trail on Summerland Key was literally washed away by Irma. Only the pilings remain.

left side where the sand bars are.
Unfortunately when I went the ocean side was still closed to the public due to hurricane damage. I still had a great time and hope to be back soon

Didn't know there was a trail at the end of Niles road. Hopefully they will rebuild it some day
