You’re amazing, thank you for the Super Like and donation!! We’ve been having a great honeymoon and I’m looking forward to sharing how we used some points and miles to save a ton of money from it!
Yeah it's annoying but I can use both fairly easy every month cuz usually on my day off running around anyway. So I just order something from pickup on my way out to go pick it up like a couple coffees or whatever. It's annoying. Don't get me wrong but I'm finding relatively easy. Especially if you go out like once a week or whatever pick up coffee or two and you're good to go. Even like a Subway sandwich or something. Maybe I don't know. You can make it work. It's just annoying that you have to at all
@@Brianpeckin Yeah it's not really hard to get the credit. It's more of just going through the mental exercise of remembering it's there, along with all the other things I have to remember with the Amex Plat and other cards. It's a 1st world credit card gamer problem for sure haha.
@@soapa4279 yeah it sucks cuz all they have to do is make it like every 3 months or at least let it add up and you have to use before your angel feed then it would be a lot easier to use
Just got the Citi Strata Premier! Definitely going to the top of my wallet with the grocery store multiplier. And congratulations on the wedding! Those pictures are gorgeous.
A business credit card set up would be huge for us entrepreneurs out there like myself! Just got the Chase Ink Business Preferred and would love to hear your business credit card and business spending set up!
I love your credit card content/tips/strategies, they’ve been hugely helpful. More importantly, I would like to say congratulations on your wedding, and God bless you and your lovely wife.
I really appreciate your content . It has helped me a lot through building my credit up and planning my card set up for both my personal side and business. Keep doing what you are doing. There are millions of people that are genuinely looking for direction and channels such as yours truly give insight. Good content, quality videos. Keep it up.
I applied and got approved for it! I had a 790 credit score but also had 10 hard credit checks past 2 years haha. I'm still waiting for it in the mail but man am I excited for it! It will be my first citi card!
Thanks so much LaVar! You definitely should start you own channel! It's a ton of fun building a community and sharing thoughts on my favorite topics, so let me know if you ever start one 👍
I watch you all the time now that I’ve been trying to get into the credit card game. And I just bought an Andar wallet 30 min before this video was posted. 😭
Congratulations Daniel!🥂🥳 You’ve got a great setup. Really interesting to see. Would love to see a video diving more into how you run your media business and expenses.
Congrats on getting married! I would appreciate the video on business credit cards. My wife is looking to get one and we’d like to get one that includes high spending categories for her nail business but it seems like we’d get more points back just using personal cards… I’m curious to see how you use your cards
Ahh sorry I missed this! But I'm back on the East coast now haha Hopefully I'll be back in Hawaii soon! Definitely want to explore more of Oahu because I only got to see Maui and Kauai
Yeah I don't blame you about taking out the amex gold card for the moment because I also don't see the point of the two perks of credits they give us. I only take advantage of the Uber credits but I still like the card just because when I travel the 4x on eating out is nice compared to other cards. I personally love the card just because of the multipliers but if they are raising the membership price, I hope they add some better credit offer or I may have to look into something else.
Yeah I figured that I would try something different for now and then re-evaluate if/when there's changes made to the card. Hopefully Amex adds better and easy to use credits if they're going to think about raising the annual fee, but I doubt they will honestly haha
I know it wasn’t one of the cards listed but I just got approved for the Chase Sapphire Preferred 😊 Right now I can’t justify the $550 annual fee for CSR. I’m looking forward to the perks of CSP though. Congrats to you & your wife! 🥂🎉The wedding pics are adorable 🥹
First off, Congratulations!!! 🍾 I’m really at odds on keeping my Amex Gold open in the future… I already have an Amex Green card with $150 annual fee and the Bilt Card… I just think paying $250 annual fee isn’t worth earning that 1 extra point for dining and I’m not considering the credits that comes with the Gold card… 3:57
I am getting rid of the gold card also, and replacing it with the BBP/FF/FU for groceries. I am worn out with the monthly fight to mitigate the AF(masquerading as credits).
Yeah I'm not a fan of the credit game with the Amex cards. I can put up with it on the Amex Platinum because the numbers still work for me and at least I'm getting to use the Amex lounges. But the Gold card is not what it used to be thanks to the fact that there's so many other good options now!
Beautiful weddings pix, congrats! I would love to see a video on strategies for spending enough for the high SUBs (like $6,000 in 3 months). I want to apply for a business card, but I'm not sure I could spend so much so fast.
Congrats on getting married, Daniel! I definitely would be interested in seeing some videos that you do going over your honeymoon and I would also like to see a video of you going over your TH-cam business! You definitely have some good cards in your wallet for this quarter. The cards that make up the Chase trifecta are all great cards to have in your wallet no matter what time of year it is, as long as the Chase Freedom Flex has some good 5x categories for the quarter. Taking the Amex Gold card out of your wallet doesn't sound like such a bad idea. I know a lot of people are cancelling their Gold cards right now. I just got the Chase Sapphire Preferred card a few weeks ago with the 75k welcome offer and I will mostly be using it over the next few months.
Is there a video that lists good credit cards to have long term? A lot of these cards have rewards for a limited time. Maybe have one video where we talk about cards that have not only great introductory offers, but are also great long term?
As a home owner that’s the only reason why I haven’t got the BILT Mastercard 😂 as soon as we inherited a house and took on a mortgage is right when the BILT came out I really hope they add mortgages to that perk of earning back.
Since you're prioritizing rebuilding your Chase rewards balance at the moment, I guess that's why neither the Venture X or Savor One made it into your wallet? 😢 Btw, the graphics and visuals on your videos are always so helpful in your storytelling, I love how you're clearly so passionate and you dedicate a lot of attention to detail like that 🙏🏽
Yeah right now we're focusing on Chase points, but my wife is also using the Venture X a bit more. Long term she'll probably get the SavorOne card as well because I think those 2 cards are a great combo as well! And thank you so much! I really try hard to make these videos as clear and easy to understand as possible, and my editor does a great job at creating those visuals to do that 👍
Congratulations Daniel! Have a great time in Hawaii on your Honeymoon trip! 🏖 Once I am ready for another CC ecosystem, I will definitely consider getting Citi Strata Premier card. After Chase and Cap1, Citi cards are next contenders for me. Yes, Charles Schwab Debit card is fantastic and must have especially for International trips!
Glad to hear that you're factoring in the transfer partners when deciding what points to earn in the first place! Glad to hear you're enjoying the Strata Premier 👍
Congrats Daniel. Many blessings to you and your wife 🎉
Thank you, we really appreciate it!!
Congrats on the wedding! Thank you for your fantastic and insightful videos. Hope you two have an amazing honeymoon fueled by miles and points!
You’re amazing, thank you for the Super Like and donation!! We’ve been having a great honeymoon and I’m looking forward to sharing how we used some points and miles to save a ton of money from it!
Gotta admit, while I like the Amex Gold Card 4X on Dining and Groceries, I am really starting to hate the stupid $10 a month credit too.
It's just annoying that you have to at all
Personal. It's especially bad when you have other Amex card that have many other credits to deal with
@@Brianpeckin Yeah it's not really hard to get the credit. It's more of just going through the mental exercise of remembering it's there, along with all the other things I have to remember with the Amex Plat and other cards. It's a 1st world credit card gamer problem for sure haha.
I use the credits and just select pick up at fast food I already wanted to get for both grub hub and Uber eats
@@soapa4279 yeah it sucks cuz all they have to do is make it like every 3 months or at least let it add up and you have to use before your angel feed then it would be a lot easier to use
Congrats to both of you on your wedding. Thanks for sharing this as usual Dan
Thanks so much Scott, we really appreciate it!
My favorite videos what’s in my wallet.

Just got the Citi Strata Premier! Definitely going to the top of my wallet with the grocery store multiplier.
And congratulations on the wedding! Those pictures are gorgeous.
Congrats! Wedding photos looked great and hope you both enjoy the honeymoon!

Thank you so much! Agreed, he is amazing and does great work to make the videos top quality!
That Freedom Flex transition was so clean 😭 I noticed it
A business credit card set up would be huge for us entrepreneurs out there like myself! Just got the Chase Ink Business Preferred and would love to hear your business credit card and business spending set up!
Agreed!

I watch you all the time now that I’ve been trying to get into the credit card game. And I just bought an Andar wallet 30 min before this video was posted. 😭

Congratulations to you and your wife!
Congratulations to you both 🎉
Thanks so much for that!
Congratulations on the wedding, I’m interested in your content about how you create your videos.

Surprised venture x isn't in your wallet anymore!
Congratulations on the wedding!
I think a media/business spend video would be pretty sweet, DB!
Edit: And congrats on the marriage! God Bless you both.
Agreed x1000
Congratulations 🎉
I also have the exact same cards and they are all excellent on travel and rewards especially the chase unlimited and the chase freedom flex
Crazy I was just watching your amex gold video this morning now you post a vid of you taking it out …
Yes more content on how you run the biz, great video! Congrats on your marriage, I just got married last week as well 🎉 🥂

I know I'm late, but congrats!
Thanks so much Alejandro!
Daniel, since you're going to be in Hawaii, I live in Honolulu & I can show you around a bit to a waterfall or 2 plus other sights if you have time.
Ahh sorry I missed this! But I'm back on the East coast now haha
Hopefully I'll be back in Hawaii soon! Definitely want to explore more of Oahu because I only got to see Maui and Kauai

Thank you very informative! I must ask, what watch is that?
Yes please make a business credit video!
Daniel, Love the video but you do not have the link to the chase freedom unlimited in the description.
Sorry, links come and go and this offer changed locations. Go to danielbraun.me/links to find the offer under cash back cards 👍
Congrats guys hawaii is a dream vacation for wife and I
Congrats Daniel, you're a good looking couple! Another great video. You're helping me with my decisions on what I want to ditch/apply for.
What is brand of the wallet? Thanjs
Congrats Daniel! Did you make a watch me apply video for your citi strata card?

the American Express Business Gold Card went to $375 heard nothing about the regular gold card
The regular Gold annual fee increase is just rumors for now, but I believe that the rumors are credible. We'll see what happens though!
Why do you like the sapphire reserve over Capitalone venture X? Seems like the venture X has way better multipliers and is cheaper per year
Hyatt is a transfer partner of Chase and not Capital One. He talks quite a bit about using UR pts for hotel stays and Cap1 & AMEX pts for flights
Congratulations Daniel! Have a great time in Hawaii on your Honeymoon trip! 🏖
Once I am ready for another CC ecosystem, I will definitely consider getting Citi Strata Premier card. After Chase and Cap1, Citi cards are next contenders for me. Yes, Charles Schwab Debit card is fantastic and must have especially for International trips!
Can you make a video on the Robinhood Gold Card?
I just got a mail in offer for the preferred for 90k points after $4k spend in 3 months. No brainer
Oh wow that's an insane targeted offer! Definitely worth taking advantage of that!
Had to dump the Amex Gold for Citi Strata Premier last year because they are the only card with 1:1 points transfer with Eva Air. Solid card so far.
Glad to hear that you're factoring in the transfer partners when deciding what points to earn in the first place! Glad to hear you're enjoying the Strata Premier 👍
Quick question if anyone can help out, are cash bonuses automatically added or how does that work, in the savor one for example?
Yeah they're automatically calculated based on spending
Congratulations
