Yeah I don't blame you about taking out the amex gold card for the moment because I also don't see the point of the two perks of credits they give us. I only take advantage of the Uber credits but I still like the card just because when I travel the 4x on eating out is nice compared to other cards. I personally love the card just because of the multipliers but if they are raising the membership price, I hope they add some better credit offer or I may have to look into something else.

Im new to expanding on rewards and credit card benefits. I have several cards and mostly started w them to do 0% bal transfers. I coincidentally had Citi Premier (new Strata Premier), and a Citi Diamond, which I now upgraded to Citi Rewards. I just now got Citi Aadvantage Platinum because I do use AA frequently. I'd like to create a trifecta. Can I do something w those 3 cards or should I upgrade/change to new ones? I also have a business but have thought of applying for AMEX Business Platinum. I have not applied so still can do a quadfecta if possible. What are your suggestions to use which for what?
I wish I had friends/girlfriend so I can actually go on vacation without just being alone and depressed the whole time. If that were the case I’d be team travel instead of team cashback. Unfortunately that will never change as I am doomed to be alone. Almost 30 and still never had a friend or a girlfriend in my life. Every time I tried it always failed horrifically so I no longer bother trying. At this point I just have too much resentment to even go into any form of a relationship in a healthy way. Not to mention, the chronic pain I have from an injury I received from over 1.5 years ago would physically prevent me from doing anything I want to do on a vacation anyways. Instead I need cashback to pay off speeding tickets and endless medical bills that max out my insurance every year due to doctors failing to find out how to get rid of my pain. It’s like the universe or God himself wants me to snap.
I’m gonna keep this short but I felt I should let you know that God never wants anything to make you snap that’s not how he is. Sounds like you are manifesting very poorly. Great video! What recurring transactions do you have going to your BILT card? I just got one and don't know what other 4 transactions to use it for (besides rent). I've heard some people use it as a coffee card, but I rarely go out for small transactions like that and would prefer to put recurring/automated expenses on it to not think about it.
I got the card a month ago and i put subscriptions on it because it makes it easier imo like for example i use YT premium, crunchyroll,discord, then i put one more small transaction on restaurants on rent day for that bonus on points too
Ok the biggest question I can’t seem to find a good answer to is this: with a two player system with myself and my spouse, is it better to refer each other to cards one of us has to double up on each card or to have each of us have different cards? Should we next refer each other to this cards and get SUBs and referral bonuses but have duplicate of two cards with obviously the same multipliers or should we continue getting different cards to more quickly cover all our categories and get cards from different banks like AMEX, CapitalOne, Citi?

Amex is overrated. I've traveled to Europe and Asia and almost nowhere was Amex accepted. To transfer to Delta now incurs a transfer fee of some sort. Amex is also too much of a coupon book and their travel portal has heavy price inflation. Bilt 3x dining with transfer to United and Hyatt is a much better card for free.
I mean I love transferring to Hyatt and they still have that as a big advantage of their program! So to me Chase is always going to be a part of my setup while they have Hyatt. The other issuers have better spending multipliers than Chase though so I use Citi and Amex as well quite a bit
I contacted AMEX customer service through the app chat feature and asked to have a design change to the White Gold card. I was told that no such card exists, BUT that I would be notified when it’s available. If it doesn’t exist, why would I be notified when it’s available? 🤔

Yeah right now we're focusing on Chase points, but my wife is also using the Venture X a bit more. the American Express Business Gold Card went to $375 heard nothing about the regular gold card
The regular Gold annual fee increase is just rumors for now, but I believe that the rumors are credible. We'll see what happens though!

I mean I love transferring to Hyatt and they still have that as a big advantage of their program! So to me Chase is always going to be a part of my setup while they have Hyatt. The other issuers have better spending multipliers than Chase though so I use Citi and Amex as well quite a bit

Has anyone heard anything regarding the rumored white gold Amex card?
I contacted AMEX customer service through the app chat feature and asked to have a design change to the White Gold card. I was told that no such card exists, BUT that I would be notified when it’s available. If it doesn’t exist, why would I be notified when it’s available? 🤔

Yeah right now we're focusing on Chase points, but my wife is also using the Venture X a bit more. Long term she'll probably get the SavorOne card as well because I think those 2 cards are a great combo as well!
