First Porsche in AC that perfectly simulates the lift off oversteer the Porsche cars are famous for. Even ACC doesn't do it so realistically. Amazing mod.

URD usually gets like 95% of the way there for me, I’d put them usually a hair below RSS and VRC. But this car is absolutely on the level of the other teams. Fantastic. I don’t drive a ton of AC these days but this car will keep me coming back. It’s fantastic.
Agreed. I thought RSS had the GT3s sewed up with their GTM cars until i drove this. I got URDs M4 off the back of the 992 and i have to say it’s significantly better than RSSs M6. Only issue is with the 992, is that is thats good I can’t see me driving their 911 GTE now!

Man, if you can help me around with FFB settings on this car in Nordschleife, that'd be great. It's completely incoherent. Wheel too light, bumps and suspension FFB are hardcore, way too strong. Zero problem with every single car in AC, but that one... nightmarish.
Well Mike, you've sold me another great mod, so thank you (and URD) for that. The liftoff oversteer is real in this car. I just tried a lap at the Nordschleife running a zero degree rear wing and it didn't go well. Added a few clicks of aero and managed to finish the lap, but I'm going to need some practice before I put down a respectable time. Thanks again!
I personally think this mod is the best GT3 car ever (including ACCs DLCs). The braking is unreal. Love how the steering tightens especially in longer braking zones, adds so much immersion for trail braking too. I think its quite clearly more advanced than RSS’s GTMs in my opinion. Fingers crossed there’re working on the 296 GT3.
The turbot sound of this car for me seems a lot louder for me than in this video. Like it's ear piercing. Is there a way to adjust that? I'm still new to AC
Great video. Btw, your fov seems off, too close perhaps? Sideview mirror is way too big and you see more of the bottom of the car than the top. Also why not hide driver hands and wheels?

I can't seem to get a decent FFB for this car on Nordschleife man. Running a DD2 here and the FFB is just brutal, I must be missing something. All other cars (even modded) are coherent in terms of FFB but this car... Even if I go super low in terms of car-related FFB and my wheel is super (too) smooth, I get those hardcore suspension bumps or understeering that are litterally wrist-breaking. Can't get my head around this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Running at my local track there 604. It seems to not come with that skin or did I buy the wrong car? Great review as always man. Oh and Mike, do not try the Mercer V8 and other GT3 cars on GK-Montreal 2022 track. I know the cars are not meant to race there but you would have too much fun and you may have an aneurysm! 😂
Here's how I do it, when you load AC through Content Manager and load into the game, enter your car. Once you're in cockpit view hover your mouse cursor over the right side of your screen, look for the racing helmet icon. That should be the driving position settings, then just fiddle around with the menu until you get the driving position you'd like. Hope this helps!
@@SimRacing604 like you're FOV is always so zoomed in you cant see the wheel and it looks nice. Are you using camera editor app on the sidebar to adjust?
@@hitthepainting Yeah I assumed he's using the camera editor sidebar app to zoom the FOV in so much but some cars I struggle to get it right so was just curious if he uses another method or something. Thanks!

@@DKBSOB interior detailing isn’t great, as you’ve probably noticed. Also the exterior tire view looks like they’re deflated, so that would lead me to believe something is off with the tire model overall
@@SimRacing604 Yea I would agree, the interior isn't quite as well polished as the ACC version, but hopefully updates will come to fix the lights and other bugs. Overall though I think the driveabilty is brilliant and the tyre model is really good, over pressure leads to alot of understeer!

that's weird. I have this car in my AC too and it sounds the same as this video. Perhaps you bought a different car by accident? There are two Darches that look similar, however are different cars. They are the Darche Cup and Darche GT3R.
Is it bopped to RSS GT3's? If so with RSS and URD working on it we could have a decent GT3 field with utmost quality. My favorite URD mod is the Loire (Oreca LMP2), it's the perfect simracer's spec car, extremely rewarding to master.
Its almost identical to the RSS M6 and Lambo GT3 in terms of performance. I took them all around the Red Bull Ring and they were within 3 tenths of each other.
@@NickyLada Excellent, I suppose each has the upper hand on different tracks, and or would be able to balance perfectly with a few setup adjustments to compensate for their shortcomings.
@@bhendrikabel Yes, but I think if you're patient you could do a few laps and update the default setup of the slower car. You could also use a little ballast and restrictor to achieve the desired result. Sometimes the car that is slower simply has too much rear wing by default, which is so easy to change if you play against ai too.
yes sir! similar horsepower range. this car as well as corvette c8r gtd (which is gt3, basically) complements well with the rss ones (bmw m6, lamborghini huracan, mercedes amg gt)
Could you please share your setup? I raced against the AI with other GT3 cars and this new 992 is just too fast on the straights and too slow and unstable on many corners! Im sorry but in my opnion, no, this car does NOT rock...
Problem on your end if you’re slower in the corners, maybe try to get rid of the understeer with a good setup, or learn the car even more to know how to turn with it, I personally have no difficulty keeping up with other gt3 cars, either kunos’ or other mods
@@atomev8 Even if I do that and get rid of the understeer, the car is already too fast on the straights. I was lapping faster than with other GT3 cars, won even easier than before against the AI. I already have one car that needs ballast to be in normal pace on straight line (the Ferrari 296 mod I use, don't remember right now which one), I didn't need an other one! Don't get me wrong here, the car is really fun to drive. And it's mostly its oversteery moments out of corners I really enjoy. It just doesn't feel like any other GT3 category's car I 've driven before. It's way too fast for a GT3 on straights, too slow and unstable on many corners, feels more like a GT4

AMS2 does it very well withe the porsche cup 3.8 & 4.0👍

Great question. Personally, I prefer ACC’s driving physics, but the ability to drive this at any track I want gives it a certain appeal

3 tenths is a lot on a short track like the Red Bull Ring. That’s at least 0.6 at Spa. But that said. Glad it’s not even more

Less ARB front and rear, and one click less rear aero will get the undetsteer issue
