Every police officer ever: "Calm down, sir!" "Why are you being so aggressive, sir?" "Don't raise your voice, sir!"
On TV crime shows about [probably innocent] people they've caught: "He was an arrogant so-and-so, you could tell by the way he acted in the interview. He thought he was cleverer than us."
      Police officers always project.

42 people died due to a terror attack in the last 10 years, and 141 people died in Police custody for the same period. Its important to remember that as per these figures your approx 3.5 times more likely to die at the hands of the police than at the hands of terrorists..And bear in mind the police are 100% acting for your safety whilst terrorists are acting 100% to KILL you...
So either the police are very good at being terrorists or should we trust terrorists more than the police when it comes to public safety...

Not one of those obviously statements by the cop was right, let alone obvious, i mean if taking pictures of the vehicles is a security risk, then having the vehicles on display is the security risk so aren't the ones that got the fence installed with easy visability through them and having the cars parked outside the compound the real security risk, and that is something officers could actually effect, but its not about a risk now is it.... obviously!

Extended talking to the "police" plays into their hands more often than not. Matt was starting to let his emotions get the better of him towards the end of the encounter and that is exactly what the "police" want. Luckily for Matt, he knows the scope of his rights. :)

They are open to the public, that's where you would report a crime, ask questions, seek police help or advice, submit your licence if given a producer etc. Next time some one is being taken into custody they can complain that they have be forced onto private property and may be charged with tresspass. Same goes if given a producer, say you're not alowed in the station as it's private property. Idiots.

Argument from authority is such a poor argument. Like unless you have been to uni you can't comprehend a subject.
I once schooled a police officer who asked where I studied law whilst having a disagreemen about something. I informed them of the etymology of the word study. It comes from the Greek studios and later the French estudie. Literally means to read information to gain and ascertain knowledge. Nothing about a qualification. Its just to try and belittle you and make you feel like a powerless member of the public.

For some reason they all seem to be under the mistaken belief that they have the right to know who everyone is and also that their personal vehicles have some sort of right to never be filmed. Even if someone did they'd need access to DVLA to get the owners address.
If one of the people that works for me didn't follow policy as often as they did they'be be fired for gross misconduct.

So, if my dashcam captures a private number coming out of a Police Station I need to pull over and delete it? In a nutshell that's what they're implying. And we all know we don't have to. They can also STOP talking to the public like primary school teachers.

Hostile reconnaissance' is the term used within policing and the security sector to describe observation of a specific target by terrorists or other criminals as part of the planning of a hostile act on that target.
A critical aspect of detecting and deterring hostile reconnaissance at a site is knowing the threat that you face and understanding where hostiles might conduct their reconnaissance from.
