Remember those moments well. Such a frustrating thing to learn and everyone else seems to be flying effortlessly along.

Frustrating is definately the word for it! So rewarding when it does go well though

Great video and thanks for posting your journey on the foil. I’m getting ready to start myself.

Nice ! Just had my first attemps and was not able to even waterstart...this is like going back to squarre 1...but the end goal souns soooooo good that this must be worth the effort. Quite positive to be able to ride and jibe on the 4th session ! thanks for sharing.

Yeah it really is like going back to square 1, there's a lot of pain to go through until the good stuff comes but it's worth it. I've got a new video coming out soon with my foiling updates, which is much more promising.

Whats the background on this? Seems like you are learning to kite and foil at the same time... or did u know how to kite and are now adding foiling?

Hi, Yeah I learnt to kite with a Twintip first then added the foil board after about 3 or 4 years. I see you paraglide, I started doing this after about 12 years of paragliding and not much is transferable, other than weather and how the kite flies, the kite wants to fly in the same way as paraglider, so you'll progress quickly just knowing the wind window. Hope you take it up, I've never looked back

I could say the same mate. Come out for an evening session when it's on, in proper winds. I think everyone would have struggled to get up wind when you were out. You'll do alright with a bit more wind

Learning to foil has been a seriously humbling but super fun experience, onto the fourth session.
