It cracks me up how pressure washing is like the gateway drug to hours of mindless outdoor cleaning. Once you start, you just can't stop! I think I used mine for hours at the start of summer. I even pressure washed all my big landscaping rocks! I am going to do the exterior of my brick house next.
I feel the same as you do about our dogs. We have had to say goodbye to four over the past three years. It isn’t easy and you just don’t think your heart can handle the hurt again but then along comes a new sweet little pup that needs your love…
We have one now that I know was sent to us by one of our dogs we lost. He is so much like her in so many ways. It’s amazing, I just see her in his eyes… 😢❤

I donate my stuff to a place here called Center Of Hope. I agree, some places are definitely more appreciative of the donations than others. Their stores have become some of my favorite thrift spots. It’s because of all the resellers on platforms like Poshmark and Mercari. Many people shop at thrift stores for clothes and antiques and sell them online. Thrift stores know this.

We keep all our socks in a large decorative basket from target and we keep it by the door!
My son always gets one kind of sock so he doesn't have to match them. When they would wear crew socks n each boy had there own color strip n it made easier to match.

Hi, Amy Darley, another TH-camr has used Betty's bedding for her children for years. You can ask her. I also purchased one for our camper. I have washed it twice so far and I love it!! It keep the small room in the camper looking neat and put together. Hope this helps!!

I agree with you on it’s rare to find a place where all the employees are friendly. Coming from Kansas almost 7 years ago, it still surprises me that people are so rude in the area we live at in Florida. We visit the Sebastian/Vero Beach just south of us and people are nicer. A lady even waived at us from her yard when drive through a neighborhood.

I am born and raised Southern and I know what you mean about lack of Southern Hospitality these days. But I have to say the NC OBX has the most Southern Hospitality of any Southern State I’ve ever been too, especially the town of Manteo, it’s almost too much Southern Hospitality 😂

I thought excessive laundry days were over along with cooking large meals and then my children bring their babies here- so I will die doing laundry- I mate my grandbabies socks but when mine were little they were in a basket lol

Vacuuming is one of least favorite chores. I have linoleum on my kitchen floor with a runner. Then the l.r. has slate with a thick pile rug. These 2 areas are one open space but I have to switch plugs to get it all done. And then there are stairs and several rooms upstairs. It's exhausting!
