You may want to consider a home warranty. They cover a variety of things. Appliances, plumbing, electric, etc. They are all a little different but if you are having things caput on you, might want to consider them. Ours gave us $700 when our side by side refrigerator's ice maker was beyond repair. We just put that fridge in our garage and bought a French door one.
I love both of your channels. I did laugh out loud about the energy after inviting someone over. We all need a good ‘panic cleaning’ as I call it every so often 😅
If you know you know ….. about that crazy humidity . I live in Alabama and humidity is so bad and we aren’t cold yet here . Having an air unit or swamp cooler on hand is very useful indeed !
I work for an HVAC company and they are very expensive...make sure you register your unit to get the full warranty on it. Most places don't register for the customers...

Karrie0 I just love your channel. You have such an upbeat personality. I know things are hard and you sometimes put on a happy face for us but you are a pleasure to watch. I just wanted to mention-I have a glass top stove like you and it got scratched. I saw a video of someone who tried all different things to smooth it out. She ended up using 1200 grit sandpaper and it looked great. I wish I remember who it was so I could link it. But you are so handy, I though I would mention it to you and if you are brave enough to try on your stove, maybe I will as well. :)

I love your videos . I remember when I lived in Florida that happened to us one time . I wanted to cry 😢. In the end we replaced the hvac. It suck’s to have to pay for it but then we had a brand new unit and were able to save on our light bill because it was more efficient

A single parent also has a single income. When things breakdown, it’s the single parent who has to juggle the finances to make things work.
Everyone who says that their significant other is gone for days or weeks at a time cannot understand what it’s really like to be a single parent. Please be mindful of making that single parent statement.
Maybe you missed the part where I said it wasn't intended to offend ! I said it was tough because it was. Everyone's situation is different and yes while I do not know the struggle of a single parent I'm allowed to feel that it was hard and express that too ❤️

I’d have to throw my hands up and say I give up (even though my brain will never stop reminding me) because these boys definitely live in this mama’s house.
I completely understand the overwhelmed single parent feelings you experienced. I was/am a single parent. My husband died suddenly when my kids were 4 and 9. I raised them alone. They are now 30 and 25. It is very hard to do it alone. Overwhelming at times. Plus you miss that companionship. Fortunately yours was only for a couple of weeks not a lifetime.

Oh girl I understand how expensive HVAC systems can be to be fixed. Past two summers we had to get our AC fixed. We live in South Carolina and it gets hot and humid quick. We also had to get our heat fixed a few years ago. We can’t seem to kick viruses. We had some kind of virus run through around Halloween and another here at Thanksgiving. We’re hoping and praying another doesn’t hit at Christmas. Normally we can seem to evade a lot of viruses that go around. My kids are definitely bringing these viruses home from school. When I have someone coming over, I do get the motivation to get up and clean. I have no idea where it comes from, lol.
Yes! Those window a/c units work really well!! I'm a Floridian too and I used to live in a place that didnt have central air but we had window units. Those things saved our lives!!!
Oh i totally get the husband not being around and feeling like a single parent. Since my kids were toddlers my husband has traveled for work. He’s gone 1-3 weeks at a time and it’s all on me. 2 kids, 2 pets, cooking, cleaning, laundry, errands, school stuff etc it’s A LOT. But it sure does make you stronger that’s for sure. God bless all the single moms and dads out there ❤ make sure you are having your hvac system maintenance done twice a year. Also make sure grass clippings don’t gather around the outside unit 🙏🏼 Thorpe cooling and heating close to us is a good company. They are reasonably priced, always on time, and the workers are always very kind and knowledgeable.
My husband cleans and tidies up the house when he knows we are having company over. And That’s the only time he cleans the house 😂. Great video.😊😊Watching while finishing up the laundry and cleaning up the kitchen.

We moved to Ocala last year. The A/C unit is 12 years old. I keep praying it holds on for another year before we have to replace it! So dang expensive!!
I’m so jealous of the heat and humidity, it’s so much better than extreme cold we get here in Winnipeg over the winter. Most days we are colder than the North Pole. Wish we lived in Florida.

I almost accepted a job in Florida a few years ago, but my family decided we wouldn’t be able to stand the humidity. I’ve lived in California my whole life and regardless of what people think of the state, the weather is definitely hard to leave. I’m watching your video, getting motivation, while drinking a cup of hot coffee with a Sherpa blanket on a nice blustery day. You’re so right about cleaning for company, it always works.😅 I have to search for your videos lately since YT hasn’t recommended them lately.
