I finally got around to building this project. The plans i bought were so well thought out with minimal wastage, definitely worth the $5. Big thanks to Drew, great work buddy 👍
Just finished my build of your Miter Saw stand. It was one of nearly a dozen designs that I researched before I chose your design. I liked the simplicity of the build using pocket screws rather than some fancy corner joinery. Went together as you designed with the help of your detailed plan. I am adding some extra dust control ducting to take the surface dust on the top of the stand behind the miter saw and pairing it with the shop vac inside with the Dust deputy. I will be enjoying using it for the convenience of being able to move it around anywhere in my garage with the added dust control self contained. The full sheet break-down drawings make efficient use of two sheets of 4 x 8 plywood and cut the costs of the build. Thank you very much!
seriously, Fisher...How do you not have a prime time show on some network doing commentary! you're hilarious! The Fresh Prince homage had me rolling!!!!!
I have been holding off I'm getting a pocket hole jig. And now I know why. This looks like the one for me because I excelled at colors by the time I had finished kindergarten the third time. Thank you for all of your great videos.
Bro! this is gold. I purchased that same miter saw and it is still in the box. I did not want to open it until I had a mobile car made. This is exactly what I need along with the dust collection. Phenomenal
Love your Fresh Prince rendition! This miter saw station is really well done! Love all of the little compartments for handy things and how complete it is. Also, it is really nice your neighbors would let you borrow some of their trim. ha ha
Drew you are hilarious! But more importantly you are a talented wood worker with some great ideas. This mobile compact miter station is exactly what I need in my shop. I have watched so many videos and changed my mind so many times, I’m sure glad I seen your video tonight! Thanks so much for sharing.
I really liked the pencil holders but couldn’t find them in a search. I noticed you had a shop and I saw them in there. I bought them, so thanks for posting them in your shop
AS always, entertaining and well made! Now I just have to wait for my neighbor to leave his garage open, so I can relocate a couple of his sheets of plywood!
I love your sense of humor. The station came out really nice. I love the cubbies and especially a dedicated square pocket. Keep up the great work. Your channel is so refreshing with your style of comedy and bloopers while making great projects.
I've watched a bunch of different woodworking DIY videos but I really enjoyed your style and humor. I especially enjoyed the included outtakes at the end. I've worked as a carpenter for years but those things ALWAYS happen. Troubleshooting and thinking outside the box are part of the gig. Great job man!
Nice Video. Now that I moved from the single car garage over to the double car side for my workshop, I'm going to need to make this for my mitre saw! Thanks for sharing.
Hey so I bought the plans and read through them. One thing that caught my attention was the comment about only being able to put the speed square in the slot in one direction - it occurred to me that if you drill in and epoxy in a rare earth magnet in the right spot in the support that you could get around this limitation. Figured it was worth commenting in case someone else could be helped by the idea. I haven't started my build yet but the plans look super easy to follow. The last of my parts that I needed for the build arrived yesterday so planning on starting this weekend.
Wish I had neighbors that were so oblivious that I could “borrow “ sheets of plywood and siding. If you made a 45-minute video on how to circumcise a wild badger, I would watch the whole video just to get to the outtakes! Great video. Again!
I wouldn't think if it was domesticated it would make any difference. I have a dog that, I swear, is part Honey Badger, he sneaks up and tackles me and snarls at the least provocation...real or imaginary. and then he kisses me like it's nothing. They're going to make one of those ID Mysteries about me.
Drew, first off, I really enjoy your videos and sense of humor. I just purchased the plans for your mobile miter saw station, And I’m amazed at the details you put in the PDF file. I wish you were my next door neighbor, I would love to hang out with you.
I'm just starting on building out a small workshop and wish I had seen this before my current miter station build. However, I will be incorporating the square holder and cubby into mine! Love your humor!
I bought the plans for this & I’m going to start the build this weekend but let me say that your plans are so detailed & easy to follow! I’ve bought a handful of plans from others before & while I could follow those too they don’t have near the attention to detail for a wood worker of any experience level.
NIce build :D And that Bosch saw looks amazing. The horizontal grip help you being able to use it without hurting your shoulder. And without rails in the back, you don't need a hole into another dimension to fit it in your workshop. Cheers.
Great video Drew. Really love your genuine easy going, and your narration, or storytelling as I like to think of it , has a fantastic mix of humor and information . Amazing outtakes....especially the final one where your wing support gets to meet your back for the first time. Keep em coming Sir!
love these vids, more projects than you can shake a shaky stick from a shake tree at. clear and witty naration and bloopers that prove im not the only one who messes up far too regular. keep it up.
Watching while drinking my morning coffee. My job today? Exactly the same for exactly the same reasons! Those leg stands are great on site but a pain in the shop. Really enjoyed this, I'd better subscribe.
Just found your channel and now I'm HOOKED!!!! Love your videos and you HUMOR!!!! SO GOOD!!!!! and the outtakes at the end.... PERFECT!!!! You my friend got a subscriber today and a lot of "Likes"!!!!!
Drew you are the man! I’m a new wood worker and I look so forward to getting your notifications. Your humor is the best. I support you and your sponsors anyway I can!
Very nice work as always, a nice video, and a sense of humor! It goes perfectly with my morning coffee, and I get to start the day with a smile! Thank-you.
Another great project as always. I love the accessory holders, and the overall design simplicity is the best thing for shop projects. Your videos are always clear, concise and entertaining. Thank you for your work, Mr. Fisher. All the best to you and your family.
Drew, I've completed my build , I'm a novice , so this was a leap for me the , video and plans really helped , the only issue I had out side if a few frayed edges and mis calculations was I had to shim my DeWalt 779 up 1/2" to line it up with the wings, unless i didn't read something, Im also going to stain it ,give it a bit of color , I got the Kreg Miter Stop but not 100% sure I will install it or use the T- Track you used... im happy with it , and its encouraged me to make some more stuff.... Drew thank you, you made making this look easy... and it ended up being that, I ended up putting the wings on , on the floor as I definitely wouldn't been able to pick it up , thanks onto the next project......
Wow. Gotta call those of us that failed kindergarten out, huh?! I'd throw a stop sign at you if only I knew which color and shape those dang things are! Great video as always. I just found your channel and I'm enjoying your horrible (yet awesome) dad style humor. Keep it up boss!
Nice project. I have the big Hitachi C12RSH 12in sliding compound miter saw. I mounted it on top of the DeWalt 721 stand. It's real awkward to use, makes me wish I had made something like this. I like those corkscrew dog hole clamps too. Subscribed!
I'm currently in the assembly process of this build, which is super easy with the cut list and the step by step instructions. However I found one thing off on your cut list. It is the wing height. I'm aware that all saws might not have the same work piece cutting height, but I have the same saw that you do, with a 3 3/4" height (this is found on page 30 in the manual). With that being said the wing fronts backs sides etc. should be 3" instead of 3 1/4". I'm able to fix this by dadoing a 1/4" of the bottom of the wing where the hinge mounts. Just putting this out there for reference, or a change to the cut list. I absolutely love the design of this stand and would most definitely recommend trying this build. Thank you for such detailed plans and look forward to more content from you.
I have the Delta Cruzer mitre saw and very limited space as well so this was a fantastic build to see. Very helpful in additional ideas I probably never would have considered as necessary.
You have such a serious tone when you speak, you need to crack a few puns now and then. I am a master pun-isher. Now I am trying to be a useful woodworker, thank you for the encouragement.
Impressive!! Your skills, techniques, camera angles and thoroughness, jokes, editing, all of it. Very very impressive and admirable. Just discovered your videos and excited to check em out. Thanks for sharing!
So many puns and references!!! Subscribed! While I liked the Fresh Prince reference, sending it home with a little tap-tap-taperoo had me laughing out loud.
The cabinet "got flipped turned upside down..." I legit belly laughed at how smoothly you dropped this little gem.
Great wing support solution
Great build, Drew! I find your subtle humor and jabs hilarious throughout your videos. Keep up the great work!
"Unnecessary Walnut" GREAT BAND NAME!!
the outtakes are the best part of fishers' shop. it's nice to see someone on the youtubes that is a real human!
Love the Bloopers!
Just paused my current project. Purchased your plans and off to get supplies in the morning. Fathers Day build! Thanks!
Awesome! Have fun!! 😀
Dude! You’ve got the best commentary!!!🤣🤣🤣
ANNNNND. Even better are the outtakes‼️
THANK YOU FOR THE Laughs... and sharing the knowledge with us.
🙏🏼
Thanks for watching!
Those extra tool holders you made look very handy.
I don't know how I lived without them. :)
One of my favorite builds by one of my favorite builders. Can’t wait until my neighbor decides to build a dog house or leave to go to the store.
Thanks!
Your outtakes are re-enactments of how all my projects go. LOL
@paul humphreys No, Paul. Not just you.
Especially the last one
Especially the magically vanishing screw. Where do they go?
I finally got around to building this project. The plans i bought were so well thought out with minimal wastage, definitely worth the $5. Big thanks to Drew, great work buddy 👍
Great to hear!
I enjoyed the build and the humor. May have to watch it again. A great idea for the saw storage table and platform.
Huge LOL on that last outtake! I can't tell you how many times I've done things like this!

Thanks Thomas! Glad you're happy with the outcome
seriously, Fisher...How do you not have a prime time show on some network doing commentary! you're hilarious! The Fresh Prince homage had me rolling!!!!!
Hehe, glad you liked it!
love the out takes at the end. as a new woodworker at 46yrs old it makes me not feel so bad
Phenomenal
Glad I could help
Great project! Love the outtakes, nice to know that I’m not the only one that has those kinda moments.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Excellente vidéo

Your subtle humor is killer. I need this in my garage.
Thank you
Thanks! 😀
Love your Fresh Prince rendition! This miter saw station is really well done! Love all of the little compartments for handy things and how complete it is. Also, it is really nice your neighbors would let you borrow some of their trim. ha ha
Haha, thanks Bruce!
Your comments are passively hilarious and I love it! Such quality work. Enjoyed the video
Drew you are hilarious! But more importantly you are a talented wood worker with some great ideas. This mobile compact miter station is exactly what I need in my shop. Build this miter station a few days ago. plans were detailed and on point.
I really liked the pencil holders but couldn’t find them in a search. I noticed you had a shop and I saw them in there. I bought them, so thanks for posting them in your shop
You got it, man! Glad you found'em
The best and most useful wood working videos on YT. Thanks for the laughs!!
That is friggin awesome!!! I have a long stand that takes up soooooo much room, I need this!! And I agree, your outtakes are hysterical!!!
Thanks so much!!
AS always, entertaining and well made! Now I just have to wait for my neighbor to leave his garage open, so I can relocate a couple of his sheets of plywood!
Love the outtakes.....the things we never see. Thanks for the Video.
Love the outtakes, it makes me feel more "normal". Great build and gave me a couple of ideas.
Solid little cart. Good work Mr. Fisher, I really like the walnut the stopblock!
Thanks Nolan
I love your sense of humor. The station came out really nice. I love the cubbies and especially a dedicated square pocket. Keep up the great work. Your channel is so refreshing with your style of comedy and bloopers while making great projects.
Thanks, Bobby
7:48 i love the fresh prince reference lol
Wonderful. Now what is truly needed is a plan for Fisher's Flip top table with wings.

Yeah, I suppose that'd work too. Have fun with the build
@@FishersShop thanks! I'm looking forward to the build!
Wish I had neighbors that were so oblivious that I could “borrow “ sheets of plywood and siding.

Great video. Again!
Circumcise a wild badger? I’m wheezing
Geez dude! 😂🙀🤩
Wow, that was graphic. 🧐
I wouldn't think if it was domesticated it would make any difference.

...the all important pencil holder... 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 never seen these before, need to find some in Germany! Great Video 🙋🏼♂️ Michael
Thanks for watching!

What a great project and very practical with built in dust collection, tape cubby and square holder. Quality workmanship too. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks Alan!

I love the Red Green style commentary. Great videos.

Great ideas for the miter station, and I love your outtakes! Makes the rest of us feel okay for doing the same things.
NIce build :D And that Bosch saw looks amazing. The horizontal grip help you being able to use it without hurting your shoulder. And without rails in the back, you don't need a hole into another dimension to fit it in your workshop. Cheers.
Great project! and I love your dry sense of humor! well done Sir
Thanks! Exactly what I was looking for. Love your work and sense of humor. Getting your plans now.

Dang it, another great design I need. Adding to my endless list of projects
I love the out takes - since I have done very similar things.
Drew I've seen a lot of miter station videos. I'm going with yours. Definitely getting the plans when it comes time to set up my new workshop.
Right on
That's an excellent solution I will add to my small shop. I like the pencil holder and the speed square. Your videos are such fun to watch
Thanks Andrea!!
Nicely done with a great sense of humor.
I love humor in you videos. I ordered one plan earlier today. I think I will be getting this one too.
Thanks, Pamela. You'll enjoy this one for sure.

Great video. Love the outtakes at the end. Was waiting for you to start saying man down when the board fell on you. We all do some crazy things.
i hate that you don't upload more often, but i wouldn't want you rushing perfection! keep up the great work!
Thanks. It takes a LOT for each video. Plus this is just a hobby.
Sir your videos are outstanding beginning to end, I genuinely enjoy your humor.
Thanks!
The take outs are great. Damn plywood is always attacking when you least expected. 🤣😂🤘🏼
Wow. Gotta call those of us that failed kindergarten out, huh?! I'd throw a stop sign at you if only I knew which color and shape those dang things are! Great video as always. I just found your channel and I'm enjoying your horrible (yet awesome) dad style humor. Keep it up boss!

Nice work! Funny out takes. Glad I'm not the only one!
Thanks for watching!

Awesome design. A definite future project! Thanks!
I have the Delta Cruzer mitre saw and very limited space as well so this was a fantastic build to see. Very helpful in additional ideas I probably never would have considered as necessary.
I bought that same saw, specifically so I could use it flush against the wall. Very similar to the bosch he bought.
Awesome design, the best I have seen.
Enjoyed the video. Well thought out design. Commentary is hilarious.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I have built cars & guns but just getting into wood working. GREAT Videos!! Very Professional and entertaining. Thanks
Love the videos, especially the outtakes. Just reminds me we’re all human.
Buying your plans.
Awesome! Thank you!
Nice Job as always !!!! You must have Great Neighbors !!!
Another great design, and a great video, Drew! I caught one mistake, though. Walnut is NEVER unnecessary!
You have such a serious tone when you speak, you need to crack a few puns now and then. I am a master pun-isher. Now I am trying to be a useful woodworker, thank you for the encouragement.
Beautiful
Rigid tools
Thanks man
Impressive!! Your skills, techniques, camera angles and thoroughness, jokes, editing, all of it. Very very impressive and admirable. Just discovered your videos and excited to check em out. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks! 😃 Glad you like them
This guy is good love the humor in his videos and his build are not bad either lol keep it up but you need your own tv show that would be great
So many puns and references!!! Subscribed!
While I liked the Fresh Prince reference, sending it home with a little tap-tap-taperoo had me laughing out loud.
Great idea and clever craftsmanship!
