I’ve always wanted my own cornhole board set but I also wanted to make a revolving ladder ball game. My brother introduced me to this game and it's a ton of fun! Since I’ll need a way to keep score while playing the games, I figured I may as well add a scoreboard to the list too.
What I thought would be really neat though is if I could package all the pieces for everything inside the cornhole boards and make the entire thing a self-contained, mobile, easy-to-store yard game set. Well… that’s exactly what I ended up doing and it turned out great!

Thanks for watching! Here's the answer to a couple questions I've been getting...
Q: Why not just use the CNC to cut the hole?
A: It's actually faster for me to make a template like I did. Setting up the boards on the machine and zeroing takes time. Plus if I ever make more cornhole board sets in the future, I won't need the CNC at all.
    Q: Where's the flathead screws??
A: Haha, they're there! I just didn't draw attention to them. I actually used quite a bit in the little toggles that hold the pieces within the boards.
Q: How much does it weigh?
A: The final weight with everything inside, including the cornhole bags, bolos, and measuring string is 63lbs. It's heavy, but not too heavy.
Q: Can you add wheels to it?
A: Potentially. I briefly looked for a style of caster that wouldn't interfere with the cornhole game but didn't find a design I liked. The wheels would have to be detachable, I think. A couple D-rings and a shoulder strap might help, but if it's too heavy for you, just don't pack all the pieces in there.
    Q: Can I marry you?
    A: No.

Just recently found your channel and wanted to comment on the excellent content. Fun and funny, your advertising is tasteful, short and doesn’t take away from your video, and I think most importantly, your prices for your plans are very reasonable at $5. I feel like I would readily purchase all of them to support your work and not feel like I’ve spent a ton of money. I also appreciate the dedication to woodworking for those that can’t afford machines like a CNC. So many channels start humbly and teach so much then divert to great things (like CNC, high end precision machines, Etc) as they gain sponsors that I’m sure is great for the content creator, but mostly leaves projects out of reach for people like myself. Excellent work.

Hello Drew, great video as always. Informative and I really enjoy your sense of humor too. I have made a half dozen cornhole board for my friends and family and found that making a template for the center hole would save me some time, Like you I used a high quality and expensive protractor and made my template out of mdf board the same width as the board and measured exactly where the hole should be (9” from the top). I then clamp my template to the bottom of my plywood top and use a trim bit plunge router to make my holes. For the cutting the leg angles, I found a gal can of paint lifts the top of the board very close to the regulation 12” height the boards need to be. I then lined up the assembled leg against the side of my bench, traced the inside and cut the piece of my miter saw. I always learn a lot from your videos. Cheers.

Drew, a heat gun (on low temp) or a hair dryer works wonders for removing labels from wood or cardboard boxes. Once you get the hang of it (as in not overheating the label) very little residue will be left behind.

Drew, this is not only a great project leading up to summer, but you executed it with minimal use of your CNC. That shows you understand your target audience is likely a home DIYer. Now, I made a set last year and used a 6" hole saw, which I highly recommend, and the score numbers can be made with rub-on transfers. I bought pre-dimensioned lumber and didn't even use my table saw.

I agree about the CNC in that the average viewer can't really relate to it. But the human skill in design and resultant high quality workmanship is what it's all about for me. (Also appreciate the humour.) Thanks for another great video.

Always fun to watch your stuff. A heat gun works wonders on those stupid labels.
