  • While it began with a significantly vibrant kick-start, things settled a few days in to the 54th edition of the highly-anticipated Paris Air Show. Displays were shown and products were flown, and aircraft manufacturing giants like Airbus and Boeing certainly walked away with expected substantial orders to add to their growing books.
    With big events like these, it always seems ot be a competition between the two giants to see whose products proved to be more popular. So who won higher stakes this time?
    Let’s look at the results and perform some analysis of the outcomes for today’s video!

    If it wasn't for Air India ordering 220 Boeing aircraft, the better comparison would have been Airbus VS Embraer, as Embraer had a very good airshow.

    It s almost impossible at this point for Boeing to ever overtake Airbus. Too many problems with the Max 8 and Dreamliner while documentaries also didnt help. On another note the 350, 220 & 320 are just continuously winning

    @mooch2oh6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    If it weren't for that historically massive Indigo order the order totals would've been about the same. Congrats to Airbus on being the one to get it, but their order backlog is getting so inflated they're going to have a tougher time getting new orders soon because of how much longer customers will have to wait to get theirs than with Boeing. Not a bad problem to have, but I'd expect Boeing to start taking the lead soon when it comes to orders in the next couple years (assuming nothing crazy happens)... Mainly due to the much longer wait times to get new planes from Airbus. Anyways, in the end the narrative for this airshow pretty much came down to that one big order.

    FYI...The avg delivery wait time for an A320 is approx 6yrs. The only way to move up in line is to buy more planes. Many airlines have historically done this in order to start seeing deliveries sooner, only to either not exercise their options, or cancel some of the remaining deliveries. Indigo needs these A320's sooner rather than later. Not saying that's what their plan is, but take away that 1 order & Airbus & Boeing are neck & neck, a difference of 5 aircraft.✈️✌️😉

    Is this voice an AI? How the heck do you publish 150 Articles every week, is there AI involved?

    • @adoatero5129
      @adoatero5129 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      - “How the heck do you publish 150 Articles every week”
      By writing a lot of superficial articles, without doing much research for them. One way to do that is to take press releases from aviation companies, and edit them to look as if they were original content from you. It's dishonest, but gives you a lot of content with little trouble. A more honest way would be to just publish the press releases as they are, and label them as press releases (that's what high-quality aviation sites do).
      Another way is to divide subjects to smaller and smaller pieces, and write individual articles about all of them, and do your best to make each individual piece to look like a big thing, as in "Explained: Travelling With Ice Hockey Equipment" instead of "Explained: Travelling With Unusual And Large Equipment, or "Did You Know: Some UK Universities Offer Degrees That Include Pilot Training" instead of "List of Universities Offering Degrees That Include Pilot Training". Notice also the fluffy words meant to spike up your interest: "Explained" and "Did You Know". One more funny example: “How High Did Concorde Fly?”. Yes, that’s an individual article on Simple Flying :-).
      Endless Top lists are yet another way. The aviation industry produces a huge amount of all kinds of statistics, and presenting those statistics as a competition can make them look interesting enough to people who don’t actually care. Some examples: “Top 5: What Were Spain's Busiest Airports Last Year?”, “Ten Longest Routes From Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport”, “Sitting Comfortably? These Are Allegiant’s Longest Routes In July 2023”,
      There would be more to say about the matter, but I have things I have to do :-).

    They choose to take shortcuts in order to compete with Airbus A320 aircraft and deceived the FAA and the public. Because Boeing it's a private company, unlike Airbus, profit is a big motivator which could lead to similar disasters in the future. I have a much greater level of assurance when I step into an Airbus plane knowing it was designed by multiple European countries with very transparent government oversite.
