12:38 "can make flying more affordable"... you're kidding, right? Like airlines are going to pass savings to passengers or play some sort of "make it up in volume" pricing strategy? Won't happen.

As someone who works for Envoy (MQ) its great to see that we are getting more E175. One other thing is that we are also getting 5 older but still valuable E170's most of which we have gotten from BA city flyer and Republic Airways (YX). So in the next few months to year 12 new planes in all!!!!!
If you have to bend over that heavily to fabricate a "loose" for Airbus, I'd say all is well in Europe :D And no, I am not a fan of the 10 abreast setup at all. But I think it has nothing to do with Airbus. It rather is up to us consumers to let the carriers know how we feel about those. Prices are too high right now anyways and before long, carriers will notice. Concerning the 777X - yeah, well, the obvious widebody in the room (muharharhar) is the fact that with a Boing airliner these days, you never know when or if it will actually come. And chances are, that it won't fit the business model when it arrives. Carriers moved away from jumbos for a reason. Reusing them in a pinch, ok that simply is common sense. Investing in a fleet of new ones...that would be unwise. Honstly, I have no idea what Boeing was thinking with this plane. Then again, I do not understand most of what they do nowadays.
Placing orders might give you a little media but if you already own the largest 777 and A380 fleet, then it is foolish to order more, Also they have already ordered many A350s and 777Xs already. Talking about the Indian Market. Most people still prefer Gulf Carriers over IndiGo because not everyone is broke nobody wants to be snuck in a seat with below average legroom. Indigo doesn't offer that much routes to the west either. But Emirates and Qatar does. Not placing orders doesn't mean they will fail. Yeah that wasn't new news other than they tried to make a show of finalizing of what was already done. The 10 777's were already on Boeings order book.
I wish I could have been there. Almost all my favorite planes were there. Also indigo... They now have a huge fleet!!! Also I totally agree with you about the a350 on Philippine Airlines. Great video Coby! You’re the biggest winner of the show in my opinion! But seriously this is all fabulous news for the aviation industry especially after a few years of nothing but bad! Yay 😁 🎉🎉
Air Caraibes already adopted 10 abreast A350 and yet no complains from passengers or bloggers. Yes, they operate half the distance, but passengers will adopt. Especially with Airbus widened cabin they’ll take some space from the aisle and together with extra 4 inches of the cabin no major discomfort to be expected. Also, it will take time until others will consider adopting 10 abreast, even some 777s are still 3-3-3.
Delta I think is the only remaining 3-3-3 777 operator, and they've said they intend to stay that way due to passenger complaints about the 3-4-3 777 cabins. Delta can pull it off because the Delta One suites are a marvel of packaging efficiency allowing them to have more premium seats than other carriers.
I hope Planespotters start making the distinction between NPS A350s vs non-NPS, similar to how they differentiate ACF A321NEOs as A321-2..NX, whereas A321NEOs with the classic door config don't have the NX suffix
I am from a developing country like Philippines. Most of us are really frugal and wouldn't mind 10 abreast smaller seats, given the seats are cheaper than other carriers by at least $50 on a long haul/ultra long haul flight
Airbus took full responsibility of the paint issue and offered a solution. What airbus did not accept was the fact that Qatar grounded all a350 claiming airworthiness risk 5:02
If the 737 Max needs software to compensate for being too low for bigger engines is it not time for Boeing to design a replacement using new technology like on the 787.

@ 10:00, thank you for saying "hypotheses" rather than "theories". Most don't know the difference.
I do
High interest rates for lease costs for what is an expensive 777x cost
Considering PW the Airbus option by PW is just a bit bigger and powerful then the one from the competion, this might have made the deal.
Bingo! Exactly what I was thinking. GTF is the better choice simply because of the power it provides. So Leap didn't even have a chance.
Excellent work! Such a good analysis. Will we see you in Dubai in Nov?
I love the new A330
Looking forward to the other Paris Airshow videos.
@@mrvwbug4423 sia also has a 3-3-3 seating config for their 777s
7:32 - that engine installation looks like the engine they went with was shorter than the pylon was designed for.. 😁 It looks even weirder at 6:49.
Small correct, the company securing 20 A330neo is spelled Avolon not Avalon
YESSSSS, FINALLY ANOTHER AIRSHOW
omg the displate collab was well deserved bro, Amazing posters and i hope you keep the merch rolling
🎉200k🎉
No news from Bombardier?
I hope Planespotters start making the distinction between NPS A350s vs non-NPS, similar to how they differentiate ACF A321NEOs as A321-2..NX, whereas A321NEOs with the classic door config don't have the NX suffix
I am a Airbus Fan but still like Boeing 😇
Anyone noticed the F86-Sabre at 11:58 ?
What about Comac?
I am from a developing country like Philippines. Most of us are really frugal and wouldn't mind 10 abreast smaller seats, given the seats are cheaper than other carriers by at least $50 on a long haul/ultra long haul flight
Airbus took full responsibility of the paint issue and offered a solution. What airbus did not accept was the fact that Qatar grounded all a350 claiming airworthiness risk 5:02
You make awesome informative videos..top notch!
Great stuff! You should have made a honourable mention at the end for yourself and your fans 😁
Your presentation style has massively improved. It seems like you have learned to relax or something.
xanax or something
Oh, and turn that turbofan into a hoodie as well (colored fan on white and black - zip front please).
If the 737 Max needs software to compensate for being too low for bigger engines is it not time for Boeing to design a replacement using new technology like on the 787.
you should say the same for airbus! design a replacement as well. it doesn't matter if the 737max needs software to compensate for being too low for bigger engines

"United has over 100 737 Maxes on order" they have over 400 on order! That's a much bigger number
haha fair enough
That is still over 100
An order is one thing, actual delivery is another.
@@jeremypearson6852 what? You don't think they're going to get them? They're picking up like 2-4 planes a week from Boeing...
@@jeremypearson6852 True but United is phasing out their remaining 757 fleet. They're going to need to upgrade quite a few planes.
No 7x sales?
