    Note; All of the upgrades helped out tremendously for making the vehicle a little more off-road friendly, But ultimately speaking, it needs to be 6 wheel drive in order to really make a difference off-road.
    Question's and comments are always welcomed, and many thanks for checking out the video.

      Thanks man 😊👍
      The dump truck definitely performs way better, But ultimately it needs to be 6 wheel drive in order to make it worth a darn,🤔😕 These cheap RC Construction Equipment manufacturer's, really need to step up there game,🤔 I mean, it probably wouldn't take to much to put a MOA axle on the front of the truck,😕 especially for a big RC manufacturer, and the prices that they pay for bulk material,🤔 prices get extremely cheap, when you're buying parts by the Boxcar,😕 so in all reality, it probably wouldn't cost them anymore then about an additional $15-30 buck's per vehicle,in order to make them Six wheel drive,🤔 And that would seriously increase their overall sale's,
      Yep! These guys definitely need to step up there game.
      😊👍
      Much Appreciated as always for your Great Compliments, and for checking out the video my friend.😁😊👍🤜🤛

    Thanks for taking the time to make this detailed video. You've given us lots of great mods to try with our own trucks, and it's really appreciated!
    Suggestion: Perhaps in the future, instead of making one long video that is sped up, keep it at normal speed and just break it into several shorter videos, so that the information and techniques you're giving are not lost in trying to understand what you're saying. Again, it's just a suggestion. I am a fan of your work, and look forward to seeing (and implementing) your next rc mods.

      😊❤️🙏 Can't thank you enough for your Outstanding Compliments Wolverine, I greatly appreciate it my friend,😊
      As for separating the video into a short series, or splitting it up into two, or three shorter videos;🤔?
      Well this is a tuff one to explain, 😕 but try to bear with me,🙄👍 I did actually explain this exact thing on the original length version of this video, but it was eating up too much time.😂
      Alright here we go;
      There's a few reasons why I do that, #1 I live in the back woods of northern Michigan, so my internet service is next to nothing, I have to use a "portable" AT&T WiFi hotspot device in order to get any kind of a signal,🙄 and it's terrible at that,😕 (and I have absolutely no cell phone signal period)☹️ The internet signal on the hot spot device is barely good enough to answer comments with,😕 and trying to upload a video from my house literally takes day's... Day's and day's,🙄☹️ No Bull bleep!
      It takes up to 72 hours to upload a 15 minute video in 720p,😕 (fyi I film in 1440p,
      But lowering it down to 720p, ease's up on the upload rate)🙄 That is at least, if I were have to upload a video from my house,👍
      So when it comes to uploading videos, I literally have to drive 15 minutes into the nearest town, with the at&t hotspot device, and sit in a parking lot of the local grocery store for the entire duration of the upload,🤔 which can take anywhere between 1-6 hours, depending on the video length and picture quality,😕 1440p takes longer than 1080p which takes longer than 720p, I generally attempt to upload in 1440p whenever possible, but the longer videos such as this one I'm generally forced into 720p,
      Anyways, the moral of that story is that I have to drive into town to upload, And that takes a lot of personal time, as well as Fuel for my vehicle, especially in the winter months when I have to leave my vehicle running while I'm uploading,🥶 which equals up to a lot of kah' ching's 💸at the gas station, ⛽🤔😕 just Peeing away money on gas, and on the weekends... For get about it, the gas prices always go up just before the weekend,😕 the town that I go to for uploading is a "drive thru town" on the way to Traverse city mi, So gas prices always "mysteriesly" jump up every weekend,😂
      "I usually buy gas in the middle of the week to avoid that situation"🙄😄 (Fuel & personal time) was the focus,👌 which is; I have to sit in a parking lot, that's 15 minutes away from my house, for hours at a time, for each video that I upload,
      😕 Which equals a couple of trips to town, and several hours of my time, and at least 20 gallons of gas for my vehicle, 🙄😕 (which doesn't bother me, it's just something that I have to do, in order to upload a video, and I just needed you to take that into account, to properly understand the method of my madness)😂
      Second reason is much shorter; Whenever I split a build video into a series! The videos just don't get any views, 🤷 "shoulders shrugged"🙄 I know that it's not about the views, but at the same time it's like why did I bother going through all the effort ? 🤷
      For instance; this video consisted of 38 qty 25 minute videos, Which all needed to be edited,🙄 and that takes time,😕 it seriously took me a week to get it all edited into one full length video, And that's straight time working from home, which means that I worked on it darn near around the clock ⏰ from the point of finishing the build, until the day of uploading the video,🤔 😕 And I gotta tell you, I don't really make enough money from a video, to even begin to pay for my personal time.😕
      That being said, 🙄 "Single" full length videos, Ultimately get more overall viewing time by far, vs a video series,😕 I've got a couple of different build & other types of video series, that are a perfect example of that in my library.😕
      Unfortunately when it comes to doing a "Video series" in general, Most people out there only care about the beginning of the video, and the end of the video, and they fast forward through the rest, or skip portions of the series entirely, until they see what they wanted to see, and that's the truth! 😕 Which also means that it's safe to assume, that those vary same people, most likely skipped every single one of the video commercials along the way,🙄 "which is just a side note"🤔😕👌
      Ultimately speaking about earnings from videos, if people don't watch at least 15-20 second's of each commercial, the person who did the video receives absolutely nothing for it,😕
      "Overall Views" don't really account for anything on a monetary basis, Watching 15-20 second's of each commercial is what goes towards helping out the channel with the Hopes of earning something for their time and effort,😕
      Like this reply for instance;
      As much as I Truly and Most Sincerely Appreciate Your Awesome Compliments, It's still taking up personal time to answer you, which I'm not complaining about, I love talking to sincere people, and I don't put any mind into the time it takes for replying,😊❤️ but so far on this comment I started typing at 1am it's currently 3:58am and I'm not quite done yet, and I have to do some outdoor work tomorrow starting at 8:30am,😕 which means that I might get a chance to take a short nap before hand if I'm lucky,😂 Which I don't mind once again, because my channel comes first, The outdoor work that I do is on my own,as well as on the side, so I get there when I get there, which shouldn't matter since I don't leave until the job is done,👍 anyways, Stuff takes time, 🤷😄⏰👍
      "As well as gas for uploading videos" and Single full length videos are the only thing that come close to helping compensate for all of that.😕 Single length videos get more viewing time overall, plain and simple, the majority watch the beginning,then fast forward through to whatever they want to personally see, and then to the end,or bail out of the video entirely, But the video still got viewed,🤔😕
      If it was a series, only parts of the first and last video would get viewed,🤔 and the other videos get skipped entirely,😕 Which once again makes it more advantages for keeping the video in a "somewhat" full length form.🙄😕 Shrugging my shoulders again,🙄 sigh! It's a lot of things to take into account really,😕 But that is the ultimate conclusion,🤔
      My internet sucks, I have to drive 15 minutes into town to upload videos, 15 minutes there 15 minutes back, plus parking lot time waiting for a video to go up,
      Video series cost me 3-4 times more time in total, along with fuel ⛽, And at the end of the day it feels like a Complete Waste of time, Because the majority of my bulk viewers don't care about the videos in-between on a series, all the care about is the "before and after"🤷🙄
      Now that's just the majority Wolverine, That doesn't include the sincere people who I converse with on a regular basis in the comment area,😊👍❤️
      According to my TH-cam stats, 94% of my video views come from outside sources, such as "Google searches" and 6% of my views are from actual channel subscribers,😕
      Which also kinda tells you something considering that I have just over 4k subscribers, and only 6% of them are actually watching my stuff,☹️ Which is another argument towards producing a single full length video vs a series.🙄
      😄 Ya... I've got several reasons behind the method of my madness, 😂 and if you were to put yourself in my shoes, I'm sure that it would make perfect sense to you as well.😊👍
      So there you have it Brother, that is the reason for not doing a series,😄 lol
      As for speeding up the full length video by a pinch or two, 🤔 well! Gotta do what you gotta do in order to squeeze that much raw video into a reasonable amount of viewing time,😕
      And it also thins out the people who may, or may not, be able to do a project like this all together,🤔😕
      If you truly have what it takes, then all you should need is the "general idea" of how, and what, needs to be done,😕 am I right ? Like myself for instance, Nobody shows me how to do what I do to modify my RC vehicles,🤔😕 I come up with all that nonsense on my own starting from scratch, 😕 and if someone is truly interested in the project, and has the natural ability to pull off such a project, then everything that I showed them on video "even at somewhat a faster speed" should be more than efficient.😊👍
      And if they missed something along the way do to the slightly faster speed, Then I suppose they'll have to watch the video again.😄😂 Ha ha ha lol 😆🤣 Which really makes up for the One's who skip videos on a series and fast forward through videos to only see what they want to see.😂 lol You see ?
      There is.. a Complete method to my thinking after all. 😁👍
      Sorry for the long reply, But it was really the only way that I could convey my reasoning in such a manor that you and other people reading this would understand.😊👍
      Currently 5:39am and I had to delete a bunch of my reply because it was too long to send,😂 Anyways again... Many Thanks for your Kind words my friend.
      Lol that rhymed, and I probably think it's funny just because of the time,😵 slap happy! 😂 Thanks for your Awesome Compliments and suggestions Wolverine,😊👍 and many more for reading this nonsense 😂
      Have a great weekend my RC Brother.😁👍🤜🤛

      😊👍 there's a ton of orb footage throughout the entire video, but I only highlighted a few of them, and if it wasn't for the high speed video, we would be able to see much more of them,😕 And for the skeptic's who might be reading this comment, The orbs that are seen on my videos are Not Bug's or dust particles floating through the air, They are what they are,😕 and they affect me directly when ever they make an appearance, it's like my brain skip's a beat when they move through,🤷
      And it sometimes makes me stumble on my words as a result, It's notable, and I've proven it several times over and over on camera,🤔
      And it might sound hard to believe, but I also seem to get sudden ideas on how to make stuff work,or custom fabricating stuff when they are flying by on camera as well,🤔😕 Totally weird, but yet seemingly true from what I've witnessed on film,🤷 For instance; on this video towards the end of the video, (when I'm relocating the steel bar's in the front of the truck) I'm sitting there on video trying to come up with ideas on how to make the steel bar's fit in the new location over the front wheels,🤔 and just before the solution hits me, you can see an orb fly towards the camera and myself, and right then at that exact moment I get hit with the idea of heating up the posts, and bending them forward to accommodate the steel bar's,😕 talk about weird, 😄 But at the same time, I can't deny the coincidence.🤷😂 lol totally weird.
      And speaking of "Bug's" I'm lightning⚡ fast, and I have a very sharp and quick eye, that mosquito that passed through on camera didn't stand a chance, He was dead before he knew it,😂 That being said, I have no problem seeing bug's flying around, But the orbs on the other hand get missed 98% of the time, and I don't get a chance to catch them until I'm editing the video,🤔 But there is also the rare occasion that I can honestly see them with my naked eye as they fly past, But it's like one of those moments when you question yourself as to what you just seen,🤔 and without the ability to rewind, pause, and zoom in, on what you just seen, it's just to difficult to tell,😕 which is the nicest thing about having them caught on camera, I can not only rewind, pause, and zoom in, but I can also change color filters to make them stand out a bit more.😄👍👍
      Anyways, go back and check out that spot towards the end of the video where I'm relocating the steel bar's, and check out the orb in correlation to my sudden idea for solving the mounting problem.😊👍
      Otherwise; Many Thanks for your Great Comments Terry, you definitely get points for paying attention to the video my Brother.😊❤️🤜🤛
      Edited comment; I had to go back and look at the video for the orb time stamp, it's at 1:04:42 and I think that there may be a few extra smaller orbs that cruise past just before hand.😊👍

    Which, is better and more powerful on carrying and tipping dirt...etc?

    • @R.C.A.D.
      @R.C.A.D.  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What.. like between the Laegendary Tipper & the Huina 1582 Tipper truck ?
      If so then I would have to say.. that you get what you pay for 😕 The Laegendary Tipper is a great truck for the price, and it can carry around 7 lbs of weight in the bed, and it seems to have a bit more low end power vs the Huina 1582, and the Leagendary Tippers Dump Box Control's are a little bit more user friendly.
      Drawbacks of the Leagendary Tipper; non proportional steering & non-proportional throttle, and the Cab on the truck is kinda plain Jane,😕 And the Battery pack for the Leagendary Tipper is kinda small,🤏 It comes with 2 qty, (Rechargeable) two "AA" size, 600 mAh 7.4v 2s lithium battery packs, which will run the vehicle for about 45 minutes per battery,🤔 Note; the battery tray is quite small, so there's no hope of squeezing in a Huina style 18650 2s Lipo pack,😞
      But otherwise it's a good little truck for the money.😊👍
      Huina 1582 Tipper truck;
      All metal cab, All metal body, and The truck's cab has see through windows,& a full interior.
      The Huina 1582 is also "Fully Proportional" Proportional Steering & Proportional Throttle, And (According to Huina) it can carry close to 50 Lbs of weight in the bed,
      As for Power; it's not bad, the Leagendary Tipper seems to have a bit more low end snap, But the Huina 1582 is rated for more weight,🤔 So that should tell you something about that.😕
      Huina 1582 Dump Box Control's; Not so user friendly, The Tipper box control is located on the right stick of the Transmitter along with the Steering for the vehicle, Steering is obviously Left & Right on the right stick, but the Tipper box is actuated by moving the Right stick Up or Down,🤔 and that can be a Royal Pain in the Rear, It's very easy to start raising the tipper box, while simply trying to steer the vehicle around,🙄😕 and that can be a bit of a inconvenience.
      Huina 1582 Battery pack and battery pack tray; The Huina 1582 comes equipped with 2 qty (Rechargeable) 18650 style 7.4v 2s Lipo battery packs, which have a bit more longevity vs the Leagendary Tippers batteries,🤔 and the Battery Tray on the Huina 1582 is quite spacious,😕 I wanna say, that you could probably fit Both of it's included 18650 battery packs, in the battery tray, at the same time,😦 the battery compartment is roughly three times the size, of the Leagendary Tippers battery compartment.🤔
      As for which is the Better vehicle ?; Ultimately It's just a matter of personal preference, and how much money you want to spend for a RC Tipper truck.😁👍
      Vehicles base chassis;
      Both vehicles basically share the same lower chassis, "other than a few minor cosmetic differences" they are basically the exact same.
      Ultimately speaking at the end of the day; Both vehicles are Terrible off-road in stock form, and they both do quite well on hard packed or paved surfaces,
      "But in stock form" the Huina 1582 is a little bit better off-road vs the Leagendary Tipper,🤔
      At least from what I have observed.😕
      Modded Leagendary Tipper;
      It does better off-road vs either of the two vehicles in stock form, but it's still not all that,🤔 Ultimately these little trucks need to be Six Wheel Drive, in order for them to perform halfway decent off-road.😕 Which means that my off-road mod definitely helped out with it's off-road capabilities, but it's Not a Cure All! 🤔👍
      Hopefully my rambling was helpful for you Timothy, and if you use my words in this reply for Some sort of online vehicle review, Please Remember where you got the Information from.🤔 (Jim C. From the R.C. After Dark channel on TH-cam)😁👍

      As for 1582 upgrades;
      Unfortunately there's not to much available for these things,🙄 But there is one place online, who does sell a few items for the 1582,🤔
      Although I can't remember what the name of the place is,🙄? Hmm it's like Wowebox or something like that,🤔 They had some pretty good looking tires, amongst other things for the Tippers, The only problem with this place, is that it's in like Sweden or something, and shipping is a logistical nightmare,🙄 they will only ship the item so far, and then it's the purchaser's responsibility to get it the rest of the way,🤔
      It was basically so... much of a pain in the butt, that I decided not to bother with them,😕 But they did have some pretty sweet tires for the 1582, and they even had a Rear Wheels track conversion as well.😁👍 lol
      The only other place that I know of is MAGOM HRC, and I leave you a link for that one.😊

      I'm using "WPL" B-16, 6×6 tires; And I Stretched them over the stock Tipper truck tires.😊👍
      As for the actual tire "Inner & Outer Diameter" 🤔?
      I'm honestly not sure 😕
      I totally gapped out, and forgot all about measuring the tires,🙄😕☹️
      Sorry man! 🥺🙏
      All that I can honestly suggest, is that you do a Internet Search for "Wpl B-16 6×6 tires" 😉👍
      Thanks for your Great Question, Sorry if the answer wasn't satisfactory, And my Sincerest Thanks for checking out the video my friend.😊👍🤜🤛

    Added weight , for more stable and balance ?

    • @R.C.A.D.
      @R.C.A.D.  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Removed two bars from the front, Relocated the other two bars in the front, and added weight into the sidesaddle accessories in order of getting weight closer to the rear wheels, as well as trimming a ton of plastic, and adding larger tires, which is all explained in the video.😄👍

      @@R.C.A.D. more heavily weight does it lots more battery consumption ?

      That's a great question Pete.🤔?👍
      Adding the extra weight to the sidesaddle accessories definitely helped that's for sure, But it was equally important to remove, and relocate some of the weight that was in the front of the truck, The manufacture had 4 steel bar's mounted in front of the front tires,🙄 That's a lot of weight hanging over the front end, and was causing the truck to plow on soft ground when it was Unloaded, (The front wheels were pushing the sand, instead of rolling through it, and the back drive tires do nothing but spin) But when the truck was loaded with dirt, it did much better,🤔 Adding the larger tires helped out with the truck moving around when it was Unloaded,
      But it just wasn't enough, The front wheels were still pushing through the sand.🤔 Which lead to me adding weight to the sidesaddle accessories, (fake fuel tank & hydraulic tank that hang on the sides of the truck) The "idea" was to focus weight closer to the rear drive tires, And that did help, But it still wasn't enough,🤔 It was still plowing through the sand,🙄 So the next and final step, Was to remove 2 of the 4 steel bar's that were hanging in front of the front tires, And then relocate the other 2 steel bar's further back on the front end, (So 2 bar's got removed all together, and the 2 remaining bar's got relocated further back) which was sitting on top or above the front wheels, vs in front of the front wheels,
      And that last little maneuver was the winning ticket, The truck was no longer plowing through the sand.😁👍
      So to answer your question; Yes adding the extra weight helped,😊👍But "ultimately" it wasn't as important, as removing, and relocating the weight that was in the cab of the truck.😊
      As for extra battery consumption; It seems to be about the same really,
      Yes we did add extra weight, But we also removed some weight from the front, As well as eliminating some extra drag on the chassis, From removing the Low hanging fenders, Front steps on the cab, and the low hanging steering knuckle posts on the bottom of the chassis, And we also eliminated drag from putting the "retreads" on the tires, (oversized tires have a easier time rolling) 😊
      So "ultimately speaking" I think that we are breaking out about even with the battery usage.😁👍
      Although 🤔 The truck is actually getting used more, "now that it can drive around easier that is" It's spending less time spinning the tires, and more time driving,😕😄 So I guess maybe it is consuming a little more juice from the battery,😂👍
      Except that it's not from adding the extra weight, but rather from actual usage.😄😂 lol
      Note; Edited for spelling error 🙄😄

      😁👍 yup I was sighting in a Aimpoint "Patrol rifle optic" Red dot sight on my AR, all the shot's are in groups of Three, and there's several that are going through the same hole, she's hitting straight on the money, I even put a few right through the center of the blade and sliced the rope that it was hanging from, Pitting the Ace.😁👍🎯

    to bad you cant put a real servo in that thing , I don't care for motorised steering but if it works its ok..

      Anything's possible Terry 😊 and from what I could see, it's totally possible to install a standard servo, Depending on how you go about it that is,😕 The Huina 1582 is totally proportional "Steering & throttle" 🤔 So you could either "A" swap out the electronics for 1582 gear, Or "B" Completely start from scratch with Hobby grade electronics.😁👍

      😂👍👍 lol Time constraints happened,🙄😄
      (38) 25+ minute videos crammed into 1.5 hrs of viewing time happened,🙄
      I didn't really have a choice on that, it was either cram it all into one video, or split it into 14 separate videos, And that just wasn't something that I wanted to do,🤔 That would have been one video per day for the next two weeks, and 14 separate trips into town to upload them, which would almost equal a full tank of gas for my Jeep, and probably 14 hrs of sitting time, while waiting for each video to upload,😕😵 ahh
      And at the end of the day I'd reckon that only a few of those videos would have been watched,🙄 or at least that's been my past experiences with doing a video series,😕 most of the viewers only care about the first and last video, and everything in-between gets cast aside,🙄 So one video it is,😊👍 and to be honest with you, I kinda liked it in high speed form, it makes the video more interesting, and ads a little bit of comedy to it as well.😂 lol
