- Venison Philly Cheese Steaks
Ingredients:
2-3 lbs Venision Roast
1 Yellow onion
1 Bell pepper
Hoagie Rolls
Sliced Cheddar Cheese
Olive Oil
Salt, pepper and garlic powder
Mayo
Directions:
Cut roast against the grain and again into thin slices, the thinner the better. Slice up onion and pepper. Get grill hot, add a little olive oil and put on the onions and peppers and cook until the peppers start to turn translucent. Move the veggies aside and add the venison, season with salt-pepper-garlic powder mix to your liking. Once it starts to brown, flip and chop finely. Put rolls on grill to toast. While rolls toast, mix veggies and meat and chop again. Add cheese to melt. While cheese melts, add mayo to the rolls. Lay the rolls over the meat and use spatula to flip the rolls with the meat and serve.
