Catching Spadefish and Seabass out of Rudee Inlet
In this video we leave Rudee Inlet on the Why Knot to target spadefish and seabass. Turned out to be a beautiful day on the water and a great run to fill the freezer! check out why knot charters at the link below. We had a great time fishing with Capt. Rick. Give us a like if you enjoy!

Truly excellent presentation and explanation. Thanks!
@@jeffreywinter866 glad you enjoyed it
Hey there got my setup going as well. How many Beatles you have running to clean a deer skull in that time frame
@@chrisstricker8373 I’m not exactly sure because the colony grows and shrinks depending on the amount of food and the weather. The swings are extreme and this video was last year so I can’t even guess where they were at that time. If you’re just starting with your colony it will take longer to clean a skull but when the colony peaks they can go through a skull very quickly.
@KillGrillEatRepeat make sense ... I know what you mean between them molting and the different stages there's no way of really knowing how many there are. My best estimation is I'm around 2,500 to 3,000 in the colony and there doing a beaver skull in about 4 days.... So just wondering how many I have it up to to be that efficient on a deer skull... Don't want it in there for 2 weeks kind of thing.
🤙🏾
Hell yeah! Good Eatin'...
is the barrel rifled?
@@maxgerleman2512 yes it is.
Just bought a 220 this year, but aren’t most, if not all, shotgun slugs sabot rounds? If so, the actual copper bullet is encased in a plastic sabot as the bullet travels down the barrel. So, copper should not be an issue in the barrel, but rather you would need something to dissolve the plastic that gets deposited within the barrel from the sabot.
@@JDye-youtube copper is still deposited in the barrel over time. You’ll notice green on the patches when you clean with a solvent, that is the copper being dissolved. The sabot significantly reduces that but does not eliminate it.
What stock is that and also have you shot Hornady sst through it
@@joshharper6531 thumb hole walnut laminate. I have not shot the Hormady SST rounds
Thanks for the reply. I've watched a lot of TH-cam videos on this gun and federal trophy copper and the remington accutip are the ones everyone's recommending. I have one just like yours and trying to decide what scope to use. What scope do you have?
@@johnnyrodgers2460 vortex crossfire ii 3-9x40. I love it on that gun.
What slugs do you use in your 220 ?
@@johnnyrodgers2460 federal trophy copper 2-3/4”. I have taken 6 deer with them out to 170yds and watched all of them expire except one. I highly recommend although every barrel is a little unique.
I agree with the other guy but this is still a great way to store a Trotline turkey white I mean this is still a great way to store a Trotline great video and also great looking hair
Preciate it from Missouri. Do you ever use stink bait or livers? Thinkin bout tieing some up in panty hose on trot lines. Not sure if I'd be better offer catching and cuttin up some bluegill as bait
@@derrickm2093 I generally only use eel anymore because it stays on the hook so well and the catfish love it. I have used chicken covered in kool aid, bluegill, and all kinds of other stink bait. Catfish will eat anything almost and here the tides are so strong here I typically go with whatever stays on the hook the best and eel is hard to beat
Fun fishing there
Thousand times easier using wooden box made out of 2 * 4 just like the old timers did and then you can stack them on top of each other instead of having these big ass blue buckets
Thanks for sharing. For me it really depends on the size of the fish you intend to catch and the length of your line. We have lines over a thousand feet and catch blues pushing 100# in our area. So we use heavier lines than a lot of places.
What part of va are you hunting in
I hunt all over VA but mostly the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula
Congrats, Jay!!!
Thanks man. Hope you have gotten out a few times this season!
@@KillGrillEatRepeat I have only turkey hunted twice but never gotten one
Nice. Great audio lure. Thanks for illustrating how the "pros" do it. A great meal in the making, now we just need to see how to defeather the dinner. Probably not YT friendly.
It’s you tube friendly If people learn something about food processing 😂
We should have showed em coming out of that hot grease!!
I’m gonna make another detailed video of setting the line I just made so we got time.
We can set em again soon.
It's Taylor from the bait shop. Would love to get out there and do some trout fishing or something man.
Let’s go!!!
Soon!

Awesome recipe!! GO VOLS! GBO

How do I know the angle of my knife?
The easiest way is to contact the manufacturer. But if you’re gonna use an electric sharpener, the better question is what angle do you want your knife to be. You can change the angle on most knifes easily. A smaller angle blade (15 degree) is great for the kitchen. I personally like the 20 degree because it’s a more all around angle and it does not dull as quickly as the 15 degree. The smaller the angle, the thinner the edge will be and that allows the “burr” to form easier than a higher angle. Hope that helps.
@@KillGrillEatRepeat thanks! I can’t wait to get all my knives sharpened!
Why it look so good but feel so wrong. My mind telling me no but.....
But your mouth is saying yes 🤣
That is not a Philly Cheese steak sandwich, it’s just Cheese steak sandwich.
