2024 Swan Bonifacio Challenge - Day 2 Highlights
The race committee made the call to send the fleet out two hours ahead of schedule, anticipating a strong mistral later in the day with wind speeds between 25 and 30 knots. Despite the challenging sea state and strong wind conditions, one race was successfully completed, showcasing some incredible sailing.
In the ClubSwan 50 class, the standout performance of the day came from PERHONEN, skippered by Ross Warburton, who took the bullet. In the ClubSwan 36 class, CUORDILEONE, with an impressive port tack start, led the entire race, displaying remarkable skill and securing the win.
It was a day of great conditions and exhilarating downwind sailing, highlighting the skill and competitive spirit of the sailors.
