It genuinely terrifies me that the endoskeletons are communicating from across the building with the happy birthday song. Like they turned what little speech they're programmed with into a personal language only they understand
Personally, i think it may be the souls of either a couple of kids or workers because the one crawling from parts and service seems confused. It also seems they're reaching out to the person with the camera for help.
I like how you explained the suits and springlocks in a way that actually makes sense, especially with the inclusion of a fiberglass shell. I also like how you explained how the bite actually happened in a way that makes sense, in the game lore Fredbear was built with an already hard jaw that can crush heads for no apparent reason, but here Fredbear was built with a normal jaw but the people from the company wanted to give him a full set of teeth so that he can have a perfect smile and smile at the audience, but the teeth were too heavy for the jaw too handle so they gave him a hard jaw! That's genius!

But like if they wanted Fredbear to smile so bad, why didn't they make the teeth out of a hard plastic? Metal seemed like overkill and if the kid's head didn't get bitten off someone would've surely lost a finger.
Something I love about this interpretation of the springlock suits is that the way they operate basically guaranties a 0% chance of survival during a springlock failure. Even supposing you had someone to try and get you out, there's ten different locks on the whole suit to unwind manually, a fiberglass shell you have to take off piece by piece, and an endoskeleton that wraps around your whole body. It makes the whole concept all the more terrifying because you KNOW you're not recovering once those locks go.
It depends on how many springlocks go off. You can probably survive on or two, especially if it's not on the torso or head, but William's suit was in such a bad condition that every single one of the springlocks went off at once.

There is a theory that there are multiple stages to a spring lock failure Baddington made a video showing off the making and you could see that the costume is already covered in blood before the spring locks go off show the leg spring lock Probably went off so that explains why there is so much blood at the bottom of the costume and then he tries his best but the rest set off and he dies then I think it shows a video of an employee running to the door to try to help him

3:53 I love the detail of dry blood around the eyes, showing that spring lock failures have indeed happened. It was either recent or the employees simply didn't clean the suit thoroughly enough.
I adore how the fake eyes in the spring lock suit cover up the employee's eyes and make it so you don't see the intense pain in the victims eyes in the scene where we see a spring lock failure occur. This also works for the injuries all over the victims body, as they are covered by the suit. And I love how the company cares to give more specific directions of what to do in the event of a springlock failure. Just everything about this video is so insanely amazing! It balances world building with pure analog horror. 10/10

The way you explained the spring locks made them feel like something that made logistical sense for the first time ever, rather than just the obvious death trap they were in most other depictions.
I felt the complete opposite way. Seeing them detail how to prep the suit looked like a huge time sink. Lots of valuable employee time waisted. With all those empty heads why doesnt Freddy’s just make a costume suit that looks identical to the animatronic? The best conclusion I could come to is it is a death trap. Besides, how do they get the animatronic spring Bonnie off the stage and into the costume changing room? Do they have to lift the heavy robot or beckon him into the back? Always wondered

@@KCandFriendsUSA If I had to infer what happened, I’d guess that the person filming (or the person who’s eyes we’re seeing from, it’s not clear whether this was meant to be footage that was filmed or an intentional POV of an employee) was the one trying to repair the Fredbear animatronic. It’s unclear if this would be happening at the same time as when we see the POV of an employee in the Fredbear suit on stage. It would imply that they have an entire spare of Fredbear’s fiberglass shell and exoskeleton. Either way, at some point during repairs it began malfunctioning and going crazy, so the employee tripped the fire alarm to get everyone out of the building to avoid any harm.
I think it’s safe to say that if someone gave battington the budget to make an animated found footage horror series, we would not be sleeping for the next month. This is how you make analog horror ladies and gentlemen
Can we take a moment to discuss the scene with Animatronic Freddy crawling across the floor, trying to find Spring Bonnie by singing a distorted version of Happy Birthday? That was honestly amazing. Coupled with the fire alarm and intercom voice telling patrons to evacuate, that entire scene was as enthralling as it was terrifying
yes, it was amazing. i think the intercom voice over adds a touch because normally, these situations happen when it’s only an employee in the building. imagine an animatronic goes haywire with GUESTS in the building? employees and mangers having to remain calm, while escorting them out the building but some have to stay behind. a terrifying thought. imagine a short movie about it
It's almost like when you separate members of a wolf pack and they start howling to try and find each other, which makes sense since these are the first A.I that Henry and William ever made,so it wouldn't be as complex as later modles such as the fun time animatronics
I love how you actually put safety precautions on springlock failures unlike the games where the concept was “Springlocks fail, you die” kind of a deal. Unlike in the video where those are actually very good precautions to take. Plus it’s not like the company being shady and not saying that it will happen. At first glance it most certainly seems like an irrational thing to do but it’s really a live saver because panicking and moving around trying to get the suit off is only going to make it worse. Gotta love that detail, well done!
I mean, precautious we’re obviously in place, because there are only 3 accidents I believe where they died, one was with William, and the other with those fredbear and spring Bonnie suits I believe, it’s been a long time, and in the books william survived a failure.

This one is probably the most unique one, as it actually is a tape that showed how the machine works, instead of just being implied and jumping immediately to scares. I mean, a pretty normal analog horror tape without too much jump cuts is pretty refreshing.

As a member of both the FNAF and SB/CEC fandoms, I know that battington definitely did his research. These mechanisms are pretty similar to how real anamatronics work (springlocks being fake and all) and the whole tape is very similar to the showbiz pizza Concept unification tape (ignoring the analog horror aspect)
The springlock suits if existed in real life would seem to be that “safety hazard from the 80’s no one cared about until someone got hurt”, this is honestly so immersing
I don't think I've ever witnessed anything as horrific and terrifying as the scene with the crawling animatronic, glitching with the built-in music, as a please evacuate message plays in the background, it gives a vibe that you haven't escaped yet and you are the last one there.
The idea of springlock terrifies me. That entire suit has always seemed like an Iron Maiden to me, and makes me wonder, who the hell would willingly get in that suit unless they were suicidal?

Well its implied that there have only ever been a few springlock failures the entire time, all of which happened in a relatively short timespan before the springlock suits were deemed unsafe. My guess is that when they were first made they were perfectly safe and the warning was only there as a precaution. The people getting in these were in no way suicidal, they simply believed the suits had little to no chance of ever failing
Marionette's message really made me tear up. I feel like Mike's feelings over being the cause of his brother's death doesn't get talked enough. Not to mention once you learn about the fnaf lore and why the characters are after you, it seems as though he is constantly villainised by the animatronics. All because he looks like his father, their killer. And even though it's a misunderstanding, there's a chance he might accept it. He accepts being seen as a monster by these horrors because he didn't just kill his brother, he mentally and emotionally harassed his little sibling before his untimely demise. But Marionette knows he genuenly regrets it, she knows there's still some good in him. Why else would Michael be tracking down his father to put an end to his horrific acts? He wants to make up for what he did to his brother by doing this, regardless of being uncertain where he'll end up once its all over. And because of this, marionette wants to help him so long as he stays true till the end.
I was not expecting Afton but I have to say it scrimpus made afton more scary and way more realistic with the way he acts and how he just has that big smile on his face

As terrifying as the puppet is, she’s the most loving and caring character in the entire series. The part at the end where she’s talking is the only time I truly felt safe watching this.
It gets me when the puppet has always been the animatronic I feared the most. Yet with all the lore we’ve seen from the canon and fan works, it’s clear that she’s not entirely malicious.

Honestly, these are the people who bring out FNAF's true potential. Who show what FNAF truly is. The movie couldn't portray that, but these do it PERFECTLY. The fact that people can be brutally stuffed inside the anamatronics, the pain, the screams, they do it PERFECTLY.

0:57 so I'm assuming the fire alarm was going off just because they didn't want anyone to see what was actually happening. Watching those lifeless eyes aimlessly look around is truly unsettling. And when he locked eyes with the person recording, it sent chills down my spine. By far one of the best animations I've seen so far
The alarm was likely pulled so the animatronic on the floor would not be able to hear the happy birthday call and response between Golden Bonnie and Golden Freddy. Golden Freddy was intentionally using that feature to locate the guy wearing the Bonnie suit. The one crawling is Golden Freddy. The one hiding is wearing the Golden Bonnie suit. That's why you see Bonnie getting springtrapped in a staff room. He was the employee on stage too afraid to move because he knows what happened to the last guy who wore the spring suit and he wants to be extra careful. He did manage to get away from the possessed Freddy suit for a brief moment, but he was in a panicked state which triggered the spring locks anyway.

i dont think i can express how much i love these types of fnaf videos. they portray the horror aspect of the game in a whole different light. it really is amazing work.
One thing i love about the "nonexistent video" of the VHS tapes is that, puppet is, in fact, trying to comfort Michael. He's not intimidating him into action. Not just planning a big twist. He knows that its hard for a single person to carry all the responsibility and stress, and only wants what's best. Still my favourite part about the FNAF VHS

Interesting point of note: when the fiberglass is crawling and shuts down for a moment, the next verse of happy birthday isnt sung by the one crawling, its sung out of shot by *another animatronic*, and thats what spurs the one on the floor back to life. You see it lift its head in the direction of the hallway to listen to the final verse before going ham
I like to think that the designers behind the springlock suits knew the risk, but thought that if the people who wore them knew what they were doing that risk would be minimal.

People don’t even realize how important Charlie is to the storyline. Being Henry’s Daughter, killed by his best friend, and then being stuck in the place she was in with one of his kids, nonetheless Michael. But she forgave him. And she helped him throughout almost every game.
I'm pretty sure everyone understands that. She's the Puppet, of course she's important. She's the one who gave the 5MC life, she's Purple Guy's first victim, possibly the first death in the series.
The part where the Endoskeleton is trying to locate the song by singing along was genuinely horrifying. Imagine working at Fazbear Fright knowing that was lurking in the halls.
i was trying to find if anyone was gonna talk about that. that shit was so surreal and the way it looked around and tilted its head in all directions like it was alive, like some kind of confused animal just astounded me. i think the endo was fredbear or a clone of him without a shell? (im assuming from the ears on the endo. springbonnie’s ears came with his exterior model, and they don’t move mechanically like fredbear’s can.)

I loved the explanation of the layers of the suit, it never made sense to me how the fabric part just locked in the shape of the animatronic, the fiberglass shell makes it so much more realistic. (Also, it's actually an Endoskeleton, Endo as in, internal, an exosqueleton is always external)
The springlock failure in 6:21 is so haunting. Every other time we have heard about it, it is a total failure, where blood goes everywhere and the person is dead instantly. Somehow by having a less severe springlock failure where there is not as much blood seen but no less a horrifying scream really gives even more realism to this already incredible video!
If you look closely at the ground where he is standing, there is already blood, meaning he got springlock failure and tried to follow the instructions to get out safely. But as soon as he took ONE step, he got springlocked again. Kinda sad and scary

@@ambush4105 I don't know if I ever had a fever dream, cuz I rarely get sick, but if I have, I don't want to know. But a similar experience was one time, after surgery, I felt a bit sluggish and tired, that night, I pissed myself because I dreamt of sitting on a toilet. LMAO.
In all honesty, it sounds like the springlocks were fairly safe. Considering William's knowledge in robotics, he'd probably make sure that the entire gimmick of the suit was safe enough to not cause any lawsuits. The only real issues I can see with causing a Springlock failure, is if a suit is old and not well maintained, as seen in FnaF 3, being shoved in the back in a wet room, or if someone deliberately tampered with the springlocks to make them loose or dangerous.

The skinless animatronic crawling around in the hall is so good. The sterile white walls, with a kids play place sheen over it really captures the essence of this place being an evil scientists lab, with Frankenstein abominations running loose, disguised as a fun place for kids

I love how you made it look confused, scared and very obviously pissed off. The way that it reaches out almost makes you think its trying to get help. The soul of a dead employee thrashing around, most likely still in agony after the spring locks got him.
I don't think I'll ever see an FNAF animation as scary as 0:57 - 1:29. The way the animatronic drags itself around, the distorted "Happy Birthday to You" being used like the cry of some eldritch nightmare to another... It's so far removed from anything human, adding a whole new level of horror when you remember that's supposed to house a child's soul. Yeah, I don't think I'll find better than this.

That failure at 6:22 was sharp! That felt like it hurt, and the fact you can see blood on the floor tells me that he *tried* to follow the safety instructions of "Standing still and calling for help" Absolutely exceptional!
I'm pretty sure the failure happened due to him making human movements instead of mimicking robot movements so if you move like normally on the suit the spring locks will activate since it cant bend limbs too much like a human meaning I'f you Bend it or walk like a human OR DO ANY HUMAN movements the spring locks itself will fail since it can only withstand robot movements while the person inside took a a little fast step that no robot can do and there boom spring lock failed too much movements. *Edit* : if William didn't get spring-locked after killing the kids he either wore a suit without the spring locks or he removed the spring locks himself in order not to but the question you guys may ask why did he get spring-locked when he saw the five souls of the children it's tricky but I think he wore a different suit with spring locks and he was panicking too much that he forgot to go to the suit without springlocks meaning he was panicking and running too much and randomly found a suit that looks like the suit he wore when killing the kids so he prob thought it's the same suit too bad it wasn't and then there he died painfully and slowly and then comes back and them comes back again and will probably come back in the next fnaf game💀💀💀💀💀
This is my favourite movie in this genre. When I heard the line: "And just remember that a friend is the best thing you could ever have" I almost cried. The amazing friendship of Henry and William, their productive and at the same time destructive partnership are the most enthralling and mysterious things in whole franchise. This dynamic is a core of FNAF story, which is godlessly underrated and forgotten by it's own creators.

I’m a huge sucker for automated announcements in general, and the implications are brilliant. I’m glad I kept my ears open!

Holy Fucking Christ. THIS TAPE IS THE FNAF TAPE. First off, the layers of the suit was genius, I can’t belive none came up with that. Second, this is the most lore dropping tape of all of yours, even overpassing H&H in lore reveals! This is the shit. Keep up the good work, man.
These are the only things that give me hope for the FNAF community. It's what Scott would have wanted, the real lore of the game, taken in a serious manner, and in an actually terrifying way.
That ending wasn’t what I was expecting at all, it was weirdly calming yet depressing, really puts into perspective of how much suffering Michael, the puppet and all the other kids went through.
I love the idea of the springlock suits having a second layer made of fiberglass and that it has faceplates, it explains the springlock suit in Sister Location
Now this is what I call a FNAF tape. Sure, every other VHS tape on the internet is pretty sad and scary, but this looks pretty darn realistic and believable. If I didn’t know better, I would probably think that this is real footage. Good job.
0:55 Here’s a theory on why William watching this performance is important: He’s trying to learning how humans should act in the costumes so they look like animatronics. Remember, he designed these suits, so he probably made them wearable for his later uses. Then all he had to do was wait. Knowing how dangerous he designed them, it was only a matter of time before an incident happened. After the initial failure shown in this video, Fazbear’s Pizza would then tell their staff not to get in the suits, giving Afton the perfect time to carry out his crimes. Nobody on the staff would think someone was in the suit because of how dangerous it is and the company specifically told them not to, and Afton has learned how to act like an animatronic by watching performers, so nobody can tell the difference. As for fooling the customers, it’s even simpler. Children probably wouldn’t be able to tell the difference anyway. For the parents that figured out there was a person in the suit, they wouldn’t think anything of it, as Fazbear’s is shady enough to cover up the incident from the public. By doing so, none of the customers are aware of the fact that a person shouldn’t be taking the place animatronics, so the parents are none the wiser.
at 4:00 you are a genius. You built in a logic to the suit, the idea that the springlock failure wouldnt kill you if you followed these steps. The obvious oversight being is that nobody would stay calm if it happened. Either way, it provides a lore logic for the use of a springlock suit.
Honestly, both Squimpus and Battington tapes have a different feel to them, and watching them both gives me different kinds of horror. And I love that the one picture of William Afton from Facial Recognition has become like the basis for what he looks like and is super popular.

I don’t know if anyone has talked about this, but 2:40 really got me thinking. Like, there’s two sets of springlocks on the arms and legs, there’s one on the back, and worst of all, there’s one on the back of the head. Now, what got me creeped out was just imagining how it would feel having all of those locks impale a person. Honestly very creepy, well done.
I like how the voice becomes compressed when it’s explaining the critical parts of the springlocks/exoskeleton, basically trying to hide its horrifying danger
6:26 I was genuinely a bit horrified on this scene because I assumed this was from the POV of the employee who got springlocked going into a frenzy until I realized that's probably the camera man running towards the screaming coming from that room
This is pure art. Literally haven't felt chills in a long time. I've watched so many horror movies and none of them make me scared at all. this one hit differently. thank you for the feelin. It brought me back in my childhood in the year 2001 when VHS tapes were immensely common. There were things I've seen that were unsettling, I can remember my perspective of things as a child. I've had so many nightmares as a kid, these video brought some of the old feelings I've forgotten. Its inspiring really. All those who contributed in this film you did a good job with sound. People too often underestimate the importance of sound. As a music producer there were a few things I would change with the audio, with Dynamic EQ, I still remember the quality of sound as a child, and the hum of the TV as a VHS tape rolls next to it. The TV makes a type of ringing sound, a static charge would form near the curved screen and hum in such a bizarre way. The audio was never good, especially hand held cameras. They were awful. So bad, I can still remember it in perfect detail.
Battington’s vhs videos are quite scary, and i honestly love it. The vhs shows a more realistic animatronics and characters and how they would look in the 80s and 90s. Battington does amazing work and i love it
I think there's alot to be said about FNAF 1 and it's design. The animatronics look... Uncanny. Like something that could exist. The entire game looks realistic but.. off. No other FNAF game has captured that same look or feel. You've taken that style to the extreme, and really it brings back the fear factor where I feel FNAF has failed in recent times.
Yeah I’m gonna be honest the og animatronics in this video are scarier than any in the main series. They cross the line of uncanny valley realism better than even the first fnaf game did. Props to the creator of this.
I must say, who ever steps into these suits in the first place has got a lot of balls, man. Imagine the amount of teens and young adults working here, having to wear that suit, knowing that if they make one wrong move, they’ll lose their lives in the blink of an eye. Truly scary situation. Yeah, it's terrifying. That person in the suit took one step, one single step, and the instant their foot touched the floor it went off. Imagine trying to perform knowing that it literally could go off any second.
To be honest, the company could've made a separate suit for human performers, and kept the animatronics in the backroom. The suit for human performers should probably only have the fabric costume and the fiberglass shell, with no springlocks included, as it's literally a separate costume. But NOPE. THEY LITERALLY HAD TO MAKE THE ANIMATRONICS BE ABLE TO TURN INTO A COSTUME THAT'S LITERALLY A DEATH TRAP IF YOU MOVE ONE ATOM! I have no idea why I made this rant about the animatronic suits, but ok.

Seriously. Imagine the teens who grew up seeing the suits in action and want to work at Freddy's, just to go for their first day there and see how complex and dangerous the suits really are. No doubt some locations would have an age requirement for actually wearing the suits because the number of kids' families suing would be through the roof
Love how the ending really ties everything together by reminding you that these characters used to have a sense of innocence to them, and even in some ways retained that innocence because they genuinely did make kids happy throughout the years despite all the tragedy that took place.
especially the part where fredbear's blood covered face is shown zooming up to the screen, the part where it says "i bit someone" makes me feel so damn bad for it even though its an animatronic. being created with the sole purpose to bring joy and happiness to others only to be the main reason that someone was hurt or even died is a terrible freaking thing to experience
Except the part where SpringBonnie (or Bonnie Bun Bun in this case) laughs like a fucking psychopath. That would scare the crap out of children. I guess SpringBonnie was always fucked up , even when it wasn't Springtrap , but just a simple animatronic. Hell , there's even something _wrong_ about the way it speaks. Gives me chills.
@@Vantablack000 I think Bonnie Bun is intended to be somewhat unhinged, but in a way that makes him exciting - Fredbear is fun and trustworthy, and Bonnie Bun is the cause of all sorts of antics children would find enjoyable.
This is what Five Nights at Freddy's is. I miss so much this realistic but disturbing and raw vibe in the official games, that is exactly what made FNAF 1 so successful and a lot of people believed it was real. I hate seeing FNAF turning into Children merchandising, running away from its roots for the sake of being more mainstream. A lot of people say it's because the games weren't scary anymore anyways, but these videos show exactly why that statement is wrong. What we believe of "Horror/terror" is not only jumps cares or intense moments having to run away from something or hiding, these videos master the art of changing something completely normal/fine into a disturbing, unnerving and shocking experience, just like what FNAF 1 tried to do, that's the essence of the game, that's what *Five Nights at Freddy's is.* This video is a masterpiece as always coming from Battington, thanks for keeping the flame of the psychological horror alive, pretty hyped from what you will do next.
I'm honestly not surprised that they are making FNaF more tame though, considering that so much of its merchandise has been marketed towards kids from the very beginning. I think if they kept it aimed at the teens and adults that first discovered it thru Let's Play videos both Scott and Steel Wool might be more comfortable showing the darker things that are in FNaF instead of glossing over it.
If anything that’s why Scott funded fan fnaf games. If people say fnaf is being to tame then let the people who can make games like original fnaf do it. After all look how many we have.
A game in a situation like being a staff member of the first pizzeria having to maintain the animatronics, wear the springlook suit (something can and would go wrong) and having to escape 0:57 that kind of things if you don't do a good job in repairing the animatronics. 4:27 if you were wondering, that says Fred bear jaw upgrade Fred bears costume was designed with a large jaw to hold all the teeth for a full smile. Unfortunately that means modifications were needed for the animatronic to function properly. The Fred bear animatronic had problems with moving its jaw with all the additional weight. Both animatronics were designed with the intention of having similar features, with bonnie bun being the main focus for design. To compensate with Fred bears large jaw, we’ve installed two additional hydraulics on both sides of the animatronics jaw. Fred bear is fully calibrated and ready to perform again.
So that's how the crying child was bitten! (well atleast in this version of fnaf) but what confuses me is why would they make his mouth hydraulics that strong? Like I get that his suit jaw was heavy and they wanted him to have a big smile but couldn't they have least made a different lighter suit head?

I have to say, what sets these tapes apart from the rest is the sheer unsettling nature. The “I bit someone” section never fails to give me chills. Also, I just realized this is our first look at Battington’s springtrap re-design, and I’m both excited and horrified to see it in action. Beautiful work as always!
Apart from the horrible yet well explained design of the spring-locks and the horrifying sequences, the ending was surprisingly wholesome. Also loving these alternative designs and their in-depth mechanics, quality work as always.
Really appreciate Battington's take on the animatronics and direction of the tapes. I especially love how much more these animatronics look more like older animatronics of yesteryear...
At 0:57, it took me a while to notice that the endoskeleton/animatronic was in fact communicating with a nearby animatronic using its own created language of the little lines it had been programmed with aka the happy birthday song. It seemingly passed me as I was too caught up in the visual horror of the animatronic crawling across the floor in a slow yet horrifying way to notice there was another voice speaking back. The lack of information, the fire alarm, the ambience. It truly spooked me, you’ve really outdone yourself.
The way it turns its head like trying to hear it better, it wasn't exactly staring at the one recording, it was trying to lean closer to the other animatronic speaking to it. It looks like its communicating to maybe kill the person recording. (Horrifying)
Maybe he will, maybe he won’t. He could create his own unique fnaf analog series outside of Squimpus’ original concept if he really wanted to, he’s quite a talented guy. I’m not sure about him releasing the new models quite yet, he likely will eventually. I’m guessing his behind the scenes video, on this video funnily enough, is the best we’re going to get for the time being, in terms of designs or showcasing productivity.

What I said was Battington could create a new series based on fnaf (with a story created by him, with 3D character models and designs made by him, he could even use the ones he already has) if he wanted to. Squimpus said that they wanted him to stop remaking their series. Hypothetically speaking, Battington could start again with his own series, outside of the Squimpus remakes. Your FNaF models being smaller, especially the Springlock ones, give a better sense of how dangerous and claustrophobic it is to be in a Spring Bonnie suit.
I just don't see how someone could die from a spring lock failure. If you take a look at a spring gate latch, that is most likely the things that would be found in Fredbear and Bonnie, so to have William die to being impaled by them is pretty farfetched for me
@@kingrippzard2027 It wouldn't make sense if the beams shot out were sharp; that's too unsafe even for the cheap Fazbear Ent. So to have a blunt piece of metal pierce your skin using the spring force of what essentially is a gate latch still stands as farfetched to me. Not to mention the little room the beams have in the suit, it wouldn't be long enough to penetrate even through an inch of skin, also not to mention the little room the spring has to stretch to generate force in the first place. The only logical cause for death are the spring locks located in Bonnie's ears; it has enough room to hold a large spring with an equal lengthed beam, and it's also to the head. But this is within the same universe as time traveling ball pits and cab driver Funtime Foxies so I'm probably just looking to far into this...

In case anyone is wondering, the fiberglass animatronic is communicating with another. It is likely that the crawling one is looking for springbonnie, as it is scared, so it calls out in hopes of reaching the other animatronic. When it does get a reply, it tries to listen and look for where the sound is coming from. Perhaps, when the animatronic starts being aggressive towards the cameraman, it’s due to the sound coming from somewhere nearby you, and so it attempts to investigate, only to be blocked by you, so it gets even more scared and aggressive. Perhaps, maybe the fiberglass animatronic contains a childs soul, like Evan, which could explain why the animatronic is actually aggressive; it’s due to what it went through.
Good but if we eliminate some sound we can hear the speakers going off as their is an emergency like a fire or something like that it might be hard to hear but he says "people please evacuate" I couldnt hear the rest of it so what truely happened and what was the reason for such fear what was truely happening

This is such a minor detail but I really like how you called Springbonnie "Bonnie Bun". Always thought it was a bit odd for one of the kiddy mascots to be named after the mechanical death traps Fazbear entertainment uses to cut corners. Bonnie Bun sounds much more welcoming
I've heard a few head cannons about what Spring Bonnie's "stage" name was. One is that the animatronic originally had the simple name of Bonnie, but was given the "Spring" designation as to not confuse it with a newer blue rabbit after the FazBear band was conceptualized. My personal head cannon is that Spring Bonnie's "stage" name was Bell-Hair, as the scheme is closer to Fred-Bear. (While Fred-Bear is the Yellow Bear, Bell-Hair is the Yellow Hair.)

The ending really gets me. Fredbear and Bonnie Bun seemed like genuinely lovable characters and it’s sad to know they were used for such heinous things. I can’t imagine the terrifying betrayal a small child would feel, among other things, after being lured to their fate by a character they love and idolize. It’s hard enough as a kid learning that your favorite characters aren’t real, but imagine learning that the person behind them is a human monster who has led you into a trap you can’t escape. My spirit wouldn’t be able to rest either. True horror.
Man I feel bad for fredbear... He obviously didn't want bite a innocent little kid head and yet he blames himself for it. Fredbear and Bonnie bun wanted to bring joy and fantasy to the children, but they were used for such worse.

I like this protocol for what to do when the spring locks fail much more than the actual game itself. It’s like here: stay calm and get help. In game: go somewhere private to die
One specific thing that stuck out and terrified me the most was that "Have a coworker rewind the springlocks" line. It reminded me of how doctors advise that in case someone gets stabbed/impaled, removing the object is a bad idea, since it helps stop the bleeding. The thought of someone squirming in pain while a coworker slowly winds the locks out of their body is terrifying. Either that or them being taken to a hospital fully stabbed and the doctors slowly taking apart the suit and removing every spring lock from the body. Edit: I just realized this whole scenario MIGHT not happen if we consider what Springlocking was described like in the Novels. (SPOILERS AHEAD) In TSE, If I recall correctly I remember it saying that Dave had already died from the springlocks before the suit finished going off. And when Charlie "died" in T. Freddy, her body went limp right after the Snap. Both these cases show that springlocking deaths are quick, fast enough to kill without all the coils released. So as horrifying as it is, we might rule out the slow squirming feel. But then again, I don't know how much the human body can withstand, but I feel like you'd hold out for at LEAST a few minutes if they didn't hit vital organs. Edit 2: "ayla" in the replies gave a great point. If we consider the Springlock failure is a quick death (like the novels), then Fazbear Ent. Probably made the tape just to give the employees the idea that they could be saved, even thought that's probably not the case, which honestly is ABSOLUTELY something a company would do, even in real life I'd say.
That would be absolutely terrifying. Could you imagine a guide for co-workers during this situation? Like a sort of video explaining how to help a employee stuck in the spring locks..god, that would be chilling.
The “I love you Michael” felt seriously so emotional. It feels like only hate is geared towards these people, these animatronics. But that line seriously made me feel something.

The idea of death via spring lock failure being more like a death via a thousand cuts and less like your body being purée’d by a mechanical skeleton is so much more horrifying. Especially considering that you simply wouldn’t die from having the endo shoved into you. You’d be in a massive amount of pain, but it’s striking the most reinforced parts of your body. No way is that thing piercing into your body
This genuinely feels like the best vhs tape video i have ever seen about fnaf, because not only does it make so much sense with the suit components but also has some of the best found-footage-type animations that look uncanny to real shaky hands trying to film. Furthermore, it doesn’t contain unnecessary jumpscares that are there just because “hehe it’s fnaf, a spooky game so you gotta do jumpscares”. This video is a masterpiece all the way through

I like how you explained the suits and springlocks in a way that actually makes sense, especially with the inclusion of a fiberglass shell. I also like how you explained how the bite actually happened in a way that makes sense, in the game lore Fredbear was built with an already hard jaw that can crush heads for no apparent reason, but here Fredbear was built with a normal jaw but the people from the company wanted to give him a full set of teeth so that he can have a perfect smile and smile at the audience, but the teeth were too heavy for the jaw too handle so they gave him a hard jaw! That's genius!

Something I love about this interpretation of the springlock suits is that the way they operate basically guaranties a 0% chance of survival during a springlock failure. Even supposing you had someone to try and get you out, there's ten different locks on the whole suit to unwind manually, a fiberglass shell you have to take off piece by piece, and an endoskeleton that wraps around your whole body. It makes the whole concept all the more terrifying because you KNOW you're not recovering once those locks go.

I adore how the fake eyes in the spring lock suit cover up the employee's eyes and make it so you don't see the intense pain in the victims eyes in the scene where we see a spring lock failure occur. This also works for the injuries all over the victims body, as they are covered by the suit. And I love how the company cares to give more specific directions of what to do in the event of a springlock failure. Just everything about this video is so insanely amazing! It balances world building with pure analog horror. 10/10

The way you explained the spring locks made them feel like something that made logistical sense for the first time ever, rather than just the obvious death trap they were in most other depictions.
I felt the complete opposite way. Seeing them detail how to prep the suit looked like a huge time sink. Lots of valuable employee time waisted. With all those empty heads why doesnt Freddy’s just make a costume suit that looks identical to the animatronic? The best conclusion I could come to is it is a death trap. @@KCandFriendsUSA If I had to infer what happened, I’d guess that the person filming (or the person who’s eyes we’re seeing from, it’s not clear whether this was meant to be footage that was filmed or an intentional POV of an employee) was the one trying to repair the Fredbear animatronic. It’s unclear if this would be happening at the same time as when we see the POV of an employee in the Fredbear suit on stage. It would imply that they have an entire spare of Fredbear’s fiberglass shell and exoskeleton. Either way, at some point during repairs it began malfunctioning and going crazy, so the employee tripped the fire alarm to get everyone out of the building to avoid any harm.
Is that supposed to be a haunted animatronic? It's so creepy, it's like it's in a state of dying but unable to actually die.

Can we take a moment to discuss the scene with Animatronic Freddy crawling across the floor, trying to find Spring Bonnie by singing a distorted version of Happy Birthday? That was honestly amazing. Coupled with the fire alarm and intercom voice telling patrons to evacuate, that entire scene was as enthralling as it was terrifying
yes, it was amazing. i think the intercom voice over adds a touch because normally, these situations happen when it’s only an employee in the building. imagine an animatronic goes haywire with GUESTS in the building? employees and mangers having to remain calm, while escorting them out the building but some have to stay behind. a terrifying thought. imagine a short movie about it

I love how you actually put safety precautions on springlock failures unlike the games where the concept was “Springlocks fail, you die” kind of a deal. Unlike in the video where those are actually very good precautions to take. Plus it’s not like the company being shady and not saying that it will happen. At first glance it most certainly seems like an irrational thing to do but it’s really a live saver because panicking and moving around trying to get the suit off is only going to make it worse. Gotta love that detail, well done!

As a member of both the FNAF and SB/CEC fandoms, I know that battington definitely did his research. These mechanisms are pretty similar to how real anamatronics work (springlocks being fake and all) and the whole tape is very similar to the showbiz pizza Concept unification tape (ignoring the analog horror aspect)

The idea of springlock terrifies me. That entire suit has always seemed like an Iron Maiden to me, and makes me wonder, who the hell would willingly get in that suit unless they were suicidal?

Well its implied that there have only ever been a few springlock failures the entire time, all of which happened in a relatively short timespan before the springlock suits were deemed unsafe. My guess is that when they were first made they were perfectly safe and the warning was only there as a precaution. The people getting in these were in no way suicidal, they simply believed the suits had little to no chance of ever failing

Marionette's message really made me tear up. I feel like Mike's feelings over being the cause of his brother's death doesn't get talked enough. Not to mention once you learn about the fnaf lore and why the characters are after you, it seems as though he is constantly villainised by the animatronics. All because he looks like his father, their killer. And even though it's a misunderstanding, there's a chance he might accept it. He accepts being seen as a monster by these horrors because he didn't just kill his brother, he mentally and emotionally harassed his little sibling before his untimely demise. But Marionette knows he genuenly regrets it, she knows there's still some good in him. Why else would Michael be tracking down his father to put an end to his horrific acts? He wants to make up for what he did to his brother by doing this, regardless of being uncertain where he'll end up once its all over. And because of this, marionette wants to help him so long as he stays true till the end.

As terrifying as the puppet is, she’s the most loving and caring character in the entire series. The part at the end where she’s talking is the only time I truly felt safe watching this.
It gets me when the puppet has always been the animatronic I feared the most. Yet with all the lore we’ve seen from the canon and fan works, it’s clear that she’s not entirely malicious.

0:57 so I'm assuming the fire alarm was going off just because they didn't want anyone to see what was actually happening. Watching those lifeless eyes aimlessly look around is truly unsettling. And when he locked eyes with the person recording, it sent chills down my spine. By far one of the best animations I've seen so far

The alarm was likely pulled so the animatronic on the floor would not be able to hear the happy birthday call and response between Golden Bonnie and Golden Freddy. Golden Freddy was intentionally using that feature to locate the guy wearing the Bonnie suit.
The one crawling is Golden Freddy. The one hiding is wearing the Golden Bonnie suit. That's why you see Bonnie getting springtrapped in a staff room. He was the employee on stage too afraid to move because he knows what happened to the last guy who wore the spring suit and he wants to be extra careful. He did manage to get away from the possessed Freddy suit for a brief moment, but he was in a panicked state which triggered the spring locks anyway.

One thing i love about the "nonexistent video" of the VHS tapes is that, puppet is, in fact, trying to comfort Michael. He's not intimidating him into action. Not just planning a big twist. Here's your daily reminder to tighten up your springlocks
The springlock failure in 6:21 is so haunting. Every other time we have heard about it, it is a total failure, where blood goes everywhere and the person is dead instantly. Somehow by having a less severe springlock failure where there is not as much blood seen but no less a horrifying scream really gives even more realism to this already incredible video!
If you look closely at the ground where he is standing, there is already blood, meaning he got springlock failure and tried to follow the instructions to get out safely. But as soon as he took ONE step, he got springlocked again. Kinda sad and scary

In all honesty, it sounds like the springlocks were fairly safe.
Considering William's knowledge in robotics, he'd probably make sure that the entire gimmick of the suit was safe enough to not cause any lawsuits.
The only real issues I can see with causing a Springlock failure, is if a suit is old and not well maintained, as seen in FnaF 3, being shoved in the back in a wet room, or if someone deliberately tampered with the springlocks to make them loose or dangerous.
I love the springlocks in the vhs tape but it does contradict what we see in fnaf 3

I'm pretty sure the failure happened due to him making human movements instead of mimicking robot movements so if you move like normally on the suit the spring locks will activate since it cant bend limbs too much like a human meaning I'f you Bend it or walk like a human OR DO ANY HUMAN movements the spring locks itself will fail since it can only withstand robot movements while the person inside took a a little fast step that no robot can do and there boom spring lock failed too much movements.
*Edit* : if William didn't get spring-locked after killing the kids he either wore a suit without the spring locks or he removed the spring locks himself in order not to but the question you guys may ask why did he get spring-locked when he saw the five souls of the children it's tricky but I think he wore a different suit with spring locks and he was panicking too much that he forgot to go to the suit without springlocks meaning he was panicking and running too much and randomly found a suit that looks like the suit he wore when killing the kids so he prob thought it's the same suit too bad it wasn't and then there he died painfully and slowly and then comes back and them comes back again and will probably come back in the next fnaf game💀💀💀💀💀

This is my favourite movie in this genre. When I heard the line: "And just remember that a friend is the best thing you could ever have" I almost cried. The amazing friendship of Henry and William, their productive and at the same time destructive partnership are the most enthralling and mysterious things in whole franchise. This dynamic is a core of FNAF story, which is godlessly underrated and forgotten by it's own creators.

0:55 Here’s a theory on why William watching this performance is important:
He’s trying to learning how humans should act in the costumes so they look like animatronics. Remember, he designed these suits, so he probably made them wearable for his later uses. Then all he had to do was wait. Knowing how dangerous he designed them, it was only a matter of time before an incident happened.
After the initial failure shown in this video, Fazbear’s Pizza would then tell their staff not to get in the suits, giving Afton the perfect time to carry out his crimes. Nobody on the staff would think someone was in the suit because of how dangerous it is and the company specifically told them not to, and Afton has learned how to act like an animatronic by watching performers, so nobody can tell the difference.
As for fooling the customers, it’s even simpler. Children probably wouldn’t be able to tell the difference anyway. For the parents that figured out there was a person in the suit, they wouldn’t think anything of it, as Fazbear’s is shady enough to cover up the incident from the public. By doing so, none of the customers are aware of the fact that a person shouldn’t be taking the place animatronics, so the parents are none the wiser.

I don’t know if anyone has talked about this, but 2:40 really got me thinking. Like, there’s two sets of springlocks on the arms and legs, there’s one on the back, and worst of all, there’s one on the back of the head. Now, what got me creeped out was just imagining how it would feel having all of those locks impale a person. Honestly very creepy, well done.

This is pure art. Literally haven't felt chills in a long time. I've watched so many horror movies and none of them make me scared at all. this one hit differently. thank you for the feelin. It brought me back in my childhood in the year 2001 when VHS tapes were immensely common. There were things I've seen that were unsettling, I can remember my perspective of things as a child. I've had so many nightmares as a kid, these video brought some of the old feelings I've forgotten. Its inspiring really. All those who contributed in this film you did a good job with sound. People too often underestimate the importance of sound. As a music producer there were a few things I would change with the audio, with Dynamic EQ, I still remember the quality of sound as a child, and the hum of the TV as a VHS tape rolls next to it. The TV makes a type of ringing sound, a static charge would form near the curved screen and hum in such a bizarre way. The audio was never good, especially hand held cameras. They were awful. So bad, I can still remember it in perfect detail.
Ikr this is so good. Mainly because it doesn't rely on jumpscares to scare viewers. It just super unsettling and terrifying
Battington’s vhs videos are quite scary, and i honestly love it. The vhs shows a more realistic animatronics and characters and how they would look in the 80s and 90s. Battington does amazing work and i love it

I think there's alot to be said about FNAF 1 and it's design. The animatronics look... Uncanny. Like something that could exist. The entire game looks realistic but.. off. No other FNAF game has captured that same look or feel. You've taken that style to the extreme, and really it brings back the fear factor where I feel FNAF has failed in recent times.

I must say, who ever steps into these suits in the first place has got a lot of balls, man. Imagine the amount of teens and young adults working here, having to wear that suit, knowing that if they make one wrong move, they’ll lose their lives in the blink of an eye. Truly scary situation. You’re basically a walking murder-suicide case.
Yeah, it's terrifying. That person in the suit took one step, one single step, and the instant their foot touched the floor it went off. Imagine trying to perform knowing that it literally could go off any second.
To be honest, the company could've made a separate suit for human performers, and kept the animatronics in the backroom. The suit for human performers should probably only have the fabric costume and the fiberglass shell, with no springlocks included, as it's literally a separate costume. But NOPE. THEY LITERALLY HAD TO MAKE THE ANIMATRONICS BE ABLE TO TURN INTO A COSTUME THAT'S LITERALLY A DEATH TRAP IF YOU MOVE ONE ATOM!

Seriously. Imagine the teens who grew up seeing the suits in action and want to work at Freddy's, just to go for their first day there and see how complex and dangerous the suits really are. No doubt some locations would have an age requirement for actually wearing the suits because the number of kids' families suing would be through the roof
Love how the ending really ties everything together by reminding you that these characters used to have a sense of innocence to them, and even in some ways retained that innocence because they genuinely did make kids happy throughout the years despite all the tragedy that took place.
especially the part where fredbear's blood covered face is shown zooming up to the screen, the part where it says "i bit someone" makes me feel so damn bad for it even though its an animatronic. being created with the sole purpose to bring joy and happiness to others only to be the main reason that someone was hurt or even died is a terrible freaking thing to experience

Except the part where SpringBonnie (or Bonnie Bun Bun in this case) laughs like a fucking psychopath. That would scare the crap out of children. I miss so much this realistic but disturbing and raw vibe in the official games, that is exactly what made FNAF 1 so successful and a lot of people believed it was real.
I hate seeing FNAF turning into Children merchandising, running away from its roots for the sake of being more mainstream. A lot of people say it's because the games weren't scary anymore anyways, but these videos show exactly why that statement is wrong.
What we believe of "Horror/terror" is not only jumps cares or intense moments having to run away from something or hiding, these videos master the art of changing something completely normal/fine into a disturbing, unnerving and shocking experience, just like what FNAF 1 tried to do, that's the essence of the game, that's what *Five Nights at Freddy's is.*
This video is a masterpiece as always coming from Battington, thanks for keeping the flame of the psychological horror alive, pretty hyped from what you will do next.
I'm honestly not surprised that they are making FNaF more tame though, considering that so much of its merchandise has been marketed towards kids from the very beginning. I think if they kept it aimed at the teens and adults that first discovered it thru Let's Play videos both Scott and Steel Wool might be more comfortable showing the darker things that are in FNaF instead of glossing over it.
If anything that’s why Scott funded fan fnaf games. If people say fnaf is being to tame then let the people who can make games like original fnaf do it. After all look how many we have.

Fred bear jaw upgrade
Fred bears costume was designed with a large jaw to hold all the teeth for a full smile. Unfortunately that means modifications were needed for the animatronic to function properly. The Fred bear animatronic had problems with moving its jaw with all the additional weight. Both animatronics were designed with the intention of having similar features, with bonnie bun being the main focus for design. To compensate with Fred bears large jaw, we’ve installed two additional hydraulics on both sides of the animatronics jaw. Fred bear is fully calibrated and ready to perform again.
So that's how the crying child was bitten! (well atleast in this version of fnaf) but what confuses me is why would they make his mouth hydraulics that strong? Like I get that his suit jaw was heavy and they wanted him to have a big smile but couldn't they have least made a different lighter suit head?

I have to say, what sets these tapes apart from the rest is the sheer unsettling nature. The “I bit someone” section never fails to give me chills. Also, I just realized this is our first look at Battington’s springtrap re-design, and I’m both excited and horrified to see it in action. Beautiful work as always!

Apart from the horrible yet well explained design of the spring-locks and the horrifying sequences, the ending was surprisingly wholesome. Also loving these alternative designs and their in-depth mechanics, quality work as always.

At 0:57, it took me a while to notice that the endoskeleton/animatronic was in fact communicating with a nearby animatronic using its own created language of the little lines it had been programmed with aka the happy birthday song. It seemingly passed me as I was too caught up in the visual horror of the animatronic crawling across the floor in a slow yet horrifying way to notice there was another voice speaking back. The lack of information, the fire alarm, the ambience. It truly spooked me, you’ve really outdone yourself.

Maybe he will, maybe he won’t. He could create his own unique fnaf analog series outside of Squimpus’ original concept if he really wanted to, he’s quite a talented guy. I’m not sure about him releasing the new models quite yet, he likely will eventually. I’m guessing his behind the scenes video, on this video funnily enough, is the best we’re going to get for the time being, in terms of designs or showcasing productivity.

I know that, but that’s not what I was referring to. What I said was Battington could create a new series based on fnaf (with a story created by him, with 3D character models and designs made by him, he could even use the ones he already has) if he wanted to. Squimpus said that they wanted him to stop remaking their series. Hypothetically speaking, Battington could start again with his own series, outside of the Squimpus remakes. But you’re right, it’s more wishful thinking than a reality. Guess I’m just saddened at the fact the series was canceled just when it was starting to reach its climax. 🙁
Your FNaF models being smaller, especially the Springlock ones, give a better sense of how dangerous and claustrophobic it is to be in a Spring Bonnie suit.
I just don't see how someone could die from a spring lock failure. If you take a look at a spring gate latch, that is most likely the things that would be found in Fredbear and Bonnie, so to have William die to being impaled by them is pretty farfetched for me

It wouldn't make sense if the beams shot out were sharp; that's too unsafe even for the cheap Fazbear Ent. So to have a blunt piece of metal pierce your skin using the spring force of what essentially is a gate latch still stands as farfetched to me. Not to mention the little room the beams have in the suit, it wouldn't be long enough to penetrate even through an inch of skin, also not to mention the little room the spring has to stretch to generate force in the first place. The only logical cause for death are the spring locks located in Bonnie's ears; it has enough room to hold a large spring with an equal lengthed beam, and it's also to the head. But this is within the same universe as time traveling ball pits and cab driver Funtime Foxies so I'm probably just looking to far into this...

It makes you wonder where the Bonnie Bun companion call is coming from and why they are calling. It adds such a creepy but cool feature to the story and has so much potential.

In case anyone is wondering, the fiberglass animatronic is communicating with another. It is likely that the crawling one is looking for springbonnie, as it is scared, so it calls out in hopes of reaching the other animatronic. When it does get a reply, it tries to listen and look for where the sound is coming from.
Perhaps, when the animatronic starts being aggressive towards the cameraman, it’s due to the sound coming from somewhere nearby you, and so it attempts to investigate, only to be blocked by you, so it gets even more scared and aggressive.
Perhaps, maybe the fiberglass animatronic contains a childs soul, like Evan, which could explain why the animatronic is actually aggressive; it’s due to what it went through.

This is such a minor detail but I really like how you called Springbonnie "Bonnie Bun". Always thought it was a bit odd for one of the kiddy mascots to be named after the mechanical death traps Fazbear entertainment uses to cut corners. Bonnie Bun sounds much more welcoming
I've heard a few head cannons about what Spring Bonnie's "stage" name was. One is that the animatronic originally had the simple name of Bonnie, but was given the "Spring" designation as to not confuse it with a newer blue rabbit after the FazBear band was conceptualized. My personal head cannon is that Spring Bonnie's "stage" name was Bell-Hair, as the scheme is closer to Fred-Bear. (While Fred-Bear is the Yellow Bear, Bell-Hair is the Yellow Hair.)

The ending really gets me. Fredbear and Bonnie Bun seemed like genuinely lovable characters and it’s sad to know they were used for such heinous things. I can’t imagine the terrifying betrayal a small child would feel, among other things, after being lured to their fate by a character they love and idolize.
It’s hard enough as a kid learning that your favorite characters aren’t real, but imagine learning that the person behind them is a human monster who has led you into a trap you can’t escape. My spirit wouldn’t be able to rest either. True horror.

Man I feel bad for fredbear... He obviously didn't want bite a innocent little kid head and yet he blames himself for it. Fredbear and Bonnie bun wanted to bring joy and fantasy to the children, but they were used for such worse.

One specific thing that stuck out and terrified me the most was that "Have a coworker rewind the springlocks" line.
It reminded me of how doctors advise that in case someone gets stabbed/impaled, removing the object is a bad idea, since it helps stop the bleeding. The thought of someone squirming in pain while a coworker slowly winds the locks out of their body is terrifying. Either that or them being taken to a hospital fully stabbed and the doctors slowly taking apart the suit and removing every spring lock from the body.
Edit: I just realized this whole scenario MIGHT not happen if we consider what Springlocking was described like in the Novels.

In TSE, If I recall correctly I remember it saying that Dave had already died from the springlocks before the suit finished going off. And when Charlie "died" in T. Freddy, her body went limp right after the Snap.
Both these cases show that springlocking deaths are quick, fast enough to kill without all the coils released. So as horrifying as it is, we might rule out the slow squirming feel. But then again, I don't know how much the human body can withstand, but I feel like you'd hold out for at LEAST a few minutes if they didn't hit vital organs.
Edit 2: "ayla" in the replies gave a great point. If we consider the Springlock failure is a quick death (like the novels), then Fazbear Ent. Probably made the tape just to give the employees the idea that they could be saved, even thought that's probably not the case, which honestly is ABSOLUTELY something a company would do, even in real life I'd say.

The “I love you Michael” felt seriously so emotional. It feels like only hate is geared towards these people, these animatronics. But that line seriously made me feel something.
It makes me feel bad for him. It isn't really his fault. If William had loved Michael like he loved Joseph, Michael wouldn't have gotten so out of hand to do that. I'd say that Michael earns the right to burn his father alive in a mockery of his old business (Fazbear's Fright.)

The idea of death via spring lock failure being more like a death via a thousand cuts and less like your body being purée’d by a mechanical skeleton is so much more horrifying.
Especially considering that you simply wouldn’t die from having the endo shoved into you. You’d be in a massive amount of pain, but it’s striking the most reinforced parts of your body. No way is that thing piercing into your body

This genuinely feels like the best vhs tape video i have ever seen about fnaf, because not only does it make so much sense with the suit components but also has some of the best found-footage-type animations that look uncanny to real shaky hands trying to film. Furthermore, it doesn’t contain unnecessary jumpscares that are there just because “hehe it’s fnaf, a spooky game so you gotta do jumpscares”. This video is a masterpiece all the way through
6:23 this mixture of genuine pain and horror in his scream is infinitely more frightening than any gore that could've been shown in the failiure process. Also this mouse trap-like snapping sound makes it more terrifying for me for an unkown reason
