I'd say it's the opposite, instead of darkness it's light, instead of just an eye it's several, i'd say an accurate angel is apropiate for a description based on my thoughts

"Dorce" is an anglocized name for a legendary chinese warrior who is known for have faught other legendary chinese figures. Perhaps "dorcelessness" if a feel of pure emptiness and weakness?
The thought of companies completely monetizing natural human emotions is a terrifying thought. Medications I take simply restore my emotions, not just completely force them. Honestly I'd love to see more emotions from Thalasin+, they're unbelievably well done and... morbidly beautiful.
Well, actual medicine ads on tv are pretty crazy too. "Are you tired? Don't take rest, take this pill!" "Do you fell a loss of energy? Don't eat, take this pill!" "Do you fell pain? Don't search for the core of the problem, take this pill!

Loric is the face you make when you eat a fudge pop fresh out the freezer or drink water from a water bottle not knowing that it's been sitting there for days
It's like a horrifying commercial you'd see in a dystopian world. Anyway, I love this, I especially love how well this captures the feeling of an old medical commercial, it makes it way more horrific.
This is literally my favorite analog horror video. It makes me laugh every time because of how badly I want to experience the shrimp emotions (emotions only able to be experienced by shrimp or Thalasin+)
There's something deeply unsettling about the implication that these emotions are so radically different from what we as humans even understand within the emotional spectrum that the human face has to mutate drastically to even be able to properly convey them.

When you feel trantive: Inhumane and isolated as a result of being stressed with inconsistency, accompanied with feeling of being torn apart to the degree you feel peeled to every direction, with an extreme excess of being denied and estranged
@@rosesareredsilentasamouse humber this is also 100% emotion. it's that feeling when you don't understand anything, but you're trying not to hit it with rebar
a group of people should do this, hide it and maybe in 3021 someone will find it and wonder what the fuck, maybe think we’re a cult or make it one of those internet mysteries
To me the reason why this is well, hair clinchingly horrifying because you can’t understand what emotion something like ANDRIC feels like. But that raises the question what if there was an alien race they didn’t feel fear or anger or disgust? When if they saw us displaying those emotions well they probably be horrified especially with something like fear, our face is just contorted into somethings that they can’t recognize at all, like the emotions guided by thalasin +to us.
To me, the horror is that of how Humans are apparently capable of such alien emotions that makes me think that there is something deeper and darker about the human psyche of every human, and about how Thalasin maybe doesn't create these emotions, but rather unlocks them.
Maybe, but I’d also imagine if they’re that alien that they don’t feel those emotions, it might be like a person looking at a jellyfish or a sponge or some other creature that’s as far from a human as you could get. It would be less “horrifying” and more “wtf, this thing looks so weird lol”. They’d probably just see our faces as weird twitchy things that they don’t even register as meant for expressing emotion because its not a part of their anatomy or physiology. I think it’s more likely they’d be curious/confused than scared.
I know we're all fascinated by how horrific these emotions are, but we're only stuck on how they LOOK. These are supposed to be emotions. We need to ask questions on how these emotions FEEL. Good God...
@@gido9467 Degrance: overall pretty nice. Usually felt after getting revenge replacing guilt. Humber: pretty strange. The most similar thing to it is a dream about being eaten by a hotdog that you are also eating. I'LL FINISH LATER
My brother has been quite emotionless as of recent so I showed this clip to him and see if Thalasin is right med for him. But all he says is just “There are no faces.”
Unnatural emotions are just hard to achieve naturally. Loric is entirely attainable, but you must begin by experiencing a mixture of joy and pain from simultaneously hearing your unborn child’s heartbeat for the first time, as well as learning of your own terminal condition. Next, make a miraculous recovery as you learn that your child will be stillborn. Congratulations upon achieving loric! You are now in a gateway emotion to some of the others mentioned. Piece by piece, dismember yourself and hide the parts within air ducts within your home. Upon achieving the final deposit, you will begin to experience kyne, and from there, it is a mere few hours until you enter trantiveness.
The long pause on dorselessness is what gets me. You're getting accustomed to the rhythm and it breaks that pattern and it upsets you. Also y'know the imagery.
Dorselessness made me laugh out loud at the sudden change, but Harfam actually gave me chills since it appears before the narrator actually announces the name, and it gets cut off.
I am a satisfied buyer of *Thalasin plus!* I am now able to not only FEEL REGULAR EMOTIONS but feel NAGE and things of the like. My friends asked how do you feel today! You best believe I took my *thalasin+* that morning. *I don’t know Tom! I’m feeling a little bit of dorcelessnes and a tinge of transtiveness today!* I would recommend.
Degrence: A Nirvanal state of tenfold euphoria. A safety beyond safety in feeling protected beyond all means of harm, with a stark inability to sense any negativity, vague or direct. Happiness, bliss, joy and increased libido. Often becomes non-verbal and unresponsive with potentially lethal drops in blood pressure. Humber: Catastrophic mental disaptitude. Otherworldly confusion and dissolution leaves someone in a catatonic state with an acquired mental retardation preventing all but vital bodily function. Laughter and crying at random intervals, seizures and salivation. Nage: Extreme, inhumane rage that is coupled with an overwhelming sense of faux happiness. This "hostess" grin sickly covers near homicidal anger, matched with unpredictable and impulsive behavior on a most animalistic level. Euphoric, angered, annoyed with distinct and often extreme misophonia. Dorcelessness: Complete disconnection, an intrauniversal depersonalization. Loss of alignment (moral, religious, social) and inability to reconnect irrespective of familial affiliation. Some describe as "watching the world through a black hole". Disconnection, unemotional, empty. Andric: Revoltion and self-loathing, regret of the self-reflection in one's humanity and humane extent. An intense envy and anger at other's wasted disposition. The most intense hatred a human can feel before dehumanization occurs. Disgust, higher sense of self, demoralizing behavior. Varination: Taste becomes an abhorrent sense in causation to a culmination with dehumanization sensory hypermutation. The first emotion felt beyond human reason with most permanent consequence to body and mind. Like eating something acidic to the point of tearing at the cheeks and tongue. Anger, sleeplessness and vomiting are seen. Ponnish: Explosive self loathing through intense jealousy at one's own envious ways. This ouroboroic phenomenon results in complete social and personal retraction, unable to connect with any other being. Self-mutilation and isolation with frustration. Harfam: Endowment of mental proficiencies without the means of execution, a gluttonous withhold of intelligence and knowledge with no means of executing what is known. Acute frustration and dementia like withdrawal and physical tremors are seen here. Manic-depressive with violent outbursts rhythmic with silent crying spells. Kyne: Opposite of Harfam. Loss of self, intelligence and all senses beyond tactility. Unable to feel heat, cold or pressure. Becoming the ultimate idiot. No sense of thought and *slowed vitals monitored. *Most fatalities occur here due to atrophic intracranial myopathy. Depressive episode with occasional bouts of screaming and yawning. Trantivenss: Utter disconnection between body and mind. Without comprehension of physical consequence and no sense of place on the world, coupled with an extreme sense of vertigo and labyrinthitis (if inner ears still exist). Actions are purely impulsive, often times uncoordinated and implosive, most being self-destructive acts in even otherwise preservative people. Hyperactive and unable to reflect. Teluge: Pleasure, pain and all emotion is far too enhanced, resulting in total mind and body collapse. A feather stroking the skin is far more intense than what can be described as orgasmic, and a bump to the reflexive nerve is akin to being crushed by a car while being alive. Fear, hopelessness, ecstasy and screaming are noted. Clarity is rarely regained and sexual perversions and fears emerge after the trip. Hyperoverstimulation. Onlent: The want to destroy everything, down to its very atoms. A sociopathic complex, no emotion is seen while destroying all that can be in the shortest amount of time; being the shortest-lived exohuman emotional experience, destruction can be achieved in as little as 4 seconds. No emotion entirely, absolutely. Loric: A synthetic happiness in which all appears and feels artificial. "Uncanny valley" becomes reality and structures such as mannequins are witness to be "moving and breathing people". All else feels fake, where even personal relationships lasting years feel worthless and as valuable as play money. No sense of value, monetarily or physically. Ultimate contentment is felt. Unknown (Variconcord): A state of becoming all in one and one becomes all that is. All senses go beyond physical state of being, able to think far past stars and see through the blanket of time. Total dehumanization, depersonalization and bodily transmutation into a rooted, fixed structure is observed. Those able to communicate say the transformation is akin to "birthing a new world in your own mind". Brains become 90% of swollen body mass. Euphoria, dissociative nihilism, altruism, devalues physical and emotional ties.
I love how much more quality has been adjectived into the work. It reminds me of snippets of those strange music video channels that apparently aired on TV, I remember seeing re-runs of them when I'd go too far up in the channel's numbers. If there's ever any more blue channel stuff, I hope it's blUE.
No ones talking about this, and I wanna because i think its underated. I love the energy change between comercials. The first is more of a psa than an ad. The narrator speaks like someone who understands the importance of what thalasin can do, informative data is presented to reason the med's existence, theres information about how adults may need to be prescribed Thalasin, etc. This was definetly made a month or even a couple of weeks after Thalasin's existence; everyone's excited about how the tech can be used to better the sick, change lives, and cure diseases once thought to be untreatable. The second commercial however, THAT is an ad. The narrator's dictation is closer to a used car salesman than a professional. He uses phrases like "tired of...?", "expand your....," cutting edge," and "call now before supplies run out." Thalasin was made to be a miracle for those mentally suffering, but thalasin + was made to be a product by big companies using the revolutionary tech that others created.
I feel like nage is just when you are trying as hard as you possibly can to appear happy but you are actually bubbling with rage on the inside. That’s also kind of the feeling that I get from the picture as well lol. Maybe the word is a combination of nice and rage. More than likely, though, I’m just overthinking it.
something I noticed after rewatching this for like the 56th time is that all the “normal” emotions shown at 1:21 are only the *mild versions of happiness/sadness/anger/etc,* meaning all those terrifying emotions in the second half could very well be only the mild versions of those same terrifying emotions too
In a nightmare I watched my dad experience “kyne” when I was like 4. Suddenly seeing an illustration of it brought that memory back to me and I don’t know how to feel about it
I LOVE the facial illustrations there when it starts showing the unnatural emotions! That's horror art with aspects I don't nearly see enough, with the detail and the subtle, warped away parts looking like a sort of AI-generated face by an AI who doesn't quite get what a person looks like just yet!
when you mention AI that doesn't get the look of a human face I get chills man, nowadays AI is very good, but sometimes it doesn't work as intended and you can get creeped out
I actually find the latter section hilarious, because calling them emotions makes me think of a person intensely exhibiting one of those faces for about five minutes, then slowly going back to normal because the event that caused it is now fading from their memory. Like, your left eye, all of the skin on your face, and substantial sections of your skull are growing back now because you just ate a delicious lunch, during which you got over the particularly disdorcening orientation of the Andromeda galaxy and its satellites this morning. That being said, the degrence pill just makes you bust.
I felt like the artist were attaining some special kind of emotional numbness while drawing these things. At no point a normal person would draw these while kept being sane. Can't say the same about Junji Ito tho.
Listening to music that may unnerve you a bit to get you in the right mindset to draw this stuff. If you get freaked out, turn off some layers, take breaks, etc. For example, when I draw creepy things, I listen to songs by The Caretaker, and then ya don't really think about what you're drawing. You just kinda Do it.

Ponnish is a feeling where you have a negative thought of something from a previous time and can you hear a loud noise.

The second commercial however, THAT is an ad. The narrator's dictation is closer to a used car salesman than a professional. He uses phrases like "tired of...?", "expand your....," cutting edge," and "call now before supplies run out."
