Yes it was a great time. Unfortunately we won’t be able to make it to the September trip but watched your latest video. We will be at Dale Hollow the first full week of august and over Labor Day for the Redneck rally maybe we can connect on something if you guys can come around those times. Thanks for watching

Very clear video! You've done something right because I just uploaded our local poker run shot in 4K, rendered to 80 mbps and on YT it looks horrible. Very frustrating to lose all that work after a 2 hour upload.

As a lifetime resident of Russell county, lake Cumberland has been my back yard for 55 years...
Yeah this Summer has been a wet one for sure.. the lake in the timber means many logs in the water.. we call it Trash on the lake.. you have to keep a kean eye out for logs... I worked at the State Dock as a dock hand a few summers when I was in my teens.. probably the most fun job I ever had... then became a marine mechanic... so I've worked on and owned all sorts of boats from houseboats to bass boats and go fast boats of every brand... but some of the boats coming down the lake with 4 and 5 350 and 450 hp outboards is crazy.... I never go on the lake during these events... the lake is too rough because of all the traffic and there has been several deaths caused from too fast boats..
Many have more money than braines... glad you checked out our lake.. but do yourselves a favor and come when there is not a poker run or major holiday and you'll truly enjoy the beauty of lake Cumberland..... and next video if you want a little tip..

Thank you for watching our video. Yes I recognize the music was too much. The problem was we didn't turn the music in the boat off so we had to put music over it for copyright purposes. I do apologize and we are continuing to grow and get better. We have the redneck rally 2022 coming up over Labor Day and getting more sound of the boats and less music is definitely a point to improve. Thank you for the feedback.
We have run the September run 5 or 6 times , logs have never really been an issue at that one .
Seriously who has money to be done in this thing. Oh yeah .

Thanks for the great video. The first one I saw on your channel. We are big boaters here in NE WI and usually run Lake Winnebago and Green Bay. I have never done one of these before but might like to someday. I enjoy boating videos but is hard to watch a lot of them because they are not family friendly... if you catch my drift. So I appreciate yours a lot. Keep up the vids, new subscriber here!

A lot of content is watched and published based on a lot of things that aren't family friendly and I wanted to change that and still have good content. The September run is waaay bigger than this one . If you thought this one was a good time , wait till that one lol . Water between State Dock and Harmon Creek (party cove) will be stupid rough also .
I can only imagine! It’s amazing the turn outs these are and I bet it’s a lot tougher. Log dodging wasn’t fun on this trip but other than that it was a great time
@@Bdizzle52fly last time we ran it was 2019 . Covid shut 2020 down and my buddy with the big boat has 2 kids in college now out of pocket lol . We run a 36 outlaw when we go . I'm not too far from ya either , I'm in Terre Haute.
@@FishinSucks ya it’s a fun time for sure. We have a place at dale hollow and that’s where we go. I can only imagine putting 2 kids through college lol we have a little girl she’s got a ways before then but time flys. You’ll have to hit us up have to check out that 36 ft outlaw I love that size and ya we are in the Indy area
I spotted a Shockwave 29' magnatude at 9:00 that boat made it far from its original California home !

Thank you for watching and I agree. As we were editing this that was one of the things that I know we missed was the noise. Always striving to get better and appreciate the input. Will continue to get better and have a lot more sound from those engines in the next one.
I just found your channel enjoyed what I saw ,this is my first video. I live in a little town called Monticello about a half a mile from the lake , not sure why it would be , loggy I think I heard you mentioned that, I assumed you were referring to washed down trees in the water and not the other kind of logs,I can't remember a big storm but as I say I spend most of my time in the air conditioning, anyhow once again nice video, I would have liked to had you say the name to the spots that you were going by and stopping at it's been a while since I've been on the lake and was not for sure about a couple of places, have fun, be safe and we pray you get to make it for the September run. I mentioned watching your video to my wife and about the logs and she said it it's been a lot of trash this spring in the lake, she spends more time on it than I do, you mentioned about people cleaning it up and we have a couple of cleanup weekends twice a year but nothing that could handle the type and size of the logs, plus I think it's over 1100 miles of shoreline so it would take quite a budget to clean it up, anyhow goodbye again stay safe out there.

We have been coming to that area my whole life. It’s my favorite place. As long as I have been on lakes my whole life I have never seen that many floating logs and huge branches. The water level was up and everything from the banks had washed back into the water. I had never been on Cumberland before. It was a beautiful lake. Will be bringing more lake content to the channel for sure. Thank you again for the support. It means a lot

A lot of people are sort of scared of what the economy will do to the fall rentals and store sales they said a lot of store by that, stay safe and we pray that you get to enjoy your trip while on our lake.

How fast were you running ? It looked like I run my 40ft express cruiser faster than your speed boat lol
We topped at 62 during the run my boat is a lot faster with the 598sci motor that’s in it but with the chop that we were going through we would stay around 55mph my top end is around 80mph
Where did you put the boat in at?
The state dock.
What dates does this run
there are 2 runs the big thunder run is in june. I don't know what the dates are for this next year but last year it was the 3rd weekend. Then the september poker run is the 2nd weekend in september.

What happened to the Hammer down, I live in southeast Kentucky on lake Cumberland but a small town if something bad happened I never hear about it but hopefully it's not bad, thxs for the info.
@@glbaker5595 one of the stern drives was ripped off by a tree floating just below the water that weekend. Totaled the boat.
@@andrewwyman3675 man I sure hate that, yeah they say that there's a lot of stuff in the lake that's normally not there this time of year I've not been on it since maybe early March , well stay safe out there and thanks for the info
