What have u heard about midnight’s? I don’t live where there are a lot of them. There are two on the lake that I live on but don’t know the people that own them. This isn’t a sarcastic question either, I really want to know?
@@markmorgan5892 a close friend of mine owned a green one for over a million dollars. Issues with lots of things including outboards and stabilizing system. Electronics, quality control issues. small tip, look on those boats where no one usually looks at, you'll see horrible craftsmanship.
I believe every boat is different from them so this is a very personal experience. Other owners with a full on 2500hp decked out 43' or so perhaps don''t have any issues but stuffing occasionally ::D
@@francescoschettino5726 yeah that’s why I asked, cause I looked at them at MIBS in 2020 before covid hit and I looked in the bilge area and all that and I agree with u 100% about the craftsmanship. Looks really good on the outside but it’s like they forgot to put any attention or effort into all the other places. And if your paying over a million bucks for a boat, I expect every single square mm to have had attention put in to it!!!

After seeing that 2.6 million dollar Scout 530 XLF, this and every other big center console looks like a lump of crap in comparison. Even hcb and cigarette. Scout is one of the best builders in the world. And you're now they have this new carbon-fiber and Kevlar hull, running 70 plus mph. Something I love about the scout is the three bedroom center console, the fly bridge, the live bait Wells all over, EXTREME fish ability (WHY HAVE A CENTER CONSOLE YOU CAN'T FISH OFF OF) and THE HYDRAULIC FOLD DOWN SIDES!!!!
quad 400's is probably the ideal set up for that heavy 43'... nice vid.

You guys know my father. He set up your Dads boat and Deris’s Donzi. Gene Weeks. Both beautiful boats that handle their business. Your Dad has the best Donzi ever built. Ran 137.5 before it was shipped over seas. Anymore power than the 1250’s and you run out of bottom.

Midnight Express is the best! Amazing new ride.. Just curious why he opted for only Quad 400R's and not the Quint 450R's? For 1.6 you can get the new 43 Solstace Carbon Fiber with Quint 450's, and this was 1.3? DJ is living the life!
I am thinking he went with the 400's because of the shortage of 450's and he didn't want to wait for the 450's to come in?
Sounded like he got it used from what he said about it not being taken care of before he got it.
These new midnight express boats are garbage. They are all having major delamination issues. Stay in safe shallow water.

Disappointed, no boat specs, capabilities, or other amenities. At the end of the video, I know no more than I knew at the start. Well I shouldn’t go that far, I do know a few things more such as the cuddly cabin below and that it has a bow thruster.

What a giant waste of money
Isn't the only reason to own a boat like that to show it off to people and go fast. Where are the seat belts? It doesn't look like a good fishing or swimming platform. You could charge people for a high energy high speed ride but at 1.3 mil. that's a lot of butts in the seats. It's pretty, but not my style. Maybe if I won the lottery I would change my mind.
