Don't need a custom kmember for those that are reading this, stock 3v engine pedestals bolt up to the LS and attach to the stock mount locations. Then all you have to worry about is a transmission crossmember. That's what I'm running on mine Tons of clearance too
As a fellow procharged 3.7 ( before you moved on) I debated doing some sort of swap. I feel your pain the 3.7 is a great motor but 500 whp if about the limits. I run mine on 8psi (93 octane) I was good for 434 whp. E85 I touched on 464 whp. My best track time for 1/4 was a 11.80 at 124 mph on gas / 11.71 at 125 on e85. My car is a daily driver. Stock 2:73, shorty headers, axlebacks, ported intake and throttle body , everything down to cats still stock. I have put 73,000 on the supercharger. I have watched all your videos. At first I was torn about the swap now I'm digging it. By chance did you ever look into super six motorsports 4.0 stroker kit? I was told there kit is good for 750bhp vs 600bhp stock.
Question, will your air and heat etc work? So the stock gauges won't work at all? If you wanted them to work how would you do that? Is it possible to make that happen? Interested in doing this swap to a 3v car.
Have you started/finished this swap yet? No swap of this magnitude is easy (or cheap). I put a windsor in my 2012, and I didn't care about some stuff that might twist you up, such as a/c and heat. Getting the motor bolted into the car will be relatively easy, but it's the little shit that will bind you up, and how bound up you get will depend on the concessions you feel like you can get away with. BTW, I also used a Holley EFI setup on mine.
Thinking about doing this myself to an 06. More than likely roller small block out of a fox body and a 5 speed. Any tips or things you ran into that i should look out for? Parts you had to fab up?
With the holley ecu and wiring harness do all your interior features work like window motors, dash gauges and does your car have track apps or is 2013 the first year track apps started.
The Holley ECU only controls the engine and possibly fuel delivery, the body control module controls windows, lights, etc. This also means your fuel guage should still work. When you start major swappage like this, your water/oil gauges (or idiot lights) won't work correctly. Speedo works off an electrical connection to the trans, so depending on what you do there, you mileage may vary. The tach works off the crank position sensor, and there may be a solution to adapt the oem tach to the holley, but I've never personally heard of such a device being available.
I'm going to be getting a custom one made. To answer your question however, I theoretically could have got my aluminum V6 shaft modified to adapt to the Tr6060. (Deffs not the stock V6 one though,cause they do not hold power at all)

Everyone has been trying to tell me not to, but it only makes me want to do it more. Just trying to answer any questions I can think of before I drive in head first. Did you have to modify your control arms at all?

No I never considered it as an option. By that time I already had my heart set on the LS swap

This is awesome, do you use the stock gt rearend? Also does the driveshaft fit the tremec and the gt rearend?

what about the drive shaft?
Why did you go x max and not just x your manual?
Did you replace the driveshaft or can the one for the 3.7 handle the extra power?
And what control arms did you get
