    The butt pastes doesn't help used alone/ by itself. It has to be used in combination with first applying a good moisterizer of choise ; - then applying the zinc oxyde cream as a final top layer. As the zinc oxyde product I recommend Weleda's "White Mallow Baby Nappy Change Cream". It's softer and melts better into the skin.

      Oooooh, that’s explaining why zinc cream makes my skin looks like dry cookie

    • @saram3156

      Is this true if your skin isn't dehydrated? Skin moisturizes itself from the inside out. Unless zinc paste is itself dehydrating?

      @@いするぎみお , exactly! I recommend Weleda "White Mallow Face Cream" or Weleda "Almond Face Cream" or "Almond Face Lotion" as first layer of moisterizer. Let it sink into the skin. Then apply the "White Mallow Nappy Change Cream". Apply all this 1-2 hours before bedtime so it can be absorbed and benefit your skin overnight. All these moisterizers are for very sensitive or sentizised skin, and of course dry skin. (The White Mallow is Weleda's baby skincare btw) Any moisterizer with hyeralonic acid should be avoided. That's why these Weleda skin products are perfect.

    • @elowyn9664
      @elowyn9664 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +15

      @@saram3156, if you have oily skin you might possibly don't need it, I'm a little uncertain about it. I do belive a light moisterizer first is better even for a normal or balanced skin. A zinc oxyde cream is very good for a damaged or disturbed skin barrier, a condition which always causes dry skin. But by all means, it's probably no problem to use the Weleda White Mallow zinc oxyde cream alone. The result will instantly be visible the next morning. If your skin is not silky soft and looks dry, then you should add a moisterizer of choise first next time. (I recommend everyone to avoid hyeralonic acid though as it soaks moisture out of your deepest skin layers)

      @carleymorris4595 tbh I use it every night since I have breakouts (from picking at my skin due to stress) I use it as a spot treatment after my nightly skincare because I don't love the texture all over my face at night. I feel like it's also helping w my fresh scars and larger pores. The brand I use is Boudreaux's Butt Paste but I'm sure any brand would work. Also I just started this very recently this is just my fresh experience not real advice or recommendations lol I just see it working every day

    I've used this for years! But it works best if you properly moisture the skin first. So layer serums and hydrators first, maybe niaciamide, maybe even something like Cicaplast and only in the end, a little bit of bum paste. The result is a calm, clear, beautiful skin. 👌🏻

    I came and searched for this video. I used an active after a beach trip (used a ton of sunscreen but it's florida and I had not been in the sun since October). My face has been so sensitive ever since and dry. I was organizing under my sink and found some zinc oxide. Put it on and kept it on for hours. Did this today. Started a skin regime other than just Ponds recently based on your info. Went to the farmers market today and - despite practically *painting* myself in sunscreen - my vampire pale skin still got too much sun and I’ve been uncomfortable all day. So I skipped my actives tonight, moisturized like crazy, and caked on the zinc. This was the first time my face has felt ok since I got home. 10/10 would recommend.
