In the process of redoing my 67 F-250 also, have a 76 FE 390 and the original 4 speed, I am going to keep the divorced transfer case Dana 24, have bought 2 donor trucks for parts as I needed a cab and bed, have mine stripped down to the frame and motor on the engine stand, I am enjoying watching your build,
@@BradWonderly what a cool project you have going. It sure is great to have extra parts. Keep us updated on your progress! I'm so glad you are enjoying my build. Thanks for being an active part of it.
The orange and white will look good! I personally think Wimbledon white with the white on your wheels will look like a mistake since its 2 different shades of white. The wheels look good against just about any factory color for sure...but on a 2 tone , I think they should match one of the colors. Its coming along nicely though!
@chevelleranch7481 I have thought about that as well. But then I saw one, and it looked amazing. I think it's because they are separated enough to make it work. If it does bug me, I can paint the wheels later. Good input. Thank you.
I love the truck! Have you seen the electric power steering kits for the Highboys? If so, what are your thoughts? Do you think they are a safe option for someone looking to convert? Thanks!
I haven't used them yet, but I've seen a lot of them out there. I can't talk much about the safety factor. But I would recommend calling and talking with them in detail about it.
These are the Superlug 9.00/16 tires. I love the look of them. And they are a high quality tire. I'm just not sure about them being bias ply for a truck I will drive often. Lots of guys love them.
Ya more work on the truck and less talking and telling what you did . Let's see the actual work being down .. I'm new to your channel and would like to see more as I'm a f150 owner for the last 40 years ..
Thanks for the feedback. For this video, I had a gopro set up with a room mic recording everything we did on New Year's Day. But I reviewed the footage and found that I had left the camera on super-wide view from our dirtbike riding. It was great footage, but we looked like we were 2 feet tall and 6 feet wide. 😂 It was hilarious. Next time, I will have it set right. Thank you for being a part of this. I hope you enjoy the build.

Paints going to look amazing!!!!
@@greenshovel I want to paint it right now! So bad!
Nice going to be a nice ford pick truck
The Cordova is what we called "burned" orange when I was a kid. (early '70s) It''ll look fine. All the white will make it pop!!
Yea, I'm so excited to get color on it. Classic beauty.
My god it's gorgeous at this stage. ❤
If you buy a lift you get a raised arm that goes on the driver side, that is with a Chevy lift
Ahh. Yea they might even be available for this. Thanks for the info. Good stuff.
@ yeah call rough country, nice guys I’ve talked to them a lot,
I did a soulless innovation tank on my 71 truck and modified a Jerry can for my fill neck.
That's a great idea. I would love to see that. Thanks for being a part of this.
I dunno if you have instagram but I can share it
@calderboysa i do. Fox Tail Adventures.

Where did you get that tank from? I need one for my ‘67 f100
I got it from Summit. But remember that this is a 79 frame. So I'm not sure if it fits the 67-72 frame.
@@foxtailadventuresframe rails still 33” wide on a 79?
@@ryancohlmeyer7070 37.5 outside / 33.75 inside.
Nice 😏👌
Enjoying the build. Is the white an actual white or is it cream colored? Thanks for sharing
The white on the wheels is currently a bright white. But Wimbledon White is more of a cream white.
Where are you in Utah. Would like to connect and get some insight as my son has a highboy
@@tyberrett I am in Boise, Idaho.
@tyberrett but it would be great to meet you. If you find yourself up this way, stop in and we will have a great day.
@foxtailadventures thank you. Your truck looks amazing
What transmission are you using? Great build!
It's a Tremec TR4050 5 speed. From Advance Adapters. I'm excited to drive it with this close ratio manual.
