- The 2024 Nissan Patrol Warrior by Premcar is in the business of shaking things up - with an Australian twist. Based on the Y62 Patrol, the Warrior is the product of a collaboration between Nissan Australia and Melbourne-based engineering firm Premcar, which was behind Ford Performance Vehicles (FPV) in the heyday of Aussie car manufacturing.
Much like the Navara Warrior dual-cab pick-up before it, the Patrol Warrior upper-large SUV ups the 4WD ante with a series of adventure-focused upgrades, all of which attempt to establish it at the top of the off-road pecking order. As such, the new Toyota LandCruiser GR Sport is firmly in its proverbial sights.
In this news video, CarsGuide Deputy News Editor John Law goes to the Patrol Warrior's manufacturing facility to get up close and personal with its MY24 update, which ushers in an overdue multimedia system upgrade that includes touring maps. So, is this 4x4 wagon the default choice for adventurers?

This car is very beautiful. In a word that cannot be compared.
Rocking the smoko. Good to know.👍
Here's another revised version of your statement:
I am concerned about the safety of the car design. The infotainment navigation screen is mounted too low, which seems like a lazy approach without redesigning the dashboard layout to accommodate modern Android Auto/Apple CarPlay demands. I worry that this positioning takes the driver's eyes away from the road for too long.
the ford rangers is lower
They loose 360 cameras from old model
Thanks
And when will you guys be exporting them here to the UK?
The infotainment screen looks aftermarket af
it basically is
@7:18 mark, has Premcar got rear directed exhausts as well as side exit exhaust pipes?
Correct
Is the tyre pressure monitoring system retained?
I don’t believe that this aftermarket unit has the CanBus interface nor the necessary App developed to support the TPMS. So no tyre pressure monitoring.
Australia should build our own cars at this point
Because that worked so well last time.
Expensive Band-Aid!
That makes the expensive Landcruiser an open wound needing stitches!
@@TA-wg9oi Yep!
Wow..50K cheaper than a cruiser and they're in stock......
Vintage vibes
But they killed off the cameras
Is this a PROMOTION
Nobody cares. It's a good video about a good vehicle.
Somebody please inform Nissan its 2024
With that v8 exhaust note , capability & almost luxury levels of driver comfort , I couldn’t care less if it had an AM radio & windup windows 👍😃
if it aint broke dont fix it
Lol mans crosses his arms when he turns steering wheels. LOL have to share roads with someone like this
Some very expensive superficial tweaking, it's not a production line as the vehicles have already been produced by Nissan, as you can tell I'm sceptical 😅
ill never sell my y62
