Austin Debrie go to an exotic vet that’s comfortable with snakes. Call ahead to make sure. If you cannot afford the money in one drop, they have carecredit (you apply for it online) or you can call ahead and ask them if they will do a payment plan. He’s a 19 year old with a love for animals. NOT a substitute for a vet.
I was wondering how quickly would someone get a response back for a rehome? I think I sent an email the other day to emeraldscales but I'm not sure if it went through. It was about 3 baby box turtles

Hey, So i’m the previous owner of the Ball python and the guy he drove to meet. She’s a girl, her name is Bonnie and she is a Silver Streak. I miss her UGR didn’t tell me her age, or whether she had eaten or not, this was my first reptile so it’s been a really hard experience.
Don't get discouraged by this experience. Buying from a reputable breeder is completely different. Thank you for trying your best for Bonnie and making the difficult decision to rehome her
Seeing so many people neglecting these animals, even when given plenty of instruction, it makes me lose faith in the hobby. Emerald Scales seems like one of (if not the only) company that actually wants reptiles to have a decent quality of life.
I bought my savanna monitor liz from Snakes at Sunset (breeder website), its a good web. Me and basically all other buyers bought healthy baby savs, and good tempered too!
I think it's safe to say that people should be prompted to think about what their ideal pet is. Not what they _could_ have, but what they _should_ have. Pets are not accessories, they are living beings that deserve respect and attention.
Coastal Coyote yeah, I have a Bearded Dragon and those work best with me because I can’t drive and I go to school. I would like another reptile but my parents don’t want another one.
@@coastalcoyote Honestly, I'd just go through sites trying to find an ideal breed. For me, I need a dog that doesn't shed. I don't have allergies or anything, but small furs agitate me, and I don't want my dog to agitate me. I also want a larger dog, but one that doesn't require more food than my existing dogs. Story time! When I going to turn 16, for my birthday, I wanted a ball python! I look much into them, the set up, healthcare, feeding, possible sicknesses ect... And after being comfortable with the idea of possibly owning one, I went to look at breeders for about a month or two before October aka the month of my birthday. And I came down to ‘Under ground reptiles’ which seemed as a good idea at the time. We (my mom and I) looked around on the website for the Ball pythons I was wanting. Which was basically a ‘bit lighter, not natural looking snake’ because my brother is autistic! So as we looked we found one! A albino ball python. But as we went to order it they just sold them all! So, my mom called them, because we had payed for the snake but something went off with it all and they said to call... so we did! They helped with fining a new snake. With understanding of my brother being autistic and all. And , the stinger bee came up! She was absolutely beautiful! However, they had just got her in, without keeping her at least a few days, making sure she would eat or was even healthy they chose to agree to adjust some things and we agreed aswell to take her without knowing the possibilities. So a day or so goes by and she finally makes it here! And let me tell you I was in love! She was such a beauty, so adorable! And surprisingly active to be so stressed. So after taking her out of the box and snapping a quick photo we put her in her enclosure so she could get adjusted....a week later we tried to get her out and handle her. Which went great! But I noticed she looked alittle thin, and this was around the time we were going to try to feed her so I put her back. The next day, we went out and got the frozen mouse to give her-as they said she was eating well. But, She didn’t take it. She hid. So, me being the 16 year old I was I thought she just needed time and I put her back-I waited again and tried but she didn’t take it. Frozen or live! This went on for a few months! She was so young it effect her greatly so. I took her to my friend whom was studying to be a vet and had/still has many reptiles, she helped with force feeding her which was the last thing I wanted to do. But, Sarabi (the snake) finally ate! After what was 4 months I think she ate! For that day I was the happiest 16 year old there was. She seemed fine for the rest of the week. She acted fine when I would mist her enclosure, she was fine when I would clean her water and fill it up. But, not once did I check on her. So, a day or so after cleaning I check her and her stomach caved in. We rushed to my friend and she said to get a vet appointment ASAP. So we did for the next day as early as we could! However, the morning came and my mother went to get her and Sarabi had passed. I tell you all this to say-Look into the breeders you’re buying from, do even more research then you think you need and make sure the animal has ate! I was 15, almost 16 and I didn’t think it all through, I made mistakes! But now being 18, I plead that you all MAKE SURE you know all you can about the pets you want. Look into them deeply and the people you get them from! Don’t do what I did. I was too excited and didn’t see the red flags within it all. So please, always look into the animal as much as you can that you are interested in! 😊
Alayna Nicole my RES is named Sarabi! I'm so sorry you lost your snake, it's never easy and it sucks that it can be so difficult to find a reputable breeder ://

The irony that other companies are so excited for money that their animals end of neglected and fall into your hands for proper care. Keep up the great vids, it's amazing to see you mature and learn more as you go along!
We got a blizzard yesterday so the whole snow thing made me laugh. Because I wish we had like 1-4mm of snow instead of the 30-50 we got... I too dislike snow...
Those mountains are beautiful. I’ve never left South Carolina so seeing that stuff is super foreign for me. Best of luck to the tegu and python! They seem hardy so my hopes are high.
I really wanna see film of you rehabilitating that beardie from the last unboxing video. The stuck shedding was horrible but I really wanna see how you took it off and took care of it 🥺❤️
well done you for trying to save the ball python. i have had an incredibly frustrating time getting RI out of my collection lately. i have lost several snakes trying to find the right medicine. thankfully tylosin 200 seems to be working. extremely upsetting watching your pets pass.
My family owned a Red foot for 12 years but finally had to rehome him. Luckily we found him an awesome home with a guy who keeps only redfoots because they are his favorite. I highly recommend them as well. They have a lot more personality than you might first think. I would like to maybe keep one again in the future. If I ever get another tortoise it will be a Redfoot
Most important thing about driving on mountainous terrain? Use your lower gears and do NOT stand on your brakes. Prolonged friction will cause them to heat up and warp, sometimes so badly that they fail or cause further damage to your wheel housing. Lower gears will naturally keep your car moving slower downhill so you ride your brakes less. Be safe, my friend, and keep up the amazing work you do. You save lives and that is a beautiful beautiful thing ♥
I got my B&W tegu from underground reptiles 7 months ago, and I'm shocked at how fast they grow lol. I didn't have any problems with my order from them, sad to see so many ppl do.
It’s sad that so many people just don’t care about the animals that they have paid to own the lives of. That somebody can work to obtain a living organism and then to discard it so flippantly baffles me.
Does the channel have any videos on the best snakes to have as a pet for a beginner? If not, I think that'd be a good idea. I've seen a few from others already, but I'd really like your opinion. Especially after the video on the ball python spider morph. I never knew that was even an issue. Or even a video on specific morphs that beginners should avoid. The irony that other companies are so excited for money that their animals end of neglected and fall into your hands for proper care. Keep up the great vids, it's amazing to see you mature and learn more as you go along!
Awe it's good though you're giving those animals a second chance to a happy and healthy life
when you were filming the drive I noticed pilot mountain, the big knob up on a hill, and I live about two hours away from there!!
I'm glad that poor guy has a chance now!
I can't wait to get my axolotl 🤗 just waiting on my tank to cycle!
Heart of gold❤️
You are an amazing guy.
Keep doing what your doing
It's always a pleasure saving animals keep up the good work
Thankfully tegus brumate over winter.
We got a blizzard yesterday so the whole snow thing made me laugh. Because I wish we had like 1-4mm of snow instead of the 30-50 we got... I too dislike snow...
your vlogs are my favorite
Thanks for caring for snakes and other reptiles!
Those mountains are beautiful. I’ve never left South Carolina so seeing that stuff is super foreign for me.
Best of luck to the tegu and python! They seem hardy so my hopes are high.
Hey! I live in NC and both Virginia and SC are beautiful in their own ways, but take a trip up to VA when you can!!! It’s the prettiest state ever
South Carolina has some beautiful mountains, I live in sc and we go to the mountains almost every weekend.
I had a dream when I was taking a nap earlier that Alex and I were playing with LEGO’s.🤷♂️😆
awww the ball python owner really cared it sucks that they had to give it up
I really wanna see film of you rehabilitating that beardie from the last unboxing video.
8:43 awww pooor baby! hope he will be ok> hes so pretty and adorable!
Love these vlogs
I'm in love with the ball python, what a cutie.
I used to live in NC and every time we went up to PA we would pass by the mountain at 5:07 and as i kid I always called it pimple mountain lol
Thank goodness for someone like you! Was that a purple passion? Poor baby!
Cute lil baby ball, make sure he makes it, ok?
Thanks for everything u have done u r my favourite TH-camr
Oh my god that snake is so cute!
Those glasses are everything
Theres a pun to the name UNDERGROUND reptiles....
That's because you need to bury them.
😉
I got my B&W tegu from underground reptiles 7 months ago, and I'm shocked at how fast they grow lol. I didn't have any problems with my order from them, sad to see so many ppl do.
Say “I’ve driven around the smokies a lot” me: gets excited because I have too and live close to them
It’s sad that so many people just don’t care about the animals that they have paid to own the lives of. That somebody can work to obtain a living organism and then to discard it so flippantly baffles me.
All you can do is your best x
What happened to that SUPER skinny normal ball python you got in your unboxing 2 video? It was the one that was way far gone but it had will to live
Pretty sure it died ☹️
There was a message at the very end of that video that it didn’t make it.
When you're roasts are also facts.
Love the channel and learning about these animals.
I really like your vlogs cuz you do something very interesting and are a very cool person.
I want this snake so bad 💙 ever since the second I saw it I hope it makes it
Good job
100 mil club represent!
Hope the python makes it. Best of luck!
