Always lovely to catch up with you two 😁💕... Glad you got over your nasties 🙏. You've been busy again and you must be very loved by your grandchildren 🥰😘
I'm not sure why but at the moment we are always busy with grandchildren. My eldest has just turned up for a week having finished her gcse exams and is on holiday until September. She was getting bored at home because everyone else was either at work or at school. So she decided to catch a train and venture 4 hours North to see her grandparents. 😜👍😉😘
So sorry to hear about the Covid thing but glad to hear you’re both doing better. Part of my growing up was in Guam. I used to watch the B52 bombers take off & land.
thanks Sally. the specs were purchased a couple of years back and I never wore them because I thought they were far too big. little did I know that a new big glasses trend was around the corner.😜👍😘
Well hello there! So nice to see you. I've missed you but figured you were busy with Summer activities. Thank you for the visit and you both look great.
Glad to see you and good to know youre feeling better from the dreaded Covid. When we brought our kids over in 1977 we went to Beamish, it must have changed a lot since then. We have Fort Edmonton here that has done the same thing, different streets from different eras and everybody who has come over and visited loves it. Best part is the actual fort though, for most people. It's great that these living museums preserve our history. I stil have a bottle, empty now of course, of Beamish black bullets sweets. Plus a little bottle of Tizer and another of Brown Ale. 😊 Hope your sunny weather stays around for you. Our weather has been cool and damp as well but it was neeeded for the farmers. I like your seat belt pad, what a good idea, those belts can be very uncomfortable. Take care. 😎👍
golly 1977 well it has definitely changed since then. in fact it was 2 years since we were last there and there have been quite a few additions. Fort Edmonton sounds very interesting too. I have to look it up on the internet. 😉👍
Lovely catch up chat with you and His Lordship. I’m sorry to hear that you both were sick, but glad you’re on the mend. Looking forward to seeing your makes. Happy sewing, Michou.
I was so glad to see you pop up on my feed! Ronnie and I have Covid, too. We got meds yesterday so hopefully we will be better soon. I have sewn a little lately, nothing too special.
Im so glad you feel better! I know covid can be pretty nasty. I carry a little card in my purse with my vaccination shots recorded. I always assume that you are ok, just busy... It sounds like your renters were awesome. Grandma time is so awesome for me, i just have to drive about 3 hours ( including pit stops) to their house. But they are coming for the weekend July 14th! Can't wait 😁 I ALWAYS enjoy your vlogs, so look forward to seeing a new one. I love historical sites like Bemish. And FYI your hair looks very nice! Anything to Brian also...
Thanks Janice. Yes, looking after grandchildren seems to be taking a lot of time for us at the moment. The younger ones just went off the other day and my eldest granddaughter who has just finished her exams and is now on her holidays until September. Decided to come and visit us for a week because the rest of the family are either at work or at school and she was getting bored. Grandparents to the rescue to entertain her 😉😜😘
thank you. we're still around but these grandkids are filling my day so much I don't have time to vlog! the eldest goes home on Wednesday so, hopefully soon.
So good to see you both glad that you are both doing well. Glad you are having fun traveling and being with your grandchildren. Sorry about the covid that is no fun. Take care hope to see you again soon. ❤😊
Thanks Verna. Grandkids are making it very difficult to find time to vlog at the moment. The eldest has turned up for a week because she's finished her gcse's and is getting bored at home on her own while everyone it at work or school. Grandparents to the rescue!!!😉😘
The first time you went this year it wasn't very good weather, but it wasn't so bad for it to stop us from going again. I think it's probably good because it's almost on our doorstep so we had to pay for an annual membership and we've been four times already. I reckon we've just about covered everything in Beamish now, but it's not a bad trip out in the middle of the week when it's not so busy. 😊👍😘
Hello both lovely to see you again I’ve had my jab and didn’t think you could get it so thanks for the heads up , I’ve seen something about mRNA not being good so was thinking about not having the jab again but I’ve not had ant problems before so I’ll carry on having it ,as I had an aortic valve replacement so I can’t afford to get it ? Anyway nice to see you again . I wore my jacket yesterday ,really confortable xxx
One of my many pairs. New bought a few years back but I thought they were too big. Now big frames are back in fashion I thought I should get them out. 😉😘👍
Oh my goodness you have both been sick again. Those grandchildren and their germs are going to knock you off your perches yet. So far we haven't had COVID. Fingers crossed. The good sea air keeps us healthy I guess. Glad you are feeling better. They do say to avoid air planes, cruise ships and children. lol
You can't beat being in fresh air to avoid catching bugs. Being near Sea Air sounds really lovely. We're looking forward to doing that in the coming weeks. 👍😉😘
Do you mind if I raise my head above the parapet to advise His Lordship that he's 100% wrong in his assertion that circulation of air in planes is the cause for spreading bugs and illnesses! The majority of passenger aircraft now have HEPA (high-efficiency particulate air) filtration systems where approx 40% of filtered air is re-circulated, with 60% being fresh air from outside. If someone using their hand to cover their mouth whilst coughing then walks up the aircraft aisle putting that hand on the seat/headrest as they pass through the cabin, they are depositing those bugs/viruses onto a surface that someone else can then touch. Same applies to the drop-down table, the handles of the overhead bins, toilet door handle. Covid-19 viruses can live for up to 12 hours on a non-permeable surface. Also bear in mind that you can be infected with the Covid-19 pathogens for up to 14 days before showing any symptoms! For Influenza, the incubation period is a mere 2 days. Regular hand-washing is far more effective than avoiding air travel. ✈🛫🛬 🥰
Thanks I shall read this out to him and correct him. I can only say that 5 relatives have recently flown abroad for holidays and within 3 days of landing ended up I'll with covid. Spoiling their holiday. So yes it's more than likely from touching or inhaling air from someone coughing. 😉😘 I know he and are convinced we caught our covid in a restaurant. A table of 4 ladies sat on the next table were coughing and funnily enough the remarked in their coughing. 2-3 days later we caught covid.
Good to see you. You look marvelous with those glasses. Hello to your lordship.
Great to see you both back again... You have been missed. Your hair look great short Michou. xx
