The dresses are lovely as are the shirts but the patchwork duster is especially fabulous!!! Don’t worry about the vlogging- much healthier to be out and about. Love the fabrics too. Happy Sewing 😊. Lynne
Oh thank you Lynne. I've been making small snippets to put together. I had to get a new phone and computer and it's taken me a bit of getting used to. Hence the delay. 😉👍😘
Oh your a shortie like me. I’m just a bit under 5’2”. I love your makes and what lovely fabric. Been taking care of our grandchildren also. Girl 6 and boy 4. Boy are they a handful. We have been down in Florida but leave Monday to go back to Virginia. Have a Happy Easter.
Lovely to see you again. Your fabric purchase looked lovely. I look forward to seeing your makes when you do them.i loved your shirt and the fabrics you used love to you both x
@michoumakes that's great,I've not done any sewing for must be 9 month or more,I had ulcers on my heel of my foot last September 😳 and I'm still struggling to work 😫 I am having to use a walking frame. But I'm hopefully that I will he better soon and can get back to sewing again. I have been doing cross stitch I had in my stash, I'm learning how to read a crochet pattern that's simplified for a cardigan. And sone dog blankets for our dog and the family using up my wool stash ,love to you both until next time we meet 😆 🤣 ❤️ x
I've never seen you wear anything like the printed duster. I really like it and it looks very flattering on you. What a versatile garment. I'm speaking for myself but I like the idea of learning from you what you learned from the classes you took. It would be fun designing our own clothes. (If you think we are capable) No wonder you adapt patterns so easy for yourself.
I like that you call it a duster coat. I do think it will get some wear once our British sunshine finally decides to make an appearance for longer than 30minutes. 🤨😉😂😘
Oooh…. I love the orange floral fabric. Pretty makes. Sweet you got to spend time with the granddaughters making memories. Tell the “grinch” we agree he needs a haircut. 😂 Thanks for the visit!
the purple dress is just like the latest vlog that I've done. It's the cashmerette turner dress. A very popular one for beginners and a quick make. 👍😉😘
Great makes & love the patchwork shirt. Think the fabric you bought from 1st for fabrics will make a stunning dress, can’t wait to see that made up. Hope your Easter weekend is going well but did you manage to get the ‘grinch’ to have his hair cut? Cheers Ali ❤
I'm still battling to cut his hair Alison! He says I can cut it but every time I suggest 'shall I don't now?' he responds with 'later'. Then the next day suddenly comes around.😂😘
I spend most of my time telling him he needs his hair cut! 🫣 I threaten him by telling him that even gypsies have tidier hair! 🤔🫤 I then have to put on my teacher voice and say "you will sit down and I will cut your hair" then he finally lets me? 😜😉❤️

thanks Lynne. I've now got back into the root of vlogging and so I'm happy to do the odd vlog now and again. watch this space. 😉👍😘
I really enjoyed your video. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it Linda. 👍😉😘
Oh I have that shirt. Thanks for the inspiration, I love your long versions.
+@janehammond1322 it's an easy make Jane. here's hoping you love it as much as I do. 😉👍😘
I especially like a long shirt to go with trousers. I think it hides an awful lot of bumps and bulges.
🫣😉😘

I love Beamish but the 50s town is a bit overwhelming, my childhood.
I like the top you have on!
Thanks. I didn't make it though. It was an amazing buy that was grey. I didn't like the colour do I dyed it purple. 😉👍😘
