With regard to the intro-
The fact that you put out such quality, beautifully researched, well edited and presented content on such a regular basis is remarkable.
You might not be Einstein or Plato but when it comes to TH-cam, you’re more like the Jarrod Bowen. Both brilliant and underrated at the same time, beloved by a more discerning type of football fan and inextricably linked with Hull.
Keep it up man. You are an important part of a lot of people’s day.
Paddy Outback sounds like a dummy account Alfie would make. His videos have far too may posts like this from different accounts that all seem to write in the same style....

My claim to fame, playing in the same trial match for Rushden & Diamonds under 16’s as Lee Tomlin. I think he scored 5 in about 30 minutes but I did save a penalty from him. Needless to say he makes this list and now my back hurts walking up the stairs 😂
Thats brilliant 😂 my only two claims to fame were going to the same school as Bournemouth defender Adam Smith while in 6th form and also William Troost-Ekong while at secondary school. Smith was gone by the time I got to 6th form, and I never spoke to Troost-Ekong at secondary 🤷♂️😂
Haha no I’m not still playing football, letting in about 8 goals in a trial match doesn’t exactly get you another match 😂

As a Yeovil fan, I and I'm sure many others are always pleased to see him playing in the Premier league. He may have been in arsenal's academy but he came of age at yeovil. I'm sure we all knew he'd do well, but to see him playing week in week out in the Premier league was beyond what I thought he'd do, so chuffed for him, he'll always be one of our own.
You're making some quality content, only getting better as you go and the fact that you're a fellow Hull City fan just makes it all the better!

Ayling, White and Harrison. All students of Marcelo Bielsa’s teachings of the beautiful game. Just shows how Bielsa can transform a player, as he has done so with Phillips, Bamford and Dallas as well as the three in the video. ¡Viva Bielsa!

Since I didn't see anyone else say it, I think you're wrong in your calculations.
It's a 5% or 1/20 chance, if you only want to have 2 CBs from the same academy. When you calculate the odds its 20/20 for the first CB (can be from any team) and 1/20 for the second CB (has to be from the same team as the first).
If you were to say "two CBs from Southampton" (or any other team in specific), then it would be 0,25% or 1/400, because then the you would have to calculate the 1/20 odds for the first CB as well.
Now do something similar like players who were released and then played at their rival club e.g Eto’o, Smith Rowe and Kane
The Ben White bit in his introduction is gold, yet another proof why this is best channel on youtune comparable to Einstein.
Also 3 generations of a family to play football. At stockport you have the connors who had 3 generations play for the same team and to top that the youngest Connors both captained the club.
Video idea: xi for each of the top 5 leagues using 1 player from every club
I hope this motivates players released by their academies.. I’ll say they’ve got something to prove 💯

I’m afraid it would only be a one in 20 (5%) chance that both CBS would have been from the same club. The one in 400 chance (0.25%) chance would be the odds of it being Southampton Specifically.
There is not need to multiply the 20 by itself as it had to be one to begin with. You’d only have to multiply by 20 twice if you were looking for Southampton specifically.

5:59 no it would just be 5%. The probability both center backs come from the same club is just the probability that CB number 2 came from club X, where club X is whichever club CB number 1 came from. So it's just 1/20 = 5%.
That’s not how percentages and probability works, there’s a 1/20 chance each of the play for Southampton, so the chance both of them do it 1/20 x 1/20 which would be 0.25%
