I’ve always wondered if Klopp had signed sooner would we have won more? If he had signed when Gillette & Hicks were owners I think he would have just quit in frustration. I feel that L’pool’s transformation is due to everyone, from Klopp’s work on the pitch, FSG’s pragmatic approach , Micheal Edwards transfer & contract work behind the scenes etc. There are great managers at other clubs who have terrible owners & therefore find it hard to progress.

I think Enner Valencia comes in for alot of undue criticism, while he slightly underperformed expectations he was an essential part of the sides he played in (including the Slaven Bilic side which won europa league qualification) and easily outperforms the likes of Jordan Hugil as a transfer who's only impact on a west ham side was to take up a spot on the bench
Ruben Neves is such a predictable choice. Yes, he stared in the Championship, and scored some spectacular goals, but I think that sort of drowns the fact that he's not been as consistent the last two seasons and isn't always in the starting XI. Who then? He was mentioned; Conor Coady! Arrived at the club as a defensive midfielder, didn't really work out, got relegated to RB without success, before Nuno transformed him into a CB/Sweeper. Now he's a regular feature in the England squad and plays everything for the club, and as mentioned a bargain at £2.4m.
Going to have to strongly disagree with the Everton choice. DCL has come quite good, but he's not yet quite top tier and somehow has meant that we've never replaced Lukaku. Gana Gueye or Digne were the best, imho. Gana because he kept our midfield afloat on his own, and was sold on for significant profit, though probably too cheap. Digne has almost replaced Baines, for less than £20m, which is an achievement.

I think Enner Valencia comes in for alot of undue criticism, while he slightly underperformed expectations he was an essential part of the sides he played in (including the Slaven Bilic side which won europa league qualification) and easily outperforms the likes of Jordan Hugil as a transfer who's only impact on a west ham side was to take up a spot on the bench

Ruben Neves is such a predictable choice.
Yes, he stared in the Championship, and scored some spectacular goals, but I think that sort of drowns the fact that he's not been as consistent the last two seasons and isn't always in the starting XI.

Going to have to strongly disagree with the Everton choice. DCL has come quite good, but he's not yet quite top tier and somehow has meant that we've never replaced Lukaku. Gana Gueye or Digne were the best, imho. Gana because he kept our midfield afloat on his own, and was sold on for significant profit, though probably too cheap. Digne has almost replaced Baines, for less than £20m, which is an achievement.
