I think Cesc was a standout player in the prem at Chelsea, and I didnt really follow la liga in 2012 but wasn't Iniesta out on the wing when Cesc arrived, allowing him to go into a midfield with Xavi and Busquets? I do believe though that he did play for some underperforming sides, like Chelsea in 2017-18, definitely one of the best midfielders the prem has ever seen, just unlucky

18 when the PL kicked off in August '92, turned 20 in the November of '93. 100ish top flight appearances if you include the 41 appearances he made in the old First Division.

Contentious purely down to the number of games he played and the selection criteria I used, certainly not because of a lack of talent at that age.
