I love how she actually takes the time to review products before she recommends. So many influences try something one time and then go on telling you how great it is😂
Agreed I love Taylor’s recommendations and really almost exclusively take her recommendations. I also love how she does a mix of high end and dupes/drugstore.
I recently bought the Isntree spf that you recommended in one of your vlogs and honestly it might be the first sunscreen that actually feels nice on my skin and doesn't break me out. Your recommendations never miss! Thank you for your honesty and integrity ❤️
That is true. It is not only about investing but having a finance pro so you don’t loose all of your savings and if you want to be more successful and earn more profits.
For me Taylor and EmilyNoel do such thorough and thoughtful trust worthy recommendations. I’m loving the vitamin c serum she recommends. It’s finally making a difference I can see. I always use the Elf cleansing balm but I just got the AOA green tea one off Amazon and it is really good too. It’s 9.00 but so high end feeling
I just wanna say you helped save my skin Taylor! The Cerave Hydrating Cleanser and Paula’s Choice BHA are my holy grails now. I’ve gotten so many comments on my skin. Thanks girl! You da bomb 😘🤛🏻
Late to the video but I just watched your 2021 skin care routine and the beginning of the video was word for word exactly the same as this video. That’s how I know you are authentically you on your channel and we appreciate it ♥️
I highly recommend the wrist scrunchie towel for washing your face. I always dreaded it and now I don’t mind and actually enjoy it when not getting water everywhere. You’ll use them, promise!
I just wanted to say you are such inspiration and I have been watching you, since before Accutane. You always helped me find great products and gave the best reviews. I just want everyone to know if you are struggling with acne, there is light at the end of the tunnel and always take care of your skin no matter what condition. You are beautiful ❤
Thanks to you I've been a Paula's Choice stan now for about 5 years! Can't go without it and it makes such a difference! I use it at night in my skincare routine, and I'll also use it if I'm going to putting on a full face of makeup. I'll do the Paula's Choice and the e.l.f holy hydration face moisturizer 30-60 mins before and my face is prepped!
I started using rosehip oil after you recommended it ages and it's improved the dryness in my skin, I also love the Paulas choice BHA, I use the lotion version as I like the thicker texture
I love love love the Belif true cream aqua bomb. It gives me this hydrated veil feeling. It's perfect for under makeup on my dry skin. I love it. I love the eye bomb, too. I love Belif in general. Great products!
My fav tinted moisturizer SPF (38 year old and works in construction-outside most of the day) is Australian Gold (stay with me!) Botanical Sunscreen tinted face lotion in 50 SPF. They have 3 different tints -I'm fair -and it says matte finish, but I would say more natural. Never drying, smooths out skin texture and I legit feel protected all day. Thanks for sharing your holy grails Taylor!
Such a great video! My shopping cart is stocked now 😊 I love that you mentioned you bring your products down your neck. My dermatologist suggests that we bring our face products all the way down to the chest and rub it in really good because all of that skin needs anti-aging, brightening and moisturizing love too. Especially sunscreen. I’m so glad I started doing that like 10 years ago in my 30’s because now at 43 my skin is still even, plump and consistent all the way down.
your skin is amazing!!! I was on Accutane for 2 1/2 years and all of my acne has still come back -not the same degree but -some thing I have learned is that they have taught us to be scared of the sun using sunscreen all of the time. we need to be out in the sun without sunscreen daily!! So many humans are deficient in REAL vitamin d. sun is our number one nutrient ! 😄😄 ☀️
This is the first time I watched you because I’ve been wanting to buy Korean brand vitamin C. I was almost going to purchase this from Amazon but I’m going to Wait now because what you said thank you
I bought that bar cleanser and I love it so much. It lives in my shower in an elevated soap dish away from the water. 10/10 favorite water based cleanser I’ve used so far. That elf balm is also amazing 😂
I am also a skincare lady and I really appreciate how approachable your routine is! One of my friends was asking me what she should be doing and I think I confused her 😂 maybe I’ll send this to her as it’s definitely more clear than I was.
I love the cleansing balm!! To anyone that struggles with stubborn black heads and those tiny bumps that u cant pop, I 100% recommend the elf cleansing balm
Taylor when you mentioned Acutane and the year I realized I have been following you for years because I started watching you a long time before that. Thanks for the info on skin care, I will check out some you have mentioned.
always love watching these videos from you. a heads up , though - what you say about vitamin c serums at 16:25 is incorrect. vitamin c serums in general are in fact best to use during the daytime, as they boost the spf and can contribute to further protect the skin from the sun.
You introduced me to CeraVe years ago & I love their moisturizers. & I now have a tween who's using their products. They're so gentle & yet they work so so well.
It is so hard to decide when you and the Braun family drop videos at the same time. You usually win first view, unless they are having a Disney vlog. Both you and Jessica are so enjoyable to watch. I find your videos so informative and relaxing.
I was so encouraged and amazed to have gone through your Accutane journey with you. I use so many of the same products you do because of your recommendations. My holy grail is the K-beauty Scinic Cicanoid Retinal cream. (Retinal is 11 times more effective than a retinol/retinoid!) From this video, I will be buying the Cerave soap bar and the Paula's Choice BHA product.... it's time!!🖤🖤🖤
Omg I am so excited for this video! I’m home sick from work and this popped up! *-* And I’ve been thinking about skincare a lot recently (I’m 33, be 34 this year) and I’m just so excited to get into this videoooooo
Hey Taylor, I love all your videos! I just wanted to mention a great resource for skincare science is Lab Muffin Beauty. I've learned a lot over the years from her about labeling and EU versus US standards (and beyond since she's in AUS.) Similarly, Food Science Babe does a great job explaining these regulations relating to food (and there's a lot of crossover.) I love a lot of products that use misleading marketing I don't agree with, but I still like to know what's worth worrying about and not. I hope this helps you and maybe some of your other subscribers ❤️
My sister-in-law took Accutane many years ago it did wonders, she had exceptionally dry peeling hands i remember, I wish they had that when I was a teenager. I love Farmacy face balm for cleansing my face it feels greasy going on but once you rinse my face feels so good and hydrated, I've ordered it several times since i got it in boxycharm.
Literal thought of you and your channel today! A coworker asked me about my foundation and when I looked up Purito Cica BB cream on Amazon to show her, I saw they now have 3 more shades! Thought you’d like to know 🖤
I actually bought the isintree Hyaluronic acid watery sun gel on Amazon last week and it's blows everything else out of the water. I am so impressed. Definitely recommend
I hate most hand creams too! You've got to try the cerave baby moisturizing cream. I use it in my babies, but also my hands. It sinks in so quickly and leaves my hands feeling moisturized, but absolutely no greasy feeling.
I was almost startled by how good the video quality is when I first pressed play. I'm not confident you used any new(er) gear but the video and you are looking fabulous.
Hi Taylor, vitamin C is recommended to be used in the morning as it reduces sun damage (of course SPF is needed on top of it), it is great antioxidant and improves collagen production. I think that is a very wrong myth not to use vitamin C in the morning. Talking about proper ascorbic acid here, not sure how different derivative of it behave.
I am soooo intrigued by this vitamin C serum 😍 Btw - ordered the makeup sponges from Amazon that you recommended (with the flat side & it comes with two that look like a ❤) and I LOVE them, thank you!!!
How did you know I was looking for a good solid skincare routine....I've been wanting to add a few steps but was unsure about what to add. Thank you so much for this!!!
Oh, man I LOVE the smell of Rose Hip Seed Oil. It is a dead ringer for a core memory- I used to play with my cousins in their old barn (in the hay), and that’s exactly what it smells like. Every time I use it it’s a beautiful memory!
I recently have been able to invest in my skincare a little bit which has been nice to do again because I've always had combo, mostly dry skin with both facial/body acne, and more recently my habit of popping a couple of zits every couple of weeks as I've done for years has turned into a full on compulsive behavior that I do without thinking. I have so much dark scarring to try fading over time, mostly on my back and arms. I've of course started basic just to heal my skin. I've been using the Cetaphil Gentle Clear clarifying acne cleanser on my face, and Cetaphil Smoothing Relief body wash in the shower, and after a shower I don't pat my skin dry with a towel much at all anymore, just enough to not get the floor all wet, instead I'll immediately put the Neutrogena Hydro Boost unscented body lotion all over my face and body while my skin is still damp. I pat on a light layer of Vaseline onto my face, neck, and also rub a little on and behind my ears, plus my elbows and knees. I've also been using the Differin Acne Clearing body spray to further treat my body acne. So far my face is really clear and the sores on my body are mostly healed, and I'm really excited to begin adding in actives that'll fade the scarring. Also I've reduced my picking significantly within the last month. I have caved a few times and picked a few blemishes, but I've stopped letting myself self sabotage by thinking "Already picked a couple and ruined clear skin for myself, might as well go ham." If I start scanning I give myself 10 minutes and I don't let it get to point where I'm covered in sores and hiding from people cause I'd rather them see me looking healthier.
Thank you for keeping it real and doing your makeup b4 doing the video so we can really really see how and what it takes. I appreciate the extra thought.❤
Hi Taylor! I’m an aesthetic nurse and I would totally recommend trying microneedling with PRP treatments or on its own. Preferably look to a medspa/office that uses the skinpen specifically. Morpheus or some form of RF microneedling (uses heat) would also be amazing. I’d recommend a series of 3-6 sessions to see the best results. Essentially the “ damage” caused to the skin will force the skin remodeling process, it’ll ultimately help so much with large pores, textures and fine lines. It’ll definetely help with acne scarring. Adding retinol to your regimen would also be amazing to increase cell rate turnover would target fine lines/wrinkles and scarring as well 💕 Loved you’re video ☺️
I have no idea why, but every time I get microneedling or lasers done, I end up with MAJOr breakouts like cystic acne all over my cheeks and jaw area. They always say it's normal but I haven't heard of anyone else getting it like I have. It's weird because my face is generally clear and I'm not super prone to breakouts. It makes me never want to get anything else done because it's so terrible looking
Instead of the wrist band things, I use two cotton scrunchies on my wrists. They work great 🤷🏻♀️ I can’t compare them to the actual wrist bands bc I’ve never used them but the scrunchies seem to do the job fine and they’re now multi use 😊
I love that you keep your skin routine simple but effective. Now I feel better about myself for only using a cleanser at night and just washing my face with water in the morning😅😂 That Isntree Hyaluronic Acid SPF has been my holy grail for the past two years and I just can't let it go. I recently purchased a different one which I think is a good and a cheaper dupe for this one and it's the FRUDIA Ultra UV Shield Sun Essence SPF50+.
Wow we are totally the same on that PM routine! Since we seem to like the same stuff, I’ll recommend my hg toner, PC advanced replenishing toner, and for lips, next time you’re in Europe try the Nuxe reve de miel.
Yay! Love a skincare routine video from you as always! You discovered any good skincare products on your travels besides the spf ? Would love to see skincare product discoveries when you are on your nomad journey ❤
I started using the Adapalene gel, it's safe to use in the A.M. routine. I even buffer it with my moisturizer and then Sunscreen. So, I can use the acne products like the Benzol Peroxide wash at night and other actives.
Fell off of TH-cam for a bit but coming back and seeing your videos Taylor is a breath of fresh air! I’m so happy for how far you’ve come and how versatile you’ve made your content.🌯✨ Excuse me while I go binge watch all the content I’ve missed 😅
Hi Taylor! If you're looking for a strong retinol product. You should try the Avene Retrinal Intensive Cream (0.1), it's really effective and I layer it over my moisturizer to prevent irritation, since I have sensitive skin.
Love the CeraVe bar! I saw Taylor use it last year and bought it right away and it is better than the liquid by far. Plus it is very easy to travel with.
I just bought the Milani Rose butter lip mask and omg I’m so in love. For $9 I think it’s better than the Linage lip sleeping masks. I’m pretty sure the formula is the same as the avocado mask. It’s also mostly unscented as well. I also bought the new elf spf n from their website right when it came out n it is soooo good. Thx for the recommendation❤️
Everything you say reminds me of Skincare by Hyram. You like all the stuff he likes. Id love to see his reaction to your skincare routine, because i think hed absolutely love this one. ❤
Hi Taylor! What product/shade would you recommend for powder foundation with the Bliss tinted SPF with & without self tanner? You’re one of the only TH-cam beauty influencers whose recommendations actually work for me 99% of the time! (I’m sold on the No7 Airbrush Away tinted skin perfector among so many other things!!) Thanks for your honest content! 🫶🏼
Loveee how your products are reasonably priced and not filled with filler ingredients! I’m new to vitamin c, (been living under a rock apparently!) could I use that vitamin c serum even though I don’t have dark spots? Can I use for overall brightness and texture? I recently had a baby so I’m finally taking the time to improve my skin again, and I’ve been BINGE watching you lmao! So much love 🤍
I think you are just the CUTEST, Taylor. 💕✨ I found your channel about two years ago and love/trust all of your content and recommendations! I can't get over your flawless skin--I was on Accutane as well (about two decades before you) and it's a great medication, but I was left with so much scarring that I'm still trying to remedy. You mentioned the Supergoop Body Glow--how do you manage to keep your tan from peeling? I notice that when I use any type of product like this.
I have also have a thing about hand cream...the texture is just NOT it for me. The only one I can tolerate is the O'Keefe's hand cream in the green tube because it dries matte and actually moisturizes my hands. I legit will have my hands crack and bleed in the winter if I don't use this stuff. Life changing.
I'm in love with the Glow Recipe Plum Plump moisturizer for one it's a hybrid gel cream so it's great for combo skin, two it has refill packs so less packaging it really dose plump your skin too. I also love the Glow Recipe watermelon SPF but I don't wear it everyday and not because I think the thick white clouds will protect me it's the fact that I shit you not can go months without seeing the sun once which is pretty normal living this far north and if it's dark already I'm not using my SPF that shit aint cheap.
Loved loved how you explained everything. Definitely going to try some of these. Body skincare is just as important as on the face! ❤ you are glowing 🤩
Love it! Have you tried anything similar to block screen? I love the formula but unfortunately it breaks me out. I don’t mind a glow finish but I need to start with a more matte finish because by mid day the oils in my face are all out 🤣
I love when you do these. Your skin looks amazing. ✨️ know you put in the work before though. Just saying looking gorgeous 😍. I just like listening to your voice. The only cleansing balm that doesn't burn the heck out of my eyes is the physician formula the perfect match 3 in 1 melting cleansing balm. I can open my eyes and everything. No residue left for me. Just throwing it out there. The Elf one burned my eyes.
After seeing your first impression of the elf spf I went and got it and I’m loving it! It gives such a natural glow to the skin without looking greasy! 99% of the time I don’t wear foundation so when I saw that it was also a primer I didn’t think I’d like it but I love love love it!
I love how she actually takes the time to review products before she recommends. So many influences try something one time and then go on telling you how great it is😂
Also she doesn't act overly excited as if she's skydiving over a lipstick etc. It's terribly draining to watch people act overly excited
Agreed I love Taylor’s recommendations and really almost exclusively take her recommendations. I also love how she does a mix of high end and dupes/drugstore.
I read "poutine" and got real fuckin excited.
Actually 😅
@@Sumerianharp I never thought about it, but this is what I love about Taylor too. She isn’t over the top, and I love that!
Watching since before you were on accutane, it’s amazing to see your skin journey ❤️
me too ♥️
aw thanks for watching for so long!!
Same here 🥰
Same! It’s been like 8 years! ❤️
Same ❤
I recently bought the Isntree spf that you recommended in one of your vlogs and honestly it might be the first sunscreen that actually feels nice on my skin and doesn't break me out. Your recommendations never miss! Thank you for your honesty and integrity ❤️
Thank you! Really appreciate this! :)
Dim Lev The Isntree spf is really nice!
Watching your content has given me so much knowledge about skin care products and your recommendations are top notch.

I've followed for 3 years or so. I'm 66 this year. You are my hero. If I could do it all over again.

I really appreciated you documenting your journey with accutane. It is probably one my fave things to watch on youtube.
You can get sun damage through windows so nothing wrong with spf at home! Thanks for the updated skincare routine, just purchased the vitamin C!
I love love love the Belif true cream aqua bomb. It gives me this hydrated veil feeling. It's perfect for under makeup on my dry skin. I love it. I love the eye bomb, too. I love Belif in general. Great products!

I started using this facial Luna 3 brush several months ago and totally recommend it. My skin is so soft, and firm and glowy now...
I was thinking of switching to silicone brush from my Clarisonic...heard good things about Luna
Elf is really stepping it up! They used to be so cheap and a joke, but now…even the skincare is good. ❤ Thanks for the video Taylor.
a joke 😂
Exactly!

It’s weird how interesting it is to see how your skincare routine has changed over time. I like the AM rinse too.

Dove oil and milk body glow!!! The SCENT is SO GOOOOOD. Makes even my very pale skin look golden. But I am in the UK wondering if the US has a version
I tried the Cerave bar from your recommendation. It is awesome! I still have the liquid, but the bar is so much better!
The ELF cleansing balm is my holy grail. I’ve used it for over a year or 2 now.

So glad you put those pjs in the description. Love them
I stumbled on the cereve bar accidentally and I love it!! They have a travel size too!
i started using the Paula’s Choice 2% because of you…and i will never not use it!! SO good!!! 💯👏🏻🥰
My dermatologist said the Cera Ve cleansing bar is better because it has fewer ingredients. I use it, too because of your recommendation.
I started using the Adapalene gel, it's safe to use in the A.M. routine. I even buffer it with my moisturizer and then Sunscreen. So, I can use the acne products like the Benzol Peroxide wash at night and other actives.
I love a simple skincare routine! Thank you for sharing.
Ahhh just in time for me to refresh my skin care routine 🥰🥰
Fell off of TH-cam for a bit but coming back and seeing your videos Taylor is a breath of fresh air! I’m so happy for how far you’ve come and how versatile you’ve made your content.🌯✨
Excuse me while I go binge watch all the content I’ve missed 😅
Hi Taylor! If you're looking for a strong retinol product. You should try the Avene Retrinal Intensive Cream (0.1), it's really effective and I layer it over my moisturizer to prevent irritation, since I have sensitive skin.
I bought the Paula's Choice exfoliant and the lawless lip mask.. HUNNIES so good! 🙌
Love the CeraVe bar! I saw Taylor use it last year and bought it right away and it is better than the liquid by far. Plus it is very easy to travel with.
Completely agreed! Less plastic waste that way, too!
The AOA cleansing balm is AMAZING
My favorite skin tint/SPF is Australian Gold Botanical Sunscreen SPF50. It comes in a tube and it's only about $15 at Ulta.
Have you thought about trying the Peach Slices bha? It’s more affordable.
I LOVE the Coppertone Glow Shimmer SPF. Jessica Braun influenced me and I've been wearing it for years now!!
Love the Blockstar spf!!
You are and will always be my favorite TH-camr/influencer 💗
I have also have a thing about hand cream...the texture is just NOT it for me. The only one I can tolerate is the O'Keefe's hand cream in the green tube because it dries matte and actually moisturizes my hands. I legit will have my hands crack and bleed in the winter if I don't use this stuff. Life changing.
Hi Taylor been watching your videos since you had the lip piercing n had oily skin wow how time flies ♥🌯 keep being you girl 🥰 x
I’ve been dying for this one!!
I would also love a current top concealer’s recommendation!
If you search online you can get Aqua Bomb in a tube. It's my go to moisturizer and I really prefer it in a tube over a tub.
Yay! I'm so excited for all of these Taylor videos recently 😍😍😍
It’s been 15 months since you started traveling?!! Wow! Time flies!!
Try the new Neutrogena tinted spf. They have I think 4 shades and it’s incredible.
The quality of this video is 😮💨🤌🏽
I'm in love with the Glow Recipe Plum Plump moisturizer for one it's a hybrid gel cream so it's great for combo skin, two it has refill packs so less packaging it really dose plump your skin too.
I’ve added the Paula’s Choice product to my routine based on your recommendation. Love it!
I ordered that Isntree sunscreen from YesStyle and I'm so excited to try it! 🙌
I actually just got the Elf Holy Hydration makeup cleansing balm. It's so good!
What tan are you wearing ?! 😍 looks so good
Loved loved how you explained everything. Definitely going to try some of these. Body skincare is just as important as on the face! ❤ you are glowing 🤩
It makes me sad you haven’t reached 1M yet 😢 you are one who REALLY deserves it!! DEDICATION!!!
This is so calming to me love this so much and you got me hooked on the rose hip oil when I was on Accutane too!!!
