5:45 received ammo in Crucible is getting bumped to 4 circa mid-season patch.
Sunshot is by far my favorite weapon to use in the crucible, for multiple reasons. With Sunshot being the last 150, I think it has a chance to be up there with the iconic 3 exotic HCs. It might not have the range of Ace of Spades, or the one-shot capability of Hawkmoon but with the explosive rounds sunburn gives, it gives it the edge it needs to keep up. Along with that, it basically has incandescent on it but without the scorch stacks, so it’s more like dragonfly on every kill. I pair this weapon with Silicon Neuroma or Eye of Sol to have an easy time cleaning up if I miss, so I think it’s a great hand cannon to pair with snipers specifically. I’ve racked up about 10,000 kills on the weapon, PvE and PvP included, now I’ve gotta get my crucible tracker up there.
With the help of Charlemagne bot, I’m 8 kills away from having 3,500 in the crucible

Hawkmoon is great in Trials right now with the peekaboo healing meta that's going on right now. Get into a duel with someone who activates restoration and start stacking paracausal until you nail them with a OHK headshot. And on the other side, Tarrabah with Restoration active allows you to activate Ravenous beast way more often
If you rock hunter, try Caliban's hand. You can completely negate cover with it, especially if there are two people there.
@@rustler08 I have tried Caliban, but I can't seem to get the hang of it. I tend to just use it in conjunction with tripmines, which I know isn't really its intended purpose, but it's the only way I can make it work for me
@@GloverGaming3 If you throw the knife and then a fusion nade on clumped up enemies you can proc crazy ignitions
@@GloverGaming3 try fusion nades. Fusion + knife = ignition. You can also pair it with a wave frame GL so your knife gets kills and causes ignitions.

Hawkmoon + Lucky Pants
Absolutely wrecks, especially given the recent Last Word Nerf. The swap speed that Lucky Pants give you on top of the additional Hand Cannon holster mod is a very potent combo. Frees up space for other mods because it already allows you to swap to hand cannons faster and Lucky Pants gives you a overall bonus to stats when you swap to your Hand Cannon so it's like a built in opening shot with the bonus damage and accuracy. The funniest thing is how many people think it's a bad combo to use anything other than last word with Lucky Pants, just tells me they don't know what they're talking about. I've watched my buddy get over 340k damage in a single shot in PvE with this combo then turn around and absolutely dominate crucible with it. A cracked Hand Cannon main with this combo can be rage inducing.

Yeah. My loadout is Glaive+X+Sword/MG/GL. I set a goal of 2k kills on The Enigma last season. I ended up with about 2250 or so. I have been hooked from the time I crafted it.

From it being the rare strangers rifle 8 years ago, NTTE has been THE most consistent pulse rifle to ever grace the cruicble. 8 years of 2 taps baby!
Eye of sol with surplus snapshot feels amazing. Never had a sniper that felt so consistent and the flinch resistance now days helps a lot. Shayuras is amazing but I just don’t feel comfortable at times given 0.8ttk. Would rather prefer a god roll funnel web or borrowed time but those are hard rng. Great list
The sub frenzy roll for funnel is fine in pvp even tho it’s the pve god roll. It’s just hard to proc frenzy. But yeah rng is tuff on this weapon
The number 1 reason I love DMT is because it has iron sights. Every single gun having what is basically a holo sight screws with my head. It’s a personal problem, and probably an uncommon one, I know. But that’s why I use it the most.

I wanna give a quick shoutout to Under Your Skin which is currently the best in class Legendary Bow in the game. Since it's craftable you can get the 5/5 perfect godroll with enhanced perks like its nothing. You wanna go for Elastic String, Fiberglass Arrow Shaft, Enhanced Hip Fire, and Enhanced Opening Shot with a Draw Time intrinsic. With all of these perks you sit at a base 576ms draw time without tanking your accuracy at all, you still have 79 accuracy and with enhanced opening shot and enhanced hip fire you hit 100 aim assist too. This bow is beyond sticky and I'll go so far as to say it's better than Le Monarque uncontested.
I love under your skin 100 percent agree about best bow in game thou I actually haven't ran it in pvp (my pve is tunnel vision and successful warmup with last season I actually used explosive payload since with volatile rounds artifact mod each shoot would give then proc volatile explosions since the arrow and the explosion are considered two separate forms of damage could still run it tech with the fragment for volatile but its not as synergistic)
Mainly cause I haven't played to much pvp as of late but when I did I use to run bow alot mostly thou either wolftone draw or le monache.. wolftone honestly just felt exactly like monarche but without the poison and I know under your skin is better then wolftone thou for me at least bows that I do good with in pve I usually suck with in pvp I had a similar issue with Whispering slab which I still love in pve but hate in pvp I'm usually not very mobile w my bow in pvp usually peaking with it and using a handcannon or SMg when I go more mobile but in pve it's the opposite I'm super mobile with a Bow and this bow works great for that I rarely miss a headshot even while moving or jumping
Definitely need to run it, Monarque is my baby in trials and survival so if I can get one even better then I'm set
The two dont compare. The residual poison makes people stay in cover longer and makes pushes of any kind easier.

Whispering slab is a lightweight. U need to get 2 headshots to kill. Probably that's y it was underwhelming for u
Battler should be on there, probably even more than Piece of Mind. Kill clip and the other perks it rolls with, along with the recent buff, makes it so crisp. And the hipfire perk allows it to even more effectively cover close-range encounters than PoM.
Best energy pulse in the game.
I rocked battler in trials a bunch the past few weeks it’s something I thought I’d never do but it works. It’s a beast cuz u can map people from nasty ranges

I managed to snag a max range Rangefinder/Adenaline Junkie Borrowed Time.
I'm on Console, so SMGs were a bit scary to me due to the recoil, but I took it for a spin, and holy crap.
I think that I would have preferred Rampage, but I can't really be picky, also getting a nade kill when it's out turns it into Tarrabah with FTB active.

You said everything I have been screaming in the last few months. I play survival alot, so I literally just run no time to explain and a glaive. If I am the last man, I hot swap to vigilance. That last stand buff truly makes a difference, you can 2 burst with it, and it feels like you hit nothing but heads when you get that last stand.
If you’re going to throw a 780 fusion on there I’m not sure how you don’t choose Snorri… it’s absurdly good with that long zoom scope. I’ve got a range/particle repeater/firmly planted/HIR roll and it is the most disgusting thing I’ve used since the old Erentil.
Fusions are brainless and ultra easy. I look down on those who use em outside of Trials.

Scored an interesting Timelost Fatebringer last night... Stability MW, Polygonal Barrel, Steady Rounds and Eye of the Storm.
It has over 100 stability with an adept Stability mod lol. Damage fall off is just shy of 30m but of course explosive Payload makes up for that.
It's a dueling machine lol
Any amount of stability over 100 doesn't matter, you're wasting stats
Don't have vex . Don't use GL in pvp . But I always say use what your comfortable with in pvp . The only weapon I use that you reviewed was piece of mind .
Man I feel you on the red border beloved, but mine was the exact opposite. When I got a red border haunted weapon drop it was beloved. It took me 3/4 of the season to get Austringer and I finally got calus mini tool after season of plunder started...
You definitely should take the BXR 55 for a spin, since the 450s buff its pretty much a monster, the hipfire capacity is amazing for strafing at mid range fights, it can get 45m range without rangefinder and it can roll Perpetual Motion and Kill Clip (my roll).. IMO its actually one of the best pvp weapons ingame !

If you can hit the head twice, it melts ppl so quick. If wasn’t a special slot I would use it more.
I didn’t get any red boarders and still got a god roll beloved quick draw surplus is so good it feels snappier than snapshot

Forerunner with forgivness is crazy combo. So much fun and actually competetive. With foreruner you have enought ammo to use it at range whenever you need, it has absurd hitboxes on PC, and that 3 tap is crispy. And forgivness is so much fun.

if you dont have the fighting lion or the dead messenger, a great back up that doesnt take up the exotic slot, is the deafening whisper. it only has one wave but if you pair it up with TLW, an SMG, or a sidearm along with lucky pants (if using TLW) then it slaps
No theres something much better than that or even the dead messenger. Explosive personality with disruption break; that thing is absolute bonkers when you swap to a primary after hitting your enemy with the nade launcher.
Another old rapid fusion rifle that nobody use but it is a beast: ZEALOT'S REWARD.
If you have a roll with under pressure, high-impact reserved and stability or range masterwork try it out in crucible, you'll not regret it.

I can see why people don't like GoS, but you can drop the fusion from the first step, it is not a long or difficult step, also if it is in rotation you can farm the first step with the challeng. It can also drop the bow that is really good for pve when there are champions mod for the bows.
its good, but i think the reason cartesian is mentioned here is cartesian came with the same roll and it stats out better than zealot's. with scopes it gets 17 zoom instead of 15, and it also get's more range if you don't go for a range barrel on zealot's. but the thing that really pushes cartesian over the edge has always been the fact that it comes with 60 aim assist. the other rapid fires are in the mid 30s (37 for zealots). because of this, cartesian tends to behave more like a precision frame with its bolt pattern consistency on a target. you just land everything more consistently than the other rapid fires, and it does it with the best range, too.

Fun thing about hc is which is the best is normally down to preference. For example i think palidrome and eyasluna feel too light and dont have enough oomf behind each shot while austringer abd fatebringer feel way better imo because the bulkiness and oomf behind each shot.
I totally agree, energy handcannons in general just don't feel quite right... For example, the Cantata, the crisis inverted, and the sunshot all just feel like they are not doing enough damage while having higher-feeling recoil.

I also happened to farm bitting winds with Hynra and got god roll after 3rd time.

My go to weapons are Thorn, Vigilance Wing and Crimson. I play on controller and all three of these guns work so well.
Vigilance is what made me turn into a high impact pulse fanatic it’s incredible
I've just been playing a Halo loadout with Forerunner + BXR + grenade/rocket and I highly enjoy it.
this is exactly what i run. forerunner, perpetual motion kill clip bxr, and a nade/rocket. it feels amazing
Me personally, I love the Polaris Lance in PVP, 3 shot head shot and 4 shot body shot to killl, Its also 150 RPM.

I completely agree on the Eyasluna>Austringer debate. It's also got a broader perk pool in terms combinations: There is pretty much a roll for any function. I will say that I do prefer Austringer over Eyasluna outside of a couple niche builds. Love my Adept Pali (Bottomless/Rampage), never got a feel for TL Fate.

I feel legally obligated to argue about Borrowed Time being underrated. It is just hardly obtainable with the godroll.
But BY FAR HANDS DOWN the most criminally underrated aggframe smg is the godroll IKELOS. Fullbore, Seraph rounds, Dynamic sway and range MW is the sweetiest thing ever. Seraph rounds give 10% less damage falloff, flinch like crazy and bounce off the surfaces. Also give range. This IKELOS deals max damage on roughly 21meter range but less falloff allows it to maintain your TTK (and hitreg) up to roughly 25m. All this with just 14 zoom when godroll Borrowed Time feels like a telescope. Also crazy flinch. Hitreg us beauuuuutiful.
I have borrowed time with small bore, ricochet, range masterwork, rangefinder and tap the trigger. I was told to grind this roll and when I got it I never questioned this smg again it’s probably the best smg in the game honestly if u learn how to easily land headshots u will shred people before they know what hit them. My fav loadout right now is no time to explain with borrowed time

Try to reset your gambit rank twice. It’s a pain but for every reset u do u get bonus perks on all the gambit guns u focus. I was able to get a god roll borrowed time this way of rangefinder tap the trigger with range masterwork it’s the best feeling smg I’ve ever used and it’s the roll I beg u to get. Rangefinder tap the trigger is the most consistent by far

You can also never go wrong with Rangefinder and Frenzy for that extra perks you get while in combat. It's kinda the pve/pvp smg rolled into one IMO.

I'm actually going for a Beloved with No Distractions/Incandescent, Ricochet/Fluted Barrel with a Handling MW. 70 Handling seems to be a sweet spot given how I've done with my Perpetual Motion/Headstone Thoughtless so here's to hoping.
I'm trying Incandescent after seeing what CoolGuy said about it and using it to gather info on whiffed headshots/proximity clean-up kills. The No Distractions simply to see if it helps out or not (I'm liable to change this to Snapshot and switching the MW to Stability if I dislike it).

I got godroll austringer from old seasons with range finder and full bore with range catal, literally 83 range so it hits hard enough even to beat ace of spades

Got super lucky with my first Timelost Found verdict. Full choke, light mag, Surplus, opening shot, range MW. Its close to perfect enough for me
Didn't see this vid till today but I thought I would mention, the sprint and slide perk on plug one is absolutely broken, can't remember what it's called because almost no other fusions have it. I played against someone using it with an invis hunter in trials and he was literally untouchable, it was a 5 out of 5 adept plug one with max range and that slide perk. I've honestly never felt like I had no answer quite like that except when cheaters were rampant

Calus mini tool is so underrated you should make a video on that it is so broken I’ve had it for 3 days and I have been killing so many people I see no one use it because it is so underrated
I didn't think I'd enjoy the Forerunner sidearm as much as I am...but it's one of the most forgiving and impactful sidearms I've ever used.

I use Glaives and Fighting Lion. Both top tier once you learn how to use them, but they aren’t easy at first

I don’t even know if I could make a top 25. Just about every weapon has some use in pvp it’s mostly what rolls they can get and how it feels in my hands. A lot of people love the crafted beloved but me personally I am a bigger fan of the crafted thoughtless sniper I’m not sure why but I feel like I can really compete with it compared to the beloved

Castle I was fortunate enough to get a surplus snapshot adept eye of sol. It is literally the fastest ads on any sniper ever. I'll even let you use my account to test it

Low key tho they should rebuff desperado. I tired messenger again and the perk didn’t last long enough and when I did use it, the perk still felt slow which is kinda not the point of desperado I feel
FANTASTIC video as always. I loved the aim assist degradation demonstration! That was so so good. I'm with you on Plug1 being a beast. I think Burden is going to top it for me in closer engagements, but PLUG1 is still so solid. If someone manages to get Kickstart (Cornered benefit on demand + 20% damage) it'll wipe the floor.

5:35 cap it manage to miss every god damn shot since the reticle throws me off so much compared to a dot, I’ll either whiff the shot or somehow hit a body shot instead

i think too many ppl doesnt care about eyas anymore cuz austringer its craftable and the only rng there is, is getting the red boarders but i think getting a god roll eyas is way too worth it and u must try it out if u find a good one
I agree especially with it being able to get headstone, which is absolutely clutch in trials

I dunno if I'll ever become this knowledgeable in weapons and perks. It's pretty overwhelming all the little tricks and weapon switching, etc. I've been playing for about 4 weeks and still don't know which rolls to keep and to discard.
Y’all gotta try out the tech run force this season, adaptive frame fusions have been feeling real nice
There's an argument to be made for austringer's eye of the storm perk boosting it's stats past eyasluna's after taking slight damage in my opinion

Although I don't disagree that Eyas is better than Aust, I still have to point out that the crafted Austringer has access to an "adept" stat boost which means the difference in stats are actually a lot narrower.

So correct me if I’m wrong but with hawkmoon and the hand cannons holster mod; if you let it reload fully while stowed, I think you lose progress the paracausal shots. At least I think that’s what happened when I tried that a while back.

without remorse is a pretty good contender especially once arc 3.0 release. because of e. cap you can get max handling with 75 range (thanks to rifled barrel) on a lightweight frame.

I have been enjoying malfeasance its prity good I destroyed multiple rounds in elimination.
You should really try funnelweb with killing wind rangefinder max range, its an absolute menace and veist stinger paired with peacekeepers makes you move so fast while aiming down sights
