The 2nd perk doesn't make the next 7 bullets ricochet, but it gives the next 7 ricochet bullets increased ricochet range and makes them ricochet more times (7 times instead of 1)

The sheer amount of busy it work it takes to get it, it fuckin better be for at least an episode or two.
Normally when an auto creeps into the meta bungie jumps on it/them fast with the nerf hammer compared to other weapon types, but in this case I think they might leave it a while simply as there are a lot of new weapons in the game right now so they might wait it out until it drops in usage?

Next patch: We've ruined Khvostov in PVE just to make it slightly less annoying in PVP.
Except for the fact they separate pvp and PvE now in balancing weapons and exotics and perks too. It’s been separate for years actually.

Imagine being a seasoned pvp player that has counquered trials over and over again just to get your jaw unhooked by a new light that bought the final shape and did a datto tutorial on how to get khovstov
Honestly don’t know how much is the gun being OP and how much is just it’s a DAMN good feeling auto so everyone is using it. Honestly leaning more on the side of it just feeling amazing.
It's both the constant ricochet you proc allow it to have a .7ttk by default with picking up an orb it's faster.
It’s stability is also pretty insane for an autorifle, pretty sure Bungie mentioned that it’s out performing its intended stats
In all of the guides for finding the prismatic stuff no one ever mentions if you've completed the Lost in Light and Found in Dark missions on 1 character they no longer show up on Ghost for your other characters on the same account. In order to get the prismatic super/grenades/aspects associated with these missions on your other characters you need to complete the 6 adventures (the orange flags) found in the Lost City quest hub (where Ghost is).
Crazy part is Sir D was not even optimizing this weapon. Playing for orbs… once you get an orb going… this rifle morphs into its ult form.
Man.. that WHAT THE FU... I feel that.. I feel that so hard. That's like 75% of all my Crucible encounters, but good stuff man, good stuff! I alwys love the extra bit of humor you throw into your vids, chefs kiss!

You were incorrect about the eyes up guardian perk. It boosts the damage of the ricochet rounds, not the next 7 bullets.

I tried the new Khvostov for a small bit, and it was good and fun, but I think I still prefer my kill clip Gnawing Hunger. Or maybe a Devil's Ruin, I have way to many Crucible kills on that darn thing.

Two burst pulse rifles aka 340 have no forgiveness at all if they hit that 2 burst on you it's because they have amazing stats aka red death or cause you ain't moving around imo. 600 rpm have a .8 ttk with little forgiveness don't let ktov make you think all 600rpm are good.

Legendary Khvostov is pretty great as well I consistently top frag with it
Played 50 games of trials and at least 2 in everything single lobby and almost never on my team.
Took me 6 hours to get and is worth it if you have a fellow firing squad of guardians.
