In this video, we look at antibiotics. First we explore how antibiotics are used to treat bacterial diseases and then what is meant by antibiotic resistance. We then explore how other medicines treat the symptoms of disease.

advantages include reduced chances of epidemics occurring due to herd immunity and also they have eradicated many diseases and greatly reduced the occurrence of others. Disadvantages include bad reactions to vaccinations such as fever however this is rare and of course the fact that vaccinations are not always successful in immunizing you against the disease.
