      Madam Meouff well, we literally created capitalism. Thus, we are our downfall. Capitalism *would* work if it was run by all very good people. Obviously that kind of expectation is impossible, but that’s not the point. The point is that society is created by people, and our flaws are what prevent us from the ultimate civilization. If it wasn’t for the people running the companies, then the issue would not exist, as well as the people running an incentivized country with an economy that is meant to harbor such corruption. It works a lot like a gun or a digital program. They are not the bar people, they don’t have sentience, it is the person behind them that manipulate their abilities to cause pain and destruction. Of course, that means we must change the rules to suit the reality, but my point is *people* are ultimately to blame. If we as a society chose to make measures to prevent this, then things would be much better, but unfortunately, we never made those choices then, and now we suffer the consequences.

    • @ZombieNoodles13
      @ZombieNoodles13 4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Madam Meouff That’s not to say I think capitalism should stay, I agree that it’s a flawed system and should be changed. But my point is that humans made it, and we chose to ignore its issues, and now we face our consequences. Besides, if you watched their Bacteriophage video, it’s not like we can’t solve i

      Al Su I did a research when I was in university. Let's talk briefly about price, the organic (free-antibiotic) is roundly 40% higher than regular products. It's not hard to observe that in any local grocery store. People in society has been creating a 2 side paradox. In one side. they want "not too costly" products and in the other side, they encourage corps to get beautiful financial statement. However, somehow they figure out methods companies achieved 2 above goals, and now they want everything goes green. Not an easy task to balance things at all I concluded.

    Many people think like that, that's why we have MDROs in the first place.
    Don't randomly take antibiotics unless you have to, and if you take them, finish all of it. Leave no survivors, otherwise they may come back and haunt you.

    When I was studying to be a medical lab technician, I took clinical microbiology and learned all about antibiotic resistance. Most people have heard of MRSA (methicillin resistant staph aureus) but there have been a few reported cases now of VRSA (vancomycin resistant staph aureus) which is uh... pretty terrifying, since vancomycin is still the strongest antibiotic we have against staph aureus species. Anyway, pleasant dreams!

    Antibiotic use for minor illnesses like common colds or viral fevers are a dangerous practice. It contributes to development of drug resistance, but some doctors prescribe them because they get benefits. Our teachers in med school warned us about prescribing antibiotics for minor ailments. Also, another practice that's causing drug resistance to build is people buying meds directly from pharmacies without consulting a doctor. It's a normal thing in my town and that worries me.

It's better to stick to simple remedies that provide relief like hot drinks for when you have common cold (I personally like tea or soup) or soothing balm for a minor headache. If it's not resolved by such methods or gets worse, then consult a doctor.

We've developed medicine to the point where we have to worry that we're accelerating the evolution of bacteria to unmanageable speeds. Which says a lot about us as a species.

There will not be a reaction, being that even Modified Bacteriophage is not able to affect Humans, being that our genome structure is too diverse from the specified bacteria Bacteriophage can attack. As a person who was skeptical of Bacteriophage, its functionality and genetic structure prohibits it from harming us, allows modifications to attack different bacteria, and allows us to have consistent feedback and control. what else would you have them do? Do what the USA does? The video wasnt lying when they said that most livestock used for food are kept in terrible conditions...in USA, most cows kept for beef end up rarely seeing the light of day and are fed corn, which in their bodies helps boost the growth of E.Coli immensely, so they simply spray the meat down with ammonia, and wash it off afterwards as its processed.

    • @Dan-hr2lm
      @Dan-hr2lm 8 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Firstname Lastname You are right about everything you said except the part of cows not seeing the light of day.. Cows can typically only survive 90-120 days on a diet of strictly corn.. They are raised on the pasture (grass) until they are 6 months to 1 year, then they are usually sold at auction and transferred to a corn diet.. I think you were just thinking of chickens, which IMO are treated worse than cows.. Chickens never see the light of day, the only reason is if it's dark they will only move from there water to food and there breasts will be a lot bigger.
