    I literally always have leftover food like this that the kids don't eat, or we just make too much. and I have never even thought of making patties or anything 🤯... at least I know what I'll be doing from now on. thank Grego

    Hi Greg, cook more for us. I like these better than the restaurant reviews. Some of the places you go are not where the rest us live. This recipe? Can be made anywhere, anytime. A brown gravy with onion would be awesome on these. So would a tomato butter sauce.

    Mustard and Potatos are really great together when i eat Mashed Potatos with carrots in it and onions(Möhren untereinander is it Called in germany) then i put heaps of mustard on the plate to go with it

    really good way to use up left overs. i have the same brand cast iron top quality i hardly ever have to turn the heat up much really cooks so well.

    My dad made a simpler version,leftover mash,onions ,egg a little flour. fried up some bacon and cooked them in the grease.His grandad would have made goetta from the sausage bits I bet.

    I've always thought you were somewhat of a legend. Then you mentioned the hot English mustard. Oh my effing goodness. I now so desperately want to marry you and spend a lifetime bathing in hot English mustard together!!!!! Not sure my husband will be real happy with this scenario, but I'm happy to leap out bawahahahaha!
    For an extra yumminess, mix the leftover egg and breadcrumb together and form into a moist patty. You may need to add extra crumb if it's a bit wet. Fry as per your patties and enjoy. You can thank me later. As kids, we would fight to the death for an egg and breadcrumb patty. Mum would have to cut it with absolute precision, because we both knew if one got a squillienth of a millimetre more than the other. I still enjoy an egg and breadcrumb patty now when I make something using it. Absolutely delicious!!!
    If you use gluten free, rice crumbs are nearly as delicious as regular breadcrumbs for the patty.

    Very rarely have mystery bags leftover GregO but sometimes mashed spuds so this vid and recipe definitely provides some inspo for its use with other mouldy meats in the refrigerator… Carn Lions 🦁!! Cheers Gibbo

    Dont use steel on cast iron. Use wood or plastic greggo. You will fuck up the seasoning on it mate. Love my cast iron, stuff tastes better.
