Hi, I’m really enjoying watching your videos. They’re very informative. Seeing your garden plus your advice & tips is helping me a lot with my own never ending tropical garden projects. I hope you can upload some more soon! As I’ve nearly watched all of them. 🤣🌴🌿 Happy gardening!
Thank you. I have a few more planned to do soon. I’m just finishing a couple of projects in the garden first. Also I have a couple of garden tours planned so hopefully they go ahead. Any questions feel free to ask. Cheers.
All good points. And I do agree with you the spiders web and variegated Fatsia side by side lessen the impact of either plant. That canna at the end is really nice though, I have not seen that one here in the US. I think the next variegated plant to get is a Trachy - if you can find one.
Cheers. The annoying thing is I had chance to buy a variegated Trachy about maybe 8 years ago for £120 and I didn’t buy it as it was only about a foot high. Big mistake. A garden you can visit near London has one that I see last year that has been planted out for many years. I didn’t actually like it but I still wanted it. 😂
Great plants to consider. For low ground cover & extra varigation this year I added variageted vinca major. They say it can get out of control growing but I put it in some heavy shade & it’s growing nicely but slow.
Hi, I'm a tropical style garden beginner. Your channel is a gift and a help for me. I watched all your videos and I just subscribed today - It's the first one of my youtube life . I'll try talking about garden but not so easy for me. Thanks for sharing.
@@tikitropicals65 Oh no,I made myself misunderstood, the first is my first subscription on youtube. sorry my english is worse than I feared. I think I need to make progress in english and gardening. for now I am on the soilwork (dig?) and propagation of plants.
I am trying to create a tropical garden in kent, but i dont have a greenhouse or the space to bring much into the house over winter, I do have a shed but no windows, is there anything you would recommend I have ferns, cordylines, and a few varieties of banana plants and also a few quite big fatsia is there anything that I'm missing that could stay out overwinter with fleece?
Hi. If you look through some of the videos on my channel of my Garden I’ve done a few videos on Evergreen plants that can stay out all year. About 70-80% of my garden stays out all year here in Peterborough East Anglia. I hope it helps.
Amazing garden x
Thank you

It’s a great Canna. Still a bit pricey but it’s getting better. Well worth it though. Cheers Paul

What is the plant with evergreen glossy spiky leaves at 1:48
Hi. I think the plant you are referring to is Aucuba Rozannie. Cheers.
@@tikitropicals65 Thats the one - many thanks. Looks fantastic in your film..... the gloss reminds me of a very happy Fatsia in shelter and shade
