Watching this amazing garden tour was so serene and beautiful; I didn't want it to end. Irene is such a gracious and patient host, and the charming Dr. Ng has so much plant knowledge. He's the brilliant teacher who sets you straight with botanical facts, not trends. This has been a refreshing joy to watch! Thank you, Irene!
so very happy to see Dr. Ng..i remember my elementary science about dicot and monocot ha.ha.ha. i am already 68 years old.. and still love planting..thanks..i enjoy watching you with DR.NG..
It is always such a pleasure when you take us through your beautiful garden irene, the man is very wise, I cracked up in the beginning with the "please take my money" that is so true for so many of us crazy plant people!!🤣🤣

@@leafing.around one of these good days, it would indeed be a pleasure.
Wow Dr Ng is in the house, and he had me lols at "that plant is dead" and " she needs a scrub" 🤣. Seriously though he is a master like no other. Thank you for this garden tour Irene it was so relaxing and at the same time very educational. 💚💯👍
Btw i want your licualas, begonias and diefen mary . 🌿🌱🍀
Enjoyed the Doctor so much! I cannot imagine how you manage all these beautiful plants!
I appreciate your show, not too technical, can relate, and humbly admitting what you know and don’t. It normalizes us viewers …. Kudos!
😊😊😊 just from one plant lover to another! I actually never studied biology and so know close to nothing on the terms and how they work! And happy to share what I pick up with you!!
Beautiful monstera Bogisiana Aurea and amazing garden that you have 👍

I absolutely looove your garden, especially your palm tree. I've never been a fan of palm trees. I don't really care for any of them, except for yours!! It's truly the star of your garden. Thank you so much for the updated tour and for sharing Dr. Ng's knowledge with us. Oh, and Iaughed out lout when you pulled out the Alocasia macrorrhiza leaves! That was great. And one last thing, I love your blouse! Lol
Nice Tropical Garden

Hi Irene, we just visited the Secret Garden this morning after viewing your video on that wonderful place. I have not being able to purchase that book which you recommended. It’s out of stock at both MPH and Kinokuniya. Thanks for opening your own garden to us.

More plant power for us all...
Irene, I must say your garden is so spectacular and an inspiration to me. You have done an excellent job at creating the garden of your dreams! I hope you make a video soon on how you upkeep your garden. I only have 200+ plants, and I find that I am always watering! 😂 Thank you again, Irene. You are inspiring, teaching, and changing the world! 🤍 Love from the U.S.A.. 😊🌱
Hello Ben, what a heartwarming message! I feel enslaved to my garden and plants to be honest! The visitor POV is so different...it is difficult for me to sit back and appreciate...when I look at my garden I just see a lot of work that is still waiting to be done! Plants not yet placed correctly attacks my pest in a dark corner and needs to be moved....new airplants not yet hung in a bright airy spot...baby platy waiting to be moved out of mommy's board... fertilizing. Yeah ok I might do a video on the grunt work behind! It will not look pretty!
@@leafing.around Just with your begonias alone I would be overwhelmed! It does take a lot of hard work and effort, but I know the pay-off is having such a beautiful garden! I hope there will come a time soon when you can stop and appreciate your garden in solace and calm. I do know that feeling though of trying to sit and relax and seeing everything that needs to be done. It is such an honor to be able to tend to these plants that rely on us to make sure they are thriving in their life! At the same time, it is very hard work. Yeah, I am sure a lot of people would learn a lot seeing how you upkeep your garden! I know I would! I'm trying to get into a good rhythm with my plants, but things change every time a new plant comes home, haha. Again, thank you so much Irene for all you do! Super thankful to learn from you! 😊🌱
Wow it was so beautiful ❤️Nice upload 👍
Stay blessed and happy

Your garden is absolutely amazing! Dr. Francis was such a joy to listen to as well. I was watching the video as I was moving my Alocasia micholitziana 'Maxkowskii' to a bigger pot. The Alocasia Sarian would look absolutely gorgeous in your little jungle, and you live in the perfect climate 🥰
Just found your page and enjoyed this video. Your tour, the editing and the guest were great. Learned a few things and made me laugh!
Irene! I enjoy your channel so much. Your passion and enthusiasm. Sometimes I wish it would be easier to compare notes but our climates are sooo different. British Columbia Canada here! Thank you very hosting Dr. Ng. ❤️

Amazing plants ...your garden tour was so good....
I’m with you Irene I couldn’t stop buying plants ..it’s so beautiful to own them and have them..
Lovely encounter
Beautiful place, not just the visuals but the sounds of the birds and insects. Wonderful
Dr Ng is a gem and it was a delight to listen and watch your tour.
I am intrigued with your burned posts and will try that in my garden.
I had to laugh when you said that you no longer visit the mall. My days of new shoes and handbags have given way to the plant nurseries as well😁
TH-cam brought me here and I watched til the end.. Impressive garden and wonderful host!
Ferns in half burned wood was beautiful👍👌
Very beautiful garden
Maybe the ones that you wanted to creep up needed different materials/ platform like wooden poles plus more light. This was very nice giving me 💡 for my garden 😊. I'm only buying plant after plant 😂 my husband on day watering them for me exclaimed that I had about 100-200 of them 😂 they bring me joy.
Your videos are always so well done, and they cheer me up after a rough time... I love the playful editing ... thank you for this
What a treat to have a leisurely walk through your spectacular garden with such a knowledgeable man. Thanks for doing this you have worked so hard to achieve what many of us are striving for. I live in Pensacola Florida was wondering exactly where you are located
So glad you joined us in this tour🥰🥰. I am in KL, Malaysia
Beautiful garden! I hope I have lots of space too
Not the quantity of space.....but what you make use of it!
This gentleman is such a treasure. I learned good things in this video. Your garden is lovely. Thank you.
It is a delight to see grandpa and you interact with one another. I can sense your shyness. Typical of how we Asians relate to elders. So funny when you showed your most expensive plant. Grandpa is kinda conservative when giving a reaction. So it is delight to see how he loves the Mirabilis. =)
Happy Chinese New Year! I am your new subscriber, a Japanese living in Bali. I am so happy to find your channel. Being a beginner of tropical garden, I can learn from your videos a lot. Moving from Tokyo to Bali, many changes: indoor plants became outdoor plants, 4 seasons became 2 seasons etc. Your garden is fascinating. 🌴
How exciting! You can have a tropical garden very very soon....and so many wonderful hardscape and structures u can buy there!
Fascinating. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour of your garden and the discussion! Thank you so much!
☺️🤗 thank you Ranger!
I so very loved 🥰 this video Irene, Thank you.
I really enjoyed listening you and Dr Francis Ng as the two of you walked thru your splendid garden. So much to explore, enjoy, and discuss. Begonia Island in particular grabbed my imagination-- it's such an effective way to display all of those gorgeous plants and it makes wonderful focal point. You've got me inspired, Irene 😍
Yes do try out to have an island of Begonia for yourself also! :)
