Not just for open top cars. GT3 and most race cars have vent for outside air to blow into the car. You can't put windows down in a race car in a race .
Looks cool, but its really only good for open cars with no windshields like formula 1 or escpecially immersive for older formula 1 cars from the 60s, where they still had open helmets, so they could feel the wind.
I think you’re missing the point of it. It’s not suppose to necessarily just simulate wind. It adds another layer of immersion to simulate speed. This is a common misconception about what these products do.
haha you're so right! Sadly these arent even my arms! I borrowed a friend to shoot the vid, plus there is no way I am cool enough to pull off those awesome tattoos! :-)
I hear where you’re coming from but no you cannot build this for $50. You can’t build this for less than $100 unless you own a 3D printer and already have wires, connectors, tools, etc.
Farout, $500aud! And that’s the special price. That’s so sad. Plus then need to wait around 4 weeks for delivery? Come on guys, I know you can sell them cheaper…I could justify $500 for next day delivery. 70% Bunnings parts. :(

Yep, great call!

i like to use it even in closed cockpits in vr. i just imagine the windows are open or cracked
Yaa
I don't like Too much wind 🌬️ from car's window
So I always closed the window
Wrong

most closed cockpit racecars have ports that allow air in and direct it toward the driver, saves weight comparedto an A/C system
straighten you wrists and bring your arms in ~ much better control and less fatigue

Please! if you want this, learn some basic arduino (or follow a youtube tutorial) and spend 50$ and you can build it yourself. 509$ is theft!

PS5?!
Thanks for your message! Redion do have a console version, though it just applies a steady fan speed, not linked to the telemetry output from the sim.
