I had forgotten that Kane song which sampled Le Pamplemousse. Love thr Kool and the Gang original for How Happy Jackie. And I always feel a bit sad when I hear that Put It On single. Rest in Peace, Big L. Rest in Peace, Gangsta Boo.
I love when you come with more of the old school samples that sampled classic Hip Hop records . Like Hip Hop records that was out in the 80's 90'd and early 2000;'s
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I've just discovered this site and I'm so pleased. I have some of the original samples, particularly West Coast Music. I want to thank you for the good work you're doing, which is very much a public service. 😆 I'm just excited and buzzing. 🙂🙃😁
✨✨✨✨76 Year I was Born Also✨✨✨✨ Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock “Times Getting ill” Blessed that Kid Dynamite Sample💪🏾. EPMD “Its My Thing” one of my all time Favorites💫. Awesome Work once again DJ Furio✊🏼
great these vids. i ended up with a copy of that pamplemouse on jazz fudge which i think is a repress but what a tune. that was back when GAMM records were big and there were so many repressings and remixes it cost me a fortune. props on the vids mate i watch em all but i rarely comment. peace.
It’s a great record. I’m not so bothered if I buy a repress these days, unless the original has different tracks or different version on them. Thanks for watching. I appreciate it.
@@DJFurio like all these where it comes from samples . Sends me from wn rabbit holes researching these breaks etc.. get pissed off when month later they've all been deleted from my play list .. copyright I presume??
@@DJFurio sounds bit like jelly bean when a dog is a donut . Or cat Stevens I think did it first .. but a hip hop group have used it . Maybe not paid copyright. Makes it harder to find. 🇬🇳🌍
The 70's are where the most samples from hip hop come from. The 80's in my opinion are harder to find good samples. Maybe because recording technology changed and the sound was bigger but not particularly better.

Buster Williams - vibrations
Artifacts - what goes on 💥🔥
Yep. A different part of the track was used but the same sample.
@@DJFurio 😎👍🏾
Boogie Down Productions "Essays on BDPism" used the Kid Dynamite Sample around the same time as the Just-Ice Cut
They sure did. He even says it’s the very last track that Scott La Rock produced back in 87
1976 my birth year.....u on one homie .....that's y I fuxx with u fam keep pushing my G
Awesome. Thanks for watching.
that sample Big L had was dope! he actually had it on point! all his samples used.
Yeah it’s a great track produced by Buckwild
I guess the 70s really had the best music like my parentssaid, it was all original, the 90s sampled so much music...wow
Yeah the 79s had some amazing music
Wow, 1976 led to so many of my favorite hip-hop tracks!
I was born in 1976 as well that was a dope year
Best year to be born 👍
Happy H-Day, Big Furio!!
Thanks 👍

Good to hear you like it.
Please read this in two weeks. Happy birthday Furio 🥳👍
Haha. Thanks 👍
That kid dynamite front cover is awesome, epee MD ! Never knew that 👍 scarface 🤣👍👍👍
It’s a great front cover. And yes EPEE MD. Sounds like a spin off from Doogie Howser MD 🤣
I was born in ‘76 as well. Such a good year for music. Large Pro and Pete Rock sampled that Dave Grusin joint for The Rap World.
A great year to be born. Which part was sampled? I know the main samples they used but didn’t know about that one.
My mistake. That was John Dankworth’s Whirly Birly which was sampled .
The Le Pamplemousse Break was also Sampled for Dru Hill's "In My Bed" Remix
Yeah some of these samples I’ve shown have been used so many times. I just showed a few examples of them on this video.
I love when you come with more of the old school samples that sampled classic Hip Hop records . Like Hip Hop records that was out in the 80's 90'd and early 2000;'s
I much prefer the older stuff too
Nice selection for ‘76. But we all know ‘72 was the year of the funk😉
Too bad I wasn’t born earlier. I’m gonna have words with my mum next time I see her 🤣
Ayyyyeeee! Big up 1976!
👍
Great batch, my dude! Even greater year to be born! we in there (like BDP!)! cheers!
Thanks for watching and glad you like it.
Also K-Dee sampled Denise Williams "Free" on his songs "The Freshest MC in the world"
Yep. It’s been sampled quite a few times.
Long live the 70s and happy birthday djfurio
Thanks

That’s great to hear and thanks for watching. I’ve made a lot of sample videos.
Kid Dynamite in Ice Cube's "Rollin' Wit' The Lench Mob"
Another good sample of that Kid Dynamite record is Outkast's myintrotoletuknow! (although not strictly sampled, more interpolated)
Yep they sing similar lyrics to it 👍
✨✨✨✨76 Year I was Born Also✨✨✨✨
Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock “Times Getting ill” Blessed that Kid Dynamite Sample💪🏾.
EPMD “Its My Thing” one of my all time Favorites💫.

The best year to be born 👍 and yeah they cut up that Kid Dynamite sample well. I really rate the EPMD track too. Thanks for watching

I’m not sure who sampled that. I just listened to it. Amazing track. Sounds like something J Dilla would have chopped up.
