Your knowledge of hip hop and its history is astounding. I wish I was as dedicated towards something that much. This is my favorite hip hop related channel on youtube. I wish I had money to donate, thx for the uploads
8:07 I agree, the way the beat is chopped is textbook Preemo. Unless DJ Roach just so happened to produce an extremely similar sounding beat in the same style as Premier, I can't see how it could be anyone else. It's gotta be the main man himself.
It is fun remembering the songs that used the vinyl. I'm like I better go look in my room I bet I got it! Lol ***Rap Phenomenon is produced by Premo. Listen to those snares/kick combo. And I just looked at the vinyl credits 😁
@@DJFurio I have people asking me how I know where all these samples come from haha i do some of my own digging too, but half the time I'm like "so there's this guy on youtube"..
Yo I love your videos but you should go a little deeper. A lot of the recent stuff just seems to be recycled from your other videos and just placed in different categories. You should start doing like Brazilian stuff, Hungarian stuff, there’s so many things you could do to keep it more fresh. And believe me this is coming from a fan of your channel. Regardless, your stuff is dope. Keep up the good work.
A lot does get recycled as I’ve done so many videos and a lot of people haven’t watched them or haven’t watched all the way though. Only people like yourself that have watched for a while. I do try to throw in new samples where I can. I will look at what else I can do to keep things interesting.

Not from NY though so I couldn’t show that on this particular video.
@@DJFurio Yes! 😎✌️
Call me crazy, but "Maiden Voyage" - the sample for "If You Can Huh, You Can Hear" sounds extremely similar to "Unbelievable" by Biggie.
Very similar. I don’t think we will ever know that sample as Preemo said it was just a single note pitched up and down on the sampler.
Disposable Arts is my top Masta Ace album!!!!!!! Sitting on Chrome is right there omg
Such a great album. I got to see him live a few years ago

I would have shown the original Crooklyn Dodgers sample if I knew what it was. Still not been discovered.
The QTIP produced track? They both go hard but premier over did it…. It’s hypnotic!!!!
