A really important question is, how far a subject can be to get focused by the macro lens? Can it be used for food photography when food is in for example 20 cm distance?
Look how close I went to focus on subjects. This lens would work for molecular kitchen, when you want to emphasis on waterdrops or small details, I don't think it's good for food photography
These photos taken by you look very good. I already ordered one for myself - I want to record in 4K cool shots of my tarantulas up close. So far the S20 fe has not fully lived up to my expectations .. from a distance the image is sharp and looks beautiful. But any attempt to get close to the tarantula does not turn out well. Lossless (supposedly) zoom is, unfortunately, poor. A blurry very close up image. I will definitely share my experiences with what this lens can do on the moom TH-cam channel. I hope he will surprise me pleasantly 😀 Regards!
Hi Frank, I am testing a new one next week and I will let you know my findings. The few attachable tele lenses I tested in the past were all realty bad and not recommendable.
Hi. I recently got the macro lens and am trying it out. I have a question for you. When I'm taking pictures with the macro lens, do I switch my phone camera to 'macro' mode, or keep it in regular 'photo' mode?
Well, it's a Macro lens. So if you want to record dancing ants, you probably can. It is not for street photography. You would need something like this: th-cam.com/video/j2-cejewzXc/w-d-xo.html

@@ParadiseBizz thanks for response. I realize most people looking at videos like this are still photographers. @@robertecarpenter I never meant to neglect anyone, I find this topic very refreshing. But it requires a specific small tripod to hold steady while filming, doesn't it?
@@ParadiseBizz Yes. It's very difficult. You can actually attach the subject to the camera, so it moves in unison. Otherwise, the slightest breath of wind moves the subject ... sometimes completely out of the field of view. I use a large video tripod. but the thing I really wanted from you is how to get a good depth of field. No stacking in video (to my knowledge) like these fabulous shots you see for stills of insects. I hope you can help me on this one. What lens, lighting, camera, etc.
Nice review! Just bought one for my mum, but I'm tempted to buy one for myself. Not for my professional work but for socials It looks fun!
Indeed it is, because it give you so much to play with. put some ice cubes in olive oil and film slow mo how the disolve... It's a fun toy
Hi, I am going to buy this apexel professional macro lens and l wonder is it good?
Well, Nika, if you watched my video you will see a significant improvement for Macro photos
Complimenti per la recensione!anche perche' ha fatto tante prove senza perdere tempo in chiacchiere.
Cerco sempre di essere attento al tempo dello spettatore e di arrivare dritto al punto. Grazie per il riconoscimento. Significa molto per me.
lovely 👍, took me a while to get used to the Bokeh but now i love it , its so good after you get to know the game. Nice video 🎉
I was really surprised to see this increase in image quality over the original camera lenses
Amazing! This product is beyond my expectation. Nice video indeed
I did not expect such an image quality. Most add-on-lenses you can buy on Amazon are crap, but this one truly deserves the name "professional"
@@ParadiseBizz Yeah I will surely try

It depends on what kind of ophone you have. The iPhone handles this Macro lens different than the Samsung. Just try it out on which lens it works best
@@ParadiseBizz Thanks for your reply! I'm using a Samsung A71.
@@osmondrs1 you need to use it with the regular lens
A nice relaxed presentation- thanks!
Thank you for your kind words and thanks for watching
Is it adaptable on iphone 11 pro?
It works with all phones

You can use this lens with a cover attached, as long as the phone cover is not raised above the edges of your phone camera

50 seconds in the video I explain how to attach the lens to a cell phone. Just place it over the regular lens, not the super wide, not the tele

the box is labled with HD 100mm, I don't know why. Because normally 100mm would be a tele lens
