- In this video, I tried the Apexel 100mm Macro lens for Professional Macro Photography on a smartphone.
The Apexel 100mm Macro gives you the best possible magnification and depth while maintaining image sharpness and details. I used the iPhone 13 Pro as the test phone for this, but the results you see are pretty much similar across most modern phones.
Some Android phones with higher megapixel count and closer focusing distances may result in much better image quality and macro performance.

You have to take away even a light silicone cover to use it? Does it exist already for iPhone 14pro?

it'll fit even with a phone case just loosen the screw so you can open the clip wider

Absolutely. As long as you give the phone sensor enough light, you can expect similar or even better results.

Hihi! I got a macro lens but its different from urs. As u know, iphone has 3 camera and the macro lens needs to be put on the below camera. But for ur model, i can see there is a hold on top for the top camera whereas mine doesnt have that. And it just doesnt focus. Able to help?🥺

Hi Tifany! I've been using this lens for over a year, and I'm definitely not worried about any scratches. It has a bit of padding on the part that touches your lens. You should be okay :)

Yes if the centre of the camera lens is less than 25mm away from the edge of the phone or case if using one

Hey there! I don't know your exact circumstances, but most likely its cause of the lack of light. All my shots are taken outdoors at around 4/5pm which the sun is quite bright.
With macro you need A LOT of light, or they end up being blurry. Hope this helps. :)
I have a Mi 11 Ultra smartphone with a total thickness of 14.5mm with the rugged case on.
Will this clip fit on it without taking the case off?
If I take the case off the thickness is 12.5mm.
Also, if this clip does not fit, does it mean even other apexel lenses using a similar clip like the Apexel 6x will not fit?
Hi, iam having trouble with mine apexel..whats the settings you gotta use? I have 13pro and i can always see a piece of the lens and when not i have change the lens get away from object and it will switch the lens again…

This is the best macro lens. If you want cheaper, I've made some videos before.
Just received the lens - First impression
The clip is very tight, it might damage the glass so I certainly won't use it on my Sony Xperia Pro-i (1600 dollar).
The clip construction is wrong - the screw should have been the other side around in order to regulate the pressure on the camera.
The APEXEL lens itself is not bad.
On the 16 and 24mm it doesn't really add up
On the 50 mm it's just fine. (not amazing at all but just fine)
So I would not recommend this lens on an expensive mobile phone.

I just got this lens and was not impressed. My samsung galaxy s23 ultra takes better macro images than it does with this lens.
So You need to remove armor first :/ , nice presentation.
