Hey I have question about the Kelermorph and his gunslinger ability. Is it actually useful? Seriously though he has to be within 3" of a battleline unit and if they get targeted he can fire back, but can he fire back outside of his normal attack range of 12", or does he have to be within 12" which in that case why wouldn't they fire on him first since loan operatives can be targeted within 12 inches. I'd appreciate any help with this cause my favorite cowboy feels pretty weak now.
You are assuming all his targets are psykers, which is not true on most characters. With lower strength weapon and less damage he is only a really good sniper against 1 type of target. Against custodes, knights, other gsc, necrons, and many others he is just a sniper who may need a 4/5 to wound the characters he wants to target.
Meh. The Sanctus is an ok sniper, but in a game where you can simply hide your character out of the sniper model's LoS in order to nullify his Precision rule, he's not my first choice for lone operative support. Give me 3 Reductus Saboteurs and I'll show you assassins.
I disagree with the sniper being better, 1shot even hitting on 2's is super unreliable with 5 strength against most characters i think you would be lucky to have rolled a single wound roll by turn 4 with those odds much less kill a character. Knife is more reliable especially if you give it an additional +1 ap. Even then it probably doesn't kill a character unless you take 2. All in all i don't think you take him unless you want an action monkey that can occasionally take pot shots and even then. Reductus Saboteur or Kelermorph is probably better.
I like the logic but knife-man gets hit back, sniper-man does not. And like I said in the video, he is good at killing the terminators next to the librarian if you don't think you can kill the character
@@ChristianVonCarmian40kVtuber i don't think he's good at killing them either, with normal termies you're going to be wounding on a 4+ with 1 shot if you didn't roll a 1 to hit which isn't super likely and then they still have their 4+ invuln to save. Like if you're going into normal troops you might kill one per turn but then he's not doing much. Like I said I don't think you take him there's better options. but what I'm saying is if you actually want him to kill a character each game you take 2 and give them knives, they'll reliably kill the character as long as they get into combat with him... And then they'll die...
Em precision shot isn’t optional, So firing the rifle at unit of terminators that include a terminator librarian shot have to hit the terminator librarian and if you kill the librarian, the unit will lose the psyka keyword!
The Painboy being a surprisingly good melee assassin just feels like perfect Ork logic.
'E always knows where to cut
Note: Fancy cloaks give stealth.
Von Carmian has a fancy cloak.
Therefore Von Carmian has stealth.
have you ever heard my footsteps?
well there you go, I am -1 to hit at range
Makes sense to me: that Painboy is using unsterilyzed equipment and we all know that's much more dangerous than a bullet! 😁
I don't play GSC, and I don't really have any intent to, but I'm more than happy to listen to you talk about them forever
awesome!
I nearly choked on my dinner when you explained the Painboy...
Loving this channel, giving me loads of army ideas, cheers Geoff
thank you, Geoff. I am glad you are enjoying the videos
Just going to come out and say that this channel hands down got me to get into genestealer cults.
oh good, the cult is spreading!
He's a good sniper (especially against psyker) and relatively cheape. Also a video about the kilomorph would be cool.
kelermorph/kilomorph (if he weighs that much) video will happen
@@ChristianVonCarmian40kVtuber yes! He's my favorite model in the entire game.
Loving the GSC content bud, keep it coming 🎉
why gene-stealer in the ocean of tyranids squad?
Good content! Keep it up!

I will do a video on the Kelermorph and their uses and drawbacks
I knew there was a reason why I was looking for this character in my box of unpainted stuff lol.
I'm painting up a new one (conversion) and hope to have it ready for my next game
I love the Vindicare, but whenever I took him, he seemed the worst of the four assassins, I just wish he was good.
Vindicare is the cheapest for a reason
@@ChristianVonCarmian40kVtuber Haven't run them in 10th yet, ran them in 8th and 9th when all 4 were 100pts each.
Eversor looks fun in 10th though, and he was already my favourite.

9:00 they do that, the spotter is also a sniper by trade
good to know!
@@ChristianVonCarmian40kVtuber I believe that they're also generally more experienced than the gunner
that would make sense
I'll have a great time in 10th edtition thainks to you when I'll start my first BROKEN army! : D
not broken, just very well adjusted
@@ChristianVonCarmian40kVtuber Let's hope GW won't notice any broken build so soon!
the next update isn't going to be until September/October time. So I think we should be ok for a bit

If I may quote the rule 'the attacking model’s player
can choose to have that attack allocated to a Character'
@@ChristianVonCarmian40kVtuber well appreciate while it lasts as the points cost will double in September.
